Davina McCall has insisted that she is "100 percent" behind her flop BBC One show He's Having A Baby.
The series, which follows a group of first-time fathers, debuted a fortnight ago with an unspectacular 2.4 million viewers, dropping to just 1.8 million for its most recent outing.
"Initially, none of us knew we were going to be up against The X Factor," McCall told heat this week. "And for a new programme that's very different from any other entertainment show on a Saturday night, it was just the worst slot and very, very difficult to handle."
She added: "I spend most of the show either laughing or crying, I love it. It's just a feel-good programme."
A BBC spokesperson insisted that the show was not in danger of being dropped but added that the show may be moved to 5.30pm to avoid competing with The X Factor.
