Well its that time again, that Teens hate, yet parents love. Yup, its back to school time.
Time for early mornings :thumbsdow
Homework and worse COURSEWORK :thumbsdow
Long walks in the freezing rain after spending yonks on your hair just to get there while carrying a socking great big bag :thumbsdow
Detentions (not that i get them :angel: ) :thumbsdow
Bitch fights at lunch (again not that i would :angel: ) :thumbsdow
and worse of all.... less time on SB :crying:

It was my first day of college today, soooo boring :eek: Had to fill in loadsss of forms, and listen to course tutors going on and on about the same thing :rolleyes: I weren't impressed :p

I am so glad that I don't have to all of that now a days - although think I would like to go back to college........may be once the little ones are at school
I'm lucky, i go in on Wednesday. Thats about the only good thing bout it all. Its so obvious that they are just gonna lecture us over and over again about how important this year is (as they always do), and then bury us in coursework and exams.

Well i left school 3 years ago but from the 22nd of this month i start college!!! Took me a while to realise i needed to go to actually get a career and realised being bad at school and not attending lessons put me in this boat lol. So its back to square one for me, not looking forward to being in a class with 16 year olds (no offence all young'uns on here) i just remember what i was like at 16!
But hope you all have a fab time back at school lol ill be thinking of ya while im in me college classes as well!

I'm really not looking forward to going back to school. I've left all my coursework til now as well so i'm gonna have to really try and finish it all in the next couple of days :(
Got to go back tomorow! BORING its my 1st day of year 10 tomorow so i've got all my boring options instead of the fun lessons like art, which im rubbish at so i didnt choose it!

my mate started his work as a pe teacher today ha if i had to work at a school it wouldnt be secondary i mean i wouldnt teach the girls on here anything id be letting them ramble on about soap all day while i play psp or summin

RE is a bit of a waste of time but I go to a catholic school (even though im not catholic) so you dont really have a choice
We dont do german we do french and spanish but i dropped spanish even though i like it better than french cos we cant drop french its compulsary

Spanish as our 'first' but 3rd lesson.. new teacher who refused to teach all of us.. even the ones who wanted to learn.. science after.. it wasnt that bad.. then we had erm.. what was it again..art yeah with the boringest teacher ever and I got him for design tommarow :crying: Today was ok.. Maths teacher is *bad words appear in a list* she's new and if you go Miss or anything she tells you off and your a extreamly close to a detention!! CCPE is the best!! :D We got a extreamly bare safe teacher so she's really fun :D

Our school isn't what you'd call fun. We just have a handful of random people who like to brighten up everybody elses dreary lives by creating some fun in an otherwise lifeless school lol!! But saying that, i am one of those random few. And this scarey person isn't someone you'd like to meet, he stands there with this HUGE possessed grin on his face and goes "hiya kirstie, loving locker....very sweet of you to be next to me" while his small mate stands there laughing....which is a shame coz if he wasn't so weird he'd be quite hot but oh well!! lol :D

Well i'm in school at the minute, ICT to be presis. I'm sooo tired. I was up at 6.45, so i'm zonked out. Only 50 minutes untill my long walk home, so its not all bad.

lol, today has been less eventful :( no sixth formers running around in bras :crying: :lol:....i seem to be sitting next to the same dude in most of my lessons.....that parts ok, its just the fact i asked him out a while back and he turned me down and now he REALLY wants to find out if i still fancy him (but he never asks ME!! he askes my mates!!) but he is funny and i just sit in hysterics the whole school day :D lol, and does anybody have the problem of smoking kids on there buses?? It drives me CRAZY!!!! :angry:

We have a few, but they aint that bad, because everyone hates them! People sell them wristbadnds saying "anti-chav" on them!

It works, the only signs that they are chavs now is the burberry bags, and fake tan. The attitude is gone :D

we don't have a 6th form... our school was supposed to build a corridor in the summer- its not been started yet! :lol:
why do you need a corridor?!
because its a relief one- the 1 atm is kinds small so you get crushed and trampled on at peak times, so they are building one round the back to stopthe problems
We have a dumb one way system to stop all that. We're not allowed to go up one lot of stairs, and we're not allowed to go down some others.

We tried that at our school but everybody ignored it!! lol, but most of our school you have to walk outside to get to different parts of it (which sucks when it rains!!) The sixth formers at our school are hilarious......i love them!! :rotfl:

I'm seriously exhusted after going to school. Its only the first day! I found out that i have 33 school days untill my trial exams :eek: and they are at christmas. The good thing aout that is that i have 33 days untill the christmas hols, but exams equal- PANIC!!
Oh no - I forgot about mocks! :eek: I've got mine in December as well, not too sure about what dates though.
I know!! :( I really hate exams they put you under so much pressure.

But our school can cope, its big enough.....cant say that fot the buses tho!!

I have my mocks in december too. We have the one way system it doesnt work at our school either but its not as bad cos we are a small school there are only about 350 kids

I really want to get started I cant wait for uni I've always been a very academic person so studying isnt hard for me now I'm just panicking about my gcse's im ok with everything but the english I need a b and although i know i can get it theres still that tiny bit of doubt in the back of my mind. My sister was laughing the other day cos I was doing my coursework and I panicked that much I started crying and had to start again but all was ok when i got the draft back i got an A and that was just the draft so i think im worrying for nothing but better to be safe than sorry
Second day back. I got my Shakespeare courework back which i did at the end of last year and got full marks :D:D:D:D:D Thats the most important one in my course as it counts for both enligh language and literature, so i'm dead pleased.
You'll be pleased to know i didn't get a det today, i didn't risk coming on here!! :lol:

i came on before school. i was going to risk coming on in ict, but i put the cricket on instaed! the senior management came round yesterday, and our teacher has let all her classes go on the internet for lessons, and SMT came round... she nearly got caught, but the people SMT saw were looking at computer components... in their spare time!!!!
Who would do that in there spare time?! Strange people!
yeah, and atleast it got my teacher out of trouble!

At my school we do... we get study leave in december then go on to the christams holidays! lol. how fab is that! :cheer:

seriously! lol, that cant be true though beacsue we leave school in May and our exams are later than that june or july time. we had sudy leave last year for a week too and a week in december i think.

i cant revise in school properly, i like to be at home where i can do it in quiet and on the comfort of my sofa! lol. Though i do admit that my mind does wonder and i begin to watch tv and stuff instead! lol, but i can concentrate more at home, its stressfull and depressing at school!

omg seriously?! At school you can't focus properly on revision. Whereas at home you can revise what you feel you need to and not what the school wants. Plus its a more relaxed environment therefore its easier to concentrate......i hate the goverment *folds arms*
yeah, you can't focus in school. all the people in my year are making a stand against it because then we have to go home and revise, instead if doing lots in school where you get distracted

The holidays seem so far away now, i'm so stressed out. Too much work to do. I'm sitting here physically staring at the pile of books i need to write in, but i haven't got hte energy. and i know i wont tomorrow wither. yeah, its very evil! i know when my sociology cwk and geogrpahy cwk are up and running, i will be heating for a breakdown, because you get other hwk aswell from other subjects and its really bad.

yeah! no homework would be good. i'm usually alright, but there are sometimes it gets too much...

Them CAT tests are funny. They are dead simple, they ask stuff like "What number comes next in the sequence? 2,4,6,8,10 Then.....?"

I had to do one called At Grass, and i didn't have hte faintest idea what it was on about, so i googled it! They explained the themes and stuff, made it a hell of a lot easier!

Ive got 3 CAT tests in the coming week. Verbal on monday, Quantative on tuesday and Non- Verbal on wednesday
I wasn't ever told how i did on my CAT tests. I've done them twice, and i dunno the results of either of them. To be honest, i dont really understand what they're meant to be about. Are they like an IQ test result?
um. kinda. we aren't supposed to see them. we use them at our school to see if we are in the right groups

We did some of them in yr7 and they put us in sets from that but we never got to see the results. I don't really understand them either, I mean how are they meant to tell how good you are at geography by how you put things in sequences etc. :rolleyes:

Yeah we did them in Yr7 to decide which sets we were going to be in for high school. (high schools in norfolk start in yr8!)
We never got to see the results!
