Pregnant Britney Spears has been rushed to hospital, according to tabloid reports.

The singer is due to have her first baby just three weeks from now, but it is rumoured she may have had an emergency Caesarean section.

The reports are unconfirmed and Britney's staff have made no comment on them.

The pop princess has said if the child is a boy she wants to call it London Preston, or Addison Shye if it turns out to be a girl.

Last month, Britters, who is married to dancer Kevin Federline, 27, also revealed: "I have a feeling I'm going to have an operation. I don't know why but I hope so.

"My mom said giving birth was the most excruciating thing she's ever gone through in her life. So if a caesarian doesn't happen, I'll be like, 'Epidural, please'."

US radio stations are reporting that Britney Spears has had her baby.

The star was rushed to hospital in California with her hubsband Kevin Federline on Sunday night.

Reports from the US are claiming that she had an emergency delivery with Kevin by her side.

Her mother and sister were waiting outside the hospital anxious for news.

Britney was supposed to have her baby at the end of the month.

oh GMTV i thought it said this wasnt right, that she hadnt gone into hospital or something.

Panic over

Britney is back at home after doctors gave her the all-clear over fears that she was having her baby four weeks early. Apparently, she's been chilling out watching DVDs with hubby Kevin Federline.

I read about that in the sun. She thought she'd be carefull after all of the other problems she's had during the pregnancy
