it is more the fact that him and Ross are not quite as easy on the eye as they used to be that has left me on the fence (call me shallow!)

At last. I thought I was the only one. I had stopped watching EE because I was sick of hown dumbed down it had become. However with all the hype surrounding the Wedding of the lovely Sharon  to her half brother and the finding of Den's body for the second time I thought I would give it yet another yet another chance. I have watched this weeks three episodes and have honestly to say that I have been totally underwhelmed. Cue overacting all round. A number of points crossed my mind
1. How can Kat Slapper rant so much through clenched teeth
2. Why did Sharon get married in her white slip
3. Why did Chrissie attend in her nightdress
4. How much brown fence paint did she use for her fake tan
Yes I am sick of Kalfie, Shannis et al
And sorry to upset BB but I really think the return of the Mitchells will be another anticlimax. :thumbsdow
Nope, I don't! I'm loving the storyline especially the Chrissie, Jake and Sam. It's the Alfie and Little Mo that's driving me mad.i agree

enjoying this weeks for the first time since feb i've enjoyed a full weeks, except the dreaded alfie trangle hes just had his day boring cant wait for him to go and take kat and johnny with him,and i am not looking forward to the dogger and family to return either
I was really put off Eastenders throughout the Alfie/Mo thing - it just didn't grab me and put me off watching the whole programme. I've really enjoyed the last few but it hacks me off that so many are leaving and people like Peggy, Frank and Phil are coming back (Grant is a different story, cant wait to see him back in it). Peggy, Frank and Phil will no doubt come out with the same old lines as usual. In fact, I know slightly off topic but if Leslie Grantham was sacked due to certain events, why is Steve McFadden still returning? Anyway, sorry went off there for a second, I think they need to concentrate on developing new characters, its feels like a conveyer belt at the moment there.

I got fed up with EE when Jamie died. I'm sorry but I don't see the atraction in the Mitchell family (I can't stand Barbara Windsor never have done, Steve McFadden is just a waste of space, I do like Ross Kemp as an actor but I think he is making a big mistake returning as Grunt). I agree with Sooz they should be bringing in new characters instead of flogging a dead horse with the hope that old characters will save the show.

Why bring them back, they ran the times, when they were here last time. There can't be that many storyline's left for them now.

its the same old thing, you know sharon will snog grant, peggy wil hit the roof and dennis will leave as she isnt the woman she thought, frank will flirt with peggy and mo and we will return to the exact same place ee was years ago, except people will take Phil (i'm well 'ard) mitchell even less seriously after the dogging scandal

watching paint dry is more fun

And so it will continue in six monthly cycles. Still we have the sensational return of Sharon to look forward to after the panto season
