Wonder what Paul is up to? Something to do with the highway I guess.
I really hope they finish the show off with a one or two year later thing to show what happened to the unfinished stories.

Radiotimes.com article with pictures & list of returnees for the final episodes:
Neighbours finale week: Tragedy strikes as another 9 old faces return to say goodbye to Ramsay Street
The last ever episode airs in three weeks.
https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/soaps/neighbours/neighbours-finale-week-spoilers-old-faces-return/
The end of an era is fast approaching, as Neighbours' final ever episode hits our screens in just three weeks.
It comes following the news that the show had been axed for the third time in 40 years, with current producers Amazon MGM Media deciding not to renew beyond their 460-episode commission.
Filming concluded in July, with executive producer Jason Herbison saying at the time: ?Neighbours is a special show and it's been a privilege to make the recent seasons for our loyal viewers around the world. We have added 460 episodes to our legacy of over 9,000 episodes, something we all feel proud of.
"Once again, we will be resting the residents of Ramsay Street on a hopeful note, with some tantalising possibilities for a future chapter.?
We now know that the street is set to be demolished to make way for a new freeway development, but the residents aren't giving up without a fight.
As a campaign gets under way to save the Melbourne cul de sac, legacy character Shane Ramsay (Peter O'Brien) comes back to offer an alternative ? everyone should move to a new development in the countryside.
However, his old pal Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) has other ideas, and as new spoiler pictures show, he whisks his neighbours ? past and present ? off to the city for a look at another site.
But what will the outcome be? Will Ramsay Street be saved, or will everyone choose to pack their bags and start afresh?
The answer to that question remains to be seen, and with a whole host of other dramas reaching a head in the last four episodes, it won't be an easy decision to make.
Firstly, the Linwell brothers make one final strike towards the Varga-Murphys by kidnapping young JJ (Riley Bryant), while Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) rushes down Power Road and falls to the floor.
Later, she has a tearful conversation with lover Andrew Rodwell (Lloyd Will) in hospital. What does this mean for their unborn child?
Surprisingly, his wife Wendy (Candice Leask) is also by the bedside.
Meanwhile, Krista Tanaka (Majella Davis) makes a shock announcement, which is followed by a big decision, and Paul throws some form of romantic ceremony for partner Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) in their backyard.
Romance is clearly in the air as Jane Harris (Annie Jones) contemplates her future with Clint Hendry (Jason Wilder), and in the final instalment, the Robinson/Ramsay feud is reignited between Paul and Shane.
Alongside the previously announced returnees; Shane, Sam Kratz (Richard Grieve), Annalise Hartman (Kimberley Davies), Sue Parker (Kate Gorman), Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone), Haz Devkar (Shiv Palekar), Lucas Fitzgerald (Scott Major), Levi Canning (Richie Morris) and Remi Varga-Murphy (Naomi Rukavina), another nine familiar faces are set to be around as the sun sets over Erinsborough for the final time.
Here's a look at everyone else confirmed to be returning:
Ramsay Street residents reunite as a further 9 returns are confirmed
1. Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden)
Without a doubt, Melanie is the name (and laugh) that everyone wants to see back. It was a crime that she ever went, really.
Cowden first appeared during Neighbours' heyday in 1987, and is one of a few actors to have had episodes throughout every decade of the show.
It's the moment everyone's been waiting for since she chuckled her way out in March, and now she's finally back, pictured alongside cast and crew in a special behind the scenes snap.
2. Nell Rebecchi (Ayisha Salem-Towner)
It hasn't been too long since we last saw Nell ? having departed alongside dad Toadie (Ryan Moloney) in September.
She's seen joining in with Paul's recce to the city, but it's likely that she comes back to attend Paul and Terese's celebrations.
3. Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich)
Jimmy's had somewhat of a growth spurt since he last treaded Australian soil. The grandson of Paul, he accompanies his family to Melbourne and like Nell, later joins in the party atmosphere.
Darcy originally played Jimmy between 2015 and 2018, returning for guest appearances the following year and on New Year's Day 2020.
4 and 5. Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and Rhett Norman (Liam Maguire)
Aaron made a rather hasty departure in September, deciding to start a new life on the other side of the country so he could be closer to his mum and sister, who have Huntington's disease.
Pictures show him enjoying brekkie with the Harris-Stone clan, alongside another old face... Rhett!
His circumstances were another reason for Aaron's move to Adelaide. They'd just made things official, when the mother of Rhett's daughter announced her plans to leave Melbourne.
Could they be deciding to swap states in the show's final days?
6. Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson)
Kiri was a regular during Neighbours' final months in 2022, moving off screen to Magnetic Island to live with her estranged dad Glen Donnelly (Richard Huggett).
She enjoyed a brief romance with Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson), and made a short return last year.
Could they have a happy ending together?
Matheson has continued contributing to the soap off-screen as a writer.
7. Ned Willis (Ben Hall)
Ben Hall is another ex-cast member coming back, with his last appearance as Terese's former stepson Ned being in 2022.
As a regular for six years, he has plenty of ties to the locals that will see him jump straight back into the action.
8. Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux)
Byron went to live with former housemates Mack and Haz in Paris in August.
Molyneux had signed on the dotted line for the titular role in Amazon's new Viking drama Bloodaxe, but has made time out of his undoubtedly hectic schedule to wave off the show that kickstarted his career.
Fans will notice he's now sporting an impressive beard as a result of his Nordic adventures...
9. Roxy Canning (Zima Anderson)
Foxy Roxy is back! The fan favourite briefly came back for 12 episodes earlier in the year, and it wouldn't be right to say goodbye to Neighbours without her there.
Wherever Roxy goes, trouble follows... and something tells us she won't be happy to see Ramsay Street under threat.

8:40pm? Screw the UK. They are the ones that didn't want to pursue Neighbours a few years ago.
Anyway, if Neighbours was to ever comeback, a different setting to Ramsay Street is its only hope, as a new beginning, so 100% the street will be demolished.

Nowtolove.com.au article (Jason Herbison talking with TV WEEK):
Jason Herbison teases big Neighbours finale as fans ask: Could the show return yet again?
?There are some Easter eggs for the fans?
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/entertainment/neighbours-finale-jason-herbison/
Neighbours executive producer Jason Herbison admits he was torn about how to end the show for the second time in three years ? but one thing he knew for sure was that this finale couldn?t be final-final. Not after everything the show, and its fans, have been through.
?Firstly, I couldn?t end it the same way as I did last time,? Jason tells TV WEEK.
?Secondly, I knew we were losing the Nunawading studios and backlot imminently, which was different to the last time. With so much love for the show I felt I should craft an ending that would give the show a chance to come back in different ways that didn?t rely on the studios. This is what the finale sets out to do.?
And what an ending it promises to be.
A proposed freeway threatens to slice straight through Ramsay Street, forcing every neighbour to consider whether to stay and fight for the home they?ve loved for 40 years, or accept a future elsewhere ? either at Shane Ramsay?s (Peter O?Brien) ambitious new development, Ramsay Hills, or at Paul Robinson?s (Stefan Dennis) sleek new Robinson Towers.
?Paul has begun to see his future in the city ? at Robinson Towers, a new hotel and residential development. Meanwhile Shane wants to build a new suburb ? Ramsay Hills,? Jason explains. ?Neither anticipated the freeway project or the residents of Ramsay Street having to move, but since that appears to be the case, it becomes a battle to entice them to their respective new precincts.?
Of course, fans will remember how the previous finale unfolded ? the emotional 2022 farewell that brought Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce and Delta Goodrem back to Erinsborough when Channel 5 pulled its funding and the show ended for what everyone believed was the last time.
The finale was a celebration more than a goodbye, a glittering reunion that tied up decades of stories in a nostalgic bow? before Amazon Freevee revived the beloved soap the following year.
So can Neighbours top its own history-making finale?
This time around, Jason hints audiences might be just as lucky, with a few familiar faces popping in for the show?s bittersweet ending.
?There are some returning faces, and most of them are from the Amazon era, or characters we intended to bring back but ran out of time for,? he reveals.
?There are also a few Easter eggs for the fans. Annalise almost breaks the fourth wall at one point ? see if you can guess what she?s talking about! It was also worth mentioning that we asked Ryan Maloney to return as Toadie. He was unavailable sadly, but he does of course get a mention.?
https://www.instagram.com/p/DRgx64diPKR/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=1b20e1df-42f2-4763-8ac3-c3127eda0768
With emotions high, the street under threat, old faces returning and a finale crafted to honour 40 years of storytelling? the question remains: Will this farewell be even bigger than the last ? and will this goodbye finally be forever?
Neighbours airs on Monday and Tuesday at 6pm and shows a double episode on Thursday at 8.40pm in its final week on 10.

Nowtolovce.com.au article:
Neighbours stars Alan Fletcher & Jackie Woodburne farewell Ramsay Street again: ?It?s an immeasurable loss?
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/entertainment/neighbours-finale-alan-fletcher-jackie-woodburne/
When Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne were told Neighbours had been cancelled, the news hit with a force they immediately recognised. It was the same hollow ache they had felt back in March 2022, when the iconic soap faced its first cancellation. This time, they knew what was coming, but that didn?t soften the blow.
?The first breakup is always the hardest ? that?s true heartbreak,? Jackie, 69, tells TV WEEK. ?This time we?ve had a bit of time to get our heads around it. But the loss is the same ? we?re going to lose this incredible place where people can join the industry.?
The revival by Amazon Freevee, in partnership with the production company Fremantle, had given Ramsay Street a remarkable second life; but, after two more years on air, the shifting landscape of broadcast television has finally caught up with the series.
?The fact that so much advertising is now spread over so many different platforms makes it very hard for free-to-air networks to survive and to make a product,? Alan, 68, explains.
The industry is different now: fragmented audiences, new content models and fierce competition for attention mean that even beloved long-running shows must fight to stay afloat. And, if all that weren?t enough, a new technological shift looms.
?What we think have been big changes over the last 40 years will be dwarfed by what AI is going to do to entertainment product,? Alan warns. ?It?s something the industry and all the workers in it are going to have to be very vigilant about? Because it?s a runaway train that could run everybody over.?
https://www.instagram.com/p/DRgx64diPKR/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=21368bc1-22ac-40be-b37d-50a0986788bb
For Alan and Jackie ? known to generations of Australians as Dr Karl and Susan Kennedy for the last 31 years ? the thought of saying goodbye again is layered with emotion.
Their on-screen marriage has survived affairs, illnesses, amnesia, blended families, career crises and decades of cul-de-sac drama. They have become the emotional spine of the series and its dependable heartbeat all in one.
?We were both very emotional saying goodbye to the crew,? Jackie says. ?We?ve seen people grow up, get married, have children, get divorced, get remarried? We?ve had cast and crew who have passed away. We see each other through the best and the worst of life ? and that?s a privilege that only happens when you get to play a character for this long.?
Neighbours has been a launching pad ? one that has produced some of Australia?s biggest global stars. Kylie Minogue, Margot Robbie, the three Hemsworth brothers, Guy Pearce, Delta Goodrem to name just a few. The loss of a high-calibre training ground worries the pair for future actors.
?We?re going to lose this incredible place where people can join the industry and learn their trade,? Jackie says. ?It?s a place they can discover and hone their talents. That?s an immeasurable loss.?
For Jackie and Alan, mentoring new talent was a great joy of the job.
?When these young actors join us, they?re quite green and inexperienced,? Jackie says. ?Then they have those moments when they discover they can do something as an actor that they didn?t know they could do.
?The joy and confidence that brings them is so exciting for us to watch ? and you feel like this place matters.?
When Neighbours ends, the promise of nurturing young talent must continue somewhere. Alan hopes that long-time friendly rival Home and Away will keep that particular torch burning.
?I?ve heard from directors who?ve worked on both shows that the spirit at Home and Away is very close to what goes on at Neighbours,? he says.
?All hail to them, and long may they last.?
Alan and Jackie have together weathered huge storylines ? and some deeply personal moments behind the scenes, including the cancer diagnosis of fan favourite Ian Smith, who played Harold Bishop.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIb_7w2N7uY/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=d293d2ee-8d1c-4546-b316-7879e23d94e2
?When Ian left, it was like losing a big chunk of the family,? Jackie says. ?He was a huge thread of the show from the very beginning.?
Filming their final scenes at the Kennedy house ? the heart of Ramsay Street ? brought the pair a bittersweet sense of d?j? vu.
?I think the fans will love the ending because it is about hope,? Jackie says. ?Filming those scenes on the street, we were all reminded of the last time we were there. So it was kind of a double-barrel emotional shotgun that day, because we were remembering the first time we farewelled the show.?
While they ready themselves to close the door on Erinsborough, new chapters await. Alan?s music career continues to grow, with his work as a guitarist and singer?songwriter thriving.
?I love playing music and I love performing live,? he says. ?Music gives me the opportunity to express my thoughts about life through my songs. I?ll keep playing until someone cuts my hands off!?
Jackie has already moved into a new project: Imposter, a four-part drama with Dannii Minogue, that she feels ?very lucky? to be part of. But their hearts are with the fans who must now say their own goodbyes.
?There are a lot of people who tell us how much Neighbours means so much to them,? Alan says. ?And there?s a component of our audience who, for whatever reason, have limited mobility and rely on TV for their solace and entertainment. Neighbours is a very big part of their lives.?
And so, as Ramsay Street fades to black once more, Alan and Jackie leave viewers with the gentle promise that, no matter where life takes them, or where the industry moves next, they really do ?thank you just for being a neighbour.?
In Neighbours final week you can watch it on 10 at 4pm on Monday and Tuesday and a spectacular double episode finale at 8.40pm on Thursday.

Neighbours spoilers: The residents of Ramsay Street say goodbye
The series finale is upon us!
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/entertainment/neighbours-finale-spoilers/
It?s the end of an era for beloved Aussie series Neighbours, and its final week is full of drama as the residents clash and Erinsborough?s future hangs in the balance.
The long-simmering feud between Paul (Stefan Dennis) and Shane (Peter O?Brien) explodes as the old-friends-turned-rivals battle for control of the neighbourhood?s destiny as a freeway looms to destroy the place they?ve considered home for 40 years.
Paul pitches the sleek new Robinson Towers, while Shane pushes residents towards a new future in Ramsay Hills, each trying to convince the residents to follow them into a new life beyond the cul-de-sac.
?Paul has begun to see his future in the city at Robinson Towers, a new hotel and residential development. Meanwhile, Shane wants to build a new suburb, Ramsay Hills,? executive producer Jason Herbison tells TV WEEK.
?Neither anticipated the freeway project or the residents of Ramsay Street having to move, but, since that appears to be the case, it becomes a battle to entice them to their respective new precincts.?
The fight divides the community. Susan (Jackie Woodburne) refuses to budge, clinging to the street she?s called home for decades, while others eye the promise of a fresh start.
?Susan is the heart of Ramsay Street,? Jason says. ?The future looks grim, however, she receives some information at the eleventh hour that gives her hope.?
Meanwhile, Paul?s personal life is just as dramatic. Hoping to prove love still trumps ambition, he stages a surprise commitment ceremony for Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou).
In a heartfelt moment watched by friends and neighbours, Terese agrees to move into Robinson Towers and even considers taking Paul?s name. Together, they wave goodbye to Ramsay Street, hand in hand, excited about the future.
?It?s not a ploy ? it?s genuine,? Jason reveals. ?Paul truly wants to draw a line in the sand and start afresh. But there could be a twist ? both are nostalgic for the street.?
While celebrations unfold, tragedy strikes elsewhere. Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall), still reeling from weeks of turmoil after her affair with Andrew (Lloyd Will) was exposed, spots an ambulance driven by one of the Linwells? associates and heroically helps save missing teen JJ (Riley Bryant).
Moments later, the mum-to-be doubles over in pain and is rushed to hospital. There, enemies Holly and Wendy (Candice Leask) put their differences aside as Holly braces for the worst.
?Wendy quickly puts her own hurt and betrayal aside, and it becomes a moment of bonding between them,? Jason says.
As Paul and Shane?s battle rages and the Kennedys face a new emergency, one truth becomes clear: endings aren?t always tragic ? sometimes they?re simply the sign it?s time to move on.
Neighbours finale week airs Monday and Tuesday, 4pm, Thursday 8.40pm on 10.

6 new Neighbours spoilers reveal shock kidnap for show's final week
Who's in danger?
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a69585621/neighbours-spoilers-kidnap-final-week/
Neighbours spoilers follow for the episode airing on Monday 8 December.
1. The Linwells come under suspicion again
Neighbours kicks off the show's final week with a bang next Monday, as the Varga-Murphys go head-to-head with the fearsome Linwells one last time. The dangerous rivalry, which has been playing out ever since the Varga-Murphys arrived in Erinsborough two years ago, escalates once again when JJ goes missing in mysterious circumstances.
In a worrying new storyline, JJ's mums Remi and Cara panic when they realise that he hasn't been in touch all day and nobody has seen him. This doesn't bode well, especially when Elle Robinson finds a taunting message which has been left outside, reading: "Where is JJ?"
Remi and Cara immediately suspect that JJ has been abducted by Eric Linwell, who has a motive for revenge after the family's dodgy dealings were recently discovered.
With everyone on high alert, the Varga-Murphys and the Rodwells unite to lead the search for JJ...
"As things look bleak for JJ, Cara resorts to confronting her friend-turned-enemy Tania Linwell," our Neighbours source explains.
"Speaking to her on a mother-to-mother basis, she urges Tania to do the right thing by defying Eric and helping to find JJ."
After so many frosty interactions with Cara, will Tania drop their vendetta for the greater good?
2. The search for JJ fuels tensions on the Street
Wendy Rodwell finishes packing up Andrew's things and prepares to move on with her life ? still adamant that she can't forgive her cheating husband for his affair with Holly Hoyland.
When Andrew, Holly and Sadie are thrown together amid the search for JJ, it rubs salt in the wounds for a struggling Wendy.
3. Holly makes a discovery
Holly is the first to make a breakthrough discovery ? there's an abandoned ambulance in the neighbourhood without any explanation. When Holly spots Ricky Denham lurking nearby, she starts to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
Holly approaches the ambulance and asks for directions, allowing her to hear JJ's desperate cries from inside the vehicle...
4. Felix steps in
Holly's intervention sets the ball rolling for a dramatic rescue attempt. She's hot on Eric and Ricky's trail ? but it's Felix who blocks the ambulance they've been hiding in.
Felix is relieved when he manages to find JJ, but what state will he be in?
5. Holly fears for the baby
Holly pushes herself hard to save JJ, but when the adrenaline starts to wear off, she clutches her stomach in concern.
As pregnant Holly realises there could be something wrong, is tragedy about to strike?
6. Clint puts on a brave face
It's a stressful day for Addison Rutherford as she's among those who worry about JJ's whereabouts.
She leans on Clint for support, unaware of his own struggles as he's putting on a brave face following Addison's unexpected decision to move back in with her mother.

4 new Neighbours spoilers reveal devastating storyline in final week
There's heartbreaking news at the hospital.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a69598747/neighbours-spoilers-devastating-final-story/
Neighbours spoilers follow for the episode airing on Tuesday 9 December. The article contains discussion of baby loss that some readers may find upsetting.
1. A tragic turn of events for Holly and Andrew
Neighbours airs tragic scenes next week as pregnant Holly Hoyland suffers a devastating loss. The emotional storyline airs as Holly is rushed to hospital following her involvement in JJ Varga-Murphy's dramatic kidnap plot.
As the Aussie soap's 40-year run nears its conclusion early next week, Ramsay Street's residents are shocked to realise that JJ has been abducted. While the Linwell family are the top suspects, there are no quick and easy answers for JJ's frantic family.
Holly plays a key role in solving the mystery, realising that JJ is being held captive in an ambulance which has appeared in the neighbourhood. With help from Felix Rodwell, she raises the alarm and ensures that JJ is rescued.
Just as Holly breathes a sigh of relief after her heroic efforts, she starts to feel unwell ? clutching her stomach and fearing the worst over her unborn baby's wellbeing...
"Holly's on her own when she collapses," our Neighbours source explains. "The first person to find her is Wendy Rodwell, who jumps straight into action by making sure that she gets to the hospital safely.
"Wendy's animosity over Holly and Andrew's affair is all forgotten due to the severity of the situation. She even stays right by Holly's side at the hospital as they wait for the Kennedys to arrive."
Later, Wendy is still there when Holly learns the devastating news that she has lost the baby.
With family and friends surrounding them, Holly and Andrew are both left in mourning as they reflect on the loss of the future they thought they'd have as co-parents.
"In the aftermath, Wendy and her daughter Sadie are determined to put their grievances aside to offer their condolences," our insider adds.
"It seems that there may be hope for everyone to reconcile and move on in the future, but with so few episodes left, will there be any firm answers before Neighbours ends?"
2. Krista supports Holly
News of Holly and Andrew's loss reaches Krista Tanaka, who knows what they're going through after her heartbreaking experiences with baby Hope last year.
Krista reaches out to support Holly, making it clear that she's there if her friend and colleague ever wants to talk.
3. Krista discovers some big news
Krista is pushed to her limits by stressful situations ? including the controversial freeway development and Paul's desire to sell the hotel so he can focus on his new venture, Robinson Heights.
When Krista seems exhausted, she passes it off as a side effect of recent events ? but soon takes a pregnancy test and discovers that it's positive.
4. Paul makes another plan
Paul's relationship with Terese Willis faces further strain amid the freeway dramas. While Paul is keen to make a clean break, Terese wants to stay loyal to her friends by keeping up the fight to save Ramsay Street.
Paul has two main priorities ? beating Shane Ramsay by luring everyone over to Robinson Heights rather than Ramsay Hills, and repairing things with Terese. As Terese is the love of Paul's life, he won't give up without a fight ? but he'll need everyone's help to put his latest plan into action...

Neighbours spoilers follow for the episode airing on Wednesday 10 December.
1. Paul and Terese make a public commitment
Neighbours fans see Paul Robinson fight for his future with Terese Willis next week ? surprising her with a romantic ceremony to prove his love for her. Will the popular couple get back on track before Neighbours ends?
Paul is determined to show how much Terese means to him after a string of recent problems. Their relationship recently turned sour when Paul gently rejected Terese's marriage proposal ? and things only got worse when he finally came clean with the full story of Chelsea Murphy's last stint in town.
Over the coming days, Paul also finds himself at odds with Terese over the future of Ramsay Street. While Terese wants to stick around and save the Street from demolition, Paul hopes to lure his friends and neighbours to his new Robinson Towers development.
"The pressure is on for Paul to get things back on an even keel," our Neighbours insider explains. "He knows that his relationship with Terese isn't perfect, but he hates to see her so downcast when it comes to their future.
"In the end, Paul surprises Terese with a commitment ceremony ? witnessed by many of their closest pals. It's not quite a wedding, but Paul reckons it'll do the job!"
Paul and Terese exchange some touching vows, pouring their hearts out over how much they mean to each other.
Before long, Terese makes a surprise u-turn when it comes to the Street's uncertain future?
"Terese finally tells Paul that she's prepared to move to Robinson Towers," our spy adds. "She even tells Paul that she'll consider changing her surname!"
2. Shane scores a point against Paul
As Paul is so preoccupied with the commitment ceremony, he inadvertently gives Shane an advantage in the battle of their new developments.
Shane arranges a time ? and an impressive guest list ? for an official visit to see what his proposed Ramsay Hills site has to offer.
Paul is furious when he finds out and becomes determined to fight back by showcasing Robinson Towers as quickly as possible?
3. Krista is fearful after her pregnancy news
Krista Tanaka is shocked by the revelation that she's pregnant again. Her husband Leo is excited, but Krista struggles with heartbreaking memories of the tragedy with baby Hope last year. This difficult situation is also fuelled by the loss of Holly Hoyland's baby, which sees Krista step up to support her friend and employee.
When Nicolette Stone finds out what's going on, she takes a leaf out of Jane's book by using cue cards to highlight all of the wonderful things about Krista. Will this change Krista's mind over the baby?
4. Jane and Clint reunite
The uncertainty between Jane Harris and Clint Hendry over their future starts to take its toll. When Jane asks Clint to attend an event with her but doesn't confirm it as an official date, Clint gets frustrated and excuses himself from the party.
Shortly afterwards, Jane finds her lost engagement ring. Taking this as a sign, she finally declares her true feelings for Clint and the couple reunite.

DS article:
Neighbours releases final ever spoilers ? as one character hopes to save Ramsay Street
Will the freeway ever see the light of day?
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a69625549/neighbours-final-ever-spoilers-save-ramsay-street/
Neighbours spoilers follow for the emotional finale episode airing on Thursday 11 December.
Neighbours has released the show's final ever spoilers, as fans get their first glimpse of how the iconic Aussie soap will come to an end next week. But don't worry ? the bosses aren't giving all the secrets away.
While a detailed synopsis is usually released for each episode one week before transmission, the official billing for the upcoming finale keeps some surprises back. Read on for the official word!
"Shane and Paul continue to rally against one another in their bid to lure their friends and neighbours to buy into their respective new living arrangements: Ramsay Hills and Robinson Towers," the synopsis reads.
"While Susan is firmly against either option, other residents allow themselves to be whisked away on tours of the prospective sites.
"With old and new friends coming together to honour the Ramsay Street legacy, Susan isn't ready to give up the fight for her beloved street."
No further information has been released on whether Susan will manage to save the Street from demolition ? and where everyone will end up.
Those loyal to Paul look set to give Robinson Towers a fair chance to impress them, but Shane also manages to drum up plenty of interest in Ramsay Hills.
Some interviews from the cast have even suggested that Neighbours may end on a cliffhanger with the fate of the Street left unresolved, but we'll have to tune in to see exactly how it all plays out!
Spoiler pictures released for the final episodes have already revealed a string of returnees, with Aaron Brennan, Rhett Norman, Ned Willis, Byron Stone, Nell Rebecchi, Melanie Pearson, Kiri Durant, Roxy Canning and Levi Canning among those coming back.
"I think the fans will love the ending because it is about hope," Jackie Woodburne, who plays Susan, recently told TV Week.
"Filming those scenes on the street, we were all reminded of the last time we were there. So it was kind of a double-barrelled emotional shotgun that day, because we were remembering the first time we farewelled the show."
Neighbours fans in the UK can see the final episode from 7am on Prime Video on Thursday 11 December. Fans in Australia will see the final two episodes as an hour-long special on the same date, running from 8.40pm on Channel 10.

Radiotimes.com article - Neighbours producer, Jason Herbison interview:
Neighbours producer teases "optimistic" finale and reflects on soap's legacy after 40 years
Jason Herbison exclusively reflects on the end of an era ? and what he regrets about the final weeks...
https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/soaps/neighbours/neighbours-finale-jason-herbison-interview-exclusive/
After more than 40 years on air, the time has come to bid farewell to Neighbours ? again.
The iconic Australian soap survived the axe from 5 in 2022 and was revived by Amazon a year later, only for the streaming giant to announce in February that it was pulling the plug on the reboot.
As the show?s loyal fans commiserate the end of an era, anticipation is high for the Neighbours finale?s release on 11th December.
In an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com, the soap?s executive producer Jason Herbison teases what viewers can expect, and candidly reflects on the challenge of crafting a second swansong, his feelings on the show?s demise and what he would have done differently.
Did you approach the 2025 finale differently from the 2022 one?
I approached the ending very differently this time. I knew I couldn?t compete with 2022 or do the same thing twice.
What can you tell us about the final scene?
It?s somewhat of an homage to the finale 2022 scene, however it involves a small cast this time. Jackie Woodburne (aka Susan Kennedy) made me cry in 2022 and she?s done it again in 2025! I was on set when we shot it.
How would you describe the atmosphere on the final day of filming?
We all hugged and shed a tear ? it was very emotional. After the final scene, we gathered in Studio A, exactly as we did in 2022. For those of us present on both occasions, it was incredibly surreal.
You can?t go through the same thing twice and feel exactly the same way, I believe. Most of all, this time, we felt a sense of gratitude. We all thought the show ended for good in 2022 and the Amazon era has been a wonderful bonus.
Paul and Terese are at the centre of the final week, what makes this couple work so well?
The all-important X-factor! Some pairings just have great chemistry, while others don?t. We have tried putting them with other people but they always end up back together. I think these obstacles are what makes them work, too.
If they were together and happy all the time, it would be boring. Full credit to Stefan Dennis and Rebekah Elmaloglou, who bring their own real-life charm and naughtiness to the roles ? and I do mean naughty!
Stefan Dennis gets the last line in the finale ? was it hard to choose which actor had that honour?
Stefan asked me if he could have the last line long before I?d even written the episode. It wasn?t a tough decision ? he?s a legend and he deserves it.
How important was it to return to the Ramsay/Robinson feud for the finale?
I?m a big believer in honouring the history of the show. The Ramsay/Robinson feud has been a great foundation for conflict over the years and it felt full-circle to come back to it. I was hoping to bring all of Paul?s living kids back for the finale but when that didn?t work, I realised it would be fun to have Jimmy and Max as young rivals ? chips off the old block and the next generation.
In the way that Mike and Clive sparring was old-school Neighbours in the 2022 finale, the hijinks here are intentional throwbacks to the style of the '80s.
Without spoiling too much, what can you tease about how the show ends?
The mood is optimism. We shot the finale back in July so of course, there are lots of spoilers out there already, but the actual dialogue itself hasn?t leaked so hopefully that will be a surprise to viewers.
I couldn?t help but play with that sense of deja-vu. We have been here before, right? The threat to the street is an echo of what is happening to the show itself. Unlike last time, we were actively starting to pack up our studios in Nunawading as the last episodes were shot. I personally found this very emotional and wanted to bring that sentiment to the finale.
Which storyline from the Amazon era are you proudest of?
I enjoyed the recent return of Darcy Tyler and how it dovetailed into Jane and Amanda?s story arc. It was always great to give Karl a big, dramatic arc.
Similarly, I loved the way Holly and Andrew?s affair dovetailed into Cara and Greg?s story. I always strive to fold in every character in the street and have long-lasting repercussions for every major event that happens.
Were you worried about the reaction to the Holly/Andrew affair?
No more than I would be for any controversial story. Soaps aren?t meant to please audiences all the time, you have to take risks. Characters need to be flawed and there has to be conflict, drama and shocks along the way. If there?s not, you are rightly criticised for being boring and predictable.
I do regret we were unable to secure Natalie Bassingthwaighte to reprise her role as Izzy ? there was a return planned but the story arc still played without it.
Holly came into her own as a leading lady in this era, why did the audience respond to her so strongly?
Lucinda Armstrong-Hall did an incredible job bringing Holly back to life in the reboot, complete with the character?s glorious imperfections. I loved how she was a chip off the Izzy block and trying to be herself, yet her worst instincts kept getting the better of her.
We had the Andrew affair storyline planned a while ago and started to chip away at Holly?s self-esteem to get her in the right emotional place. The story was meant to launch in the 40th anniversary week but we had to delay it. Holly?s a great soap character ? trouble finds her and Lucinda played the role in a very real, multi-dimensional way.
The Varga-Murphys were breakout stars of the Amazon era, what made them so popular?
We were incredibly fortunate to cast two amazing actors, Sara West and Naomi Rukavina, as Cara and Remi, along with two new talents, Marley Williams (Dex) and Riley Bryant (JJ) , as the boys.
They all worked hard to make the family feel authentic and it paid off. I know there was some criticism of Remi?s recent amnesia storyline and that?s valid, no fault of the actors. We had a much bigger story planned but ran out of time to play out the full scope. There is a nice ending for the family and I?m sure they?ll be long remembered.
Across the 40 years, is there a single character that defines Neighbours for you?
I can only single out the street. It?s the glue that keeps everyone together ? the connective tissue.
A few months on, how do you feel about Neighbours ending in this way?
I?m in a very different head space now and feel very at peace with it all. The ending was a challenge but I hope the loyal fans can appreciate why I?ve gone the way I did. My only regret is that I didn?t have another week of the show ? it was a squeeze to wrap up all the stories. Very much like the last time.
You?ve already worked with Jackie Woodburne since Neighbours ended on The Imposter ? which other cast would you like to collaborate with again in the future?
That?s a long list! The great thing about The Imposter is that Jackie is playing a role that is the total opposite of Susan. Wouldn?t it be great to see Stefan or Alan Fletcher (aka Karl) in a new kind of role too?
One of my absolute favourites from over the years is Morgana O?Reilly (aka Naomi Canning), who was recently in The White Lotus. I would love to work with her again.
Which UK soap would you like to work on and why?
EastEnders ? so I can live in London! I have a British passport through my parents but have never put it to use.
Finally, how would you sum up the legacy of Neighbours?
Neighbours changed the landscape of serial television in both Australia and the UK. We had stripped serials down under before, but never with the blend of comedy, romance and drama that Neighbours served up.
The show tapped into something and Home and Away and all the British soaps followed, at least in terms of weekly output.
I?m often told that Neighbours is one of the few shows to retain its original DNA and I like that. We?ve stayed true to our roots but also moved with the times.
I?m personally very proud of how progressive the show has become. Our motto is that everyone is welcome on Ramsay Street and I have tried to stand by that. I thank the fans for sticking with us ? we will always have those memories.

I’m no avid fan (only watch sporadically), and certainly very anti-woke which is clearly the direction Jason Herbison wanted to take the series in, but I have to say I didn’t mind this family in the end. The way the actress who played Cara particularly during the amnesia storyline really landed for me. I’m glad they weren’t just inclusive hires and were genuinely talented actors (which is not usually the case on the show for new talent).
