TV star Emma Samms - who played Fallon Carrington Colby in the hit series Dynasty - has been signed up to appear in the BBC daytime soap. She will assume the role of Amanda Clay, a glamorous and mature 40-year-old complementary therapist who has experience in the fields of aromatherapy massage, Reiki healing, Indian head massage and most recently has completed a course in reflexology.
The character has a very active, fun social life but little ambition - she has never had to worry about money. The only thing she needs is her man and although she has agreed to have an ‘open’ relationship with him, she is petrified of losing him emotionally to another woman. But who is her man? Sorry, but you'll have to wait until October to find the answer to that one - my lips are sealed.
