Excellent drama, Sheridan Smith is outstanding as Ann Ming, mother of Julie Hogg whose killer got away with her murder under the Double Jeopardy law and who campaigned tirelessly for a change of the law and the killer eventually got jailed for the crime.

Excellent drama, Sheridan Smith is outstanding as Ann Ming, mother of Julie Hogg whose killer got away with her murder under the Double Jeopardy law and who campaigned tirelessly for a change of the law and the killer eventually got jailed for the crime.

Completely agree she is one of the very best actresses of today. Also very good in the older show of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and just about everything else she has ever been in.
