BBC bosses are set to pull Davina McCall’s show from Saturday’s line-up — because the X Factor is thrashing it.
The ITV1 talent show got four times the viewers of He’s Having A Baby — where dads-to-be endure parenting challenges.
Davina’s show — two weeks into a ten-week run — got 1.8million viewers compared to X Factor’s 7.2million.
The 37-year-old Big Brother host now faces the boot from her 6.35pm prime-time slot.
Beeb bosses fear her programme may bomb like ITV’s ill-fated Celebrity Wrestling.
An insider admitted: “There’s no way we want another Celebrity Wrestling on our hands. ITV moved it to Sunday mornings when it became clear it was a sinking ship.
“We can’t keep something with such low ratings in such a prestigious time slot.”
Last night BBC1 controller Peter Fincham said: “It’s only the second week. I’ll give it a few more weeks before making any decision.”
