View Full Version : Wireless Connection on Lap top
My wireless connection is very sporadic it just keeps randomly disconnection and when I click repair it just says it cant connect, the signal strength normally when connceted i excellent, then it just randomly goes!!!!! :wall: :wall: and I have to restart my computer again and it works!!!! Any suggestions??
I've found this too Jade - the wierd thing i find is that it connects fine after hibernation, but if i have shut down it takes ages to find it and then it starts peer to peer first then a couple of mins later, connects properly. I also find that it doesn't have to 50m range its supposed to, more like 3!!! When I do lose connection on it though, I unplug my PCMCIA card and then put it back in again, and this seems to work :wall: :searchme:
Oh right, well it used to work fine its only recently its been like this, i'll try pulling out the card thing next time.
no that didnt work!!! had to restart the thing, only seams to last about 10mins a time now:wall:
NB might have some ideas - he seems pretty clued up on this sort of stuff :D
