George Clooney has refused to accept a bizarre gift from a dedicated fan.
The Ocean's Twelve actor received a £3,000 red scooter from Italian admirer Rita Bellacosa, who even included a ribbon and a note on the windscreen.
However, Clooney's surprised staff members turned down the gift on his behalf, dispatching it back to the dealer.
"He never accepts presents from strangers - especially not such bizarre ones," one source told The Mirror.
The scooter firm added, "A Rome client paid us to deliver it and we did. Now the machine is hers, I suppose, though there's no answer at her home."
