the secret is that hyde killed her when kim was young she was suffering from depression and one day when hyde returned from work he saw kerry (kims mom) holding kim under the water in the bath thinking kim was dead he held her down in the water but loosed when he heard baby kim cough realising he was alive after all he went to see to kim forgetting all about kerry who ended up drowning he and his sister disposed of the body as they didnt want to see kim grow up without a mom or dad

well i don't think that it was kim's mom as she was depresseed after their other child had died and hyde had always blamed her for it.
