According to Digital spy Dennis will not be killed off......so what about Sharon

Dennis Rickman will not be killed off when he leaves Albert Square at the end of the year.

According to the Daily Star, Dennis, played by Nigel Harman, will decide to make a new life for himself in the US.

"As far as I know, Dennis Rickman will be left alive - pending a possible return," one source revealed. "If Nigel does not want to come back, then, after a decent interval, the part could be re-cast."

The insider added, "It will become increasingly apparent that Dennis needs to put the UK behind him."

And they might RE CAST HIM how RUDE :angry:

That is not a very nice think to say about someone we here to talk about soap not critcitise people about their acting skills

Also i understand everyone is entitled to their opinion and they are open to critcism because of their job but i think we should be fair :)

At the end of day everyone is human doing a job to the best of their ability and if people kept criticising me i certainly wouldnt like it so that why i dont do it to other people i like to be fair and give credit were it is due

But each to their own everyone has their own opinion and entitle to it :)

i was hoping he'd be killed off so sharon could return in 06 a free woman able to do what she likes rather than be tied to the wannabe hard knock, she could have had sharongate part 2 etc but oh no eastenders have to keep dennis alive!

nigel said he will never return, and would we wont to see someone else play the role of dennis? no! so just get rid of him once and for all!

saying that is phil is going to kill jonny then you cant have 2 murders in such a short space of time

I am glad it was in the daily star because if it was in the sun or daily mirror it make it more offical because i dont really take other newspaper that seriously :hmm:

Also why are they going to recast i thought the character had no were to go with shannis and everything so they all came to mutal decision :hmm:

But i also read in an magazine about when he purposed that in a magazine apparently sharon would never let him go again and she would move heaven and earth to keep him hopefully for ever and ever and we saw at the hen do nothing would ever stop him loving her so she they would need to stay true to that so i am hoping they leave together if anything :lol:

Last night Dennis gave a DNA sample to help identify Den, and as far as I can see it the only thing that would stop Dennis and Sharon being together was if they were really brother and sister.

There seems to have been an awful lot of comments like "Den can't hurt us now" or "there's no way he can come between us" over the past few weeks, and it just makes me suspicious.

I'm probably completely wrong, but I'm very suspicious because how on earth are they going to split them up otherwise? If they do leave together and Dennis makes a new life for himself in the USA then surely it would make sense for Sharon to do the same thing. Her best mate Shell and sister Vicky both live there, and with Den dead there would seem no reason for her to want to return to Walford.

What does everyone else think? :confused:

I am not actually sure den at some point said she 3 year old when she came to them and angie couldnt have kids but i suppose theirs always an affair but i dont know :)

Den really wanted to split them he could of told them before about it but you are right it would put a spanner in the works completely :)

well if dennis isnt being killed off, here are my predictions.....

1. shannis have an arguement one night, sharon then turns to a bottle of gin for comfort, stumbles upon (insert mitchell brother here) procedes to have one night stand, dennis finds out about it and flees walford forever

or (bit less interesting)

2. Sharon cant get over dens death and starts to resent dennis cos he wanted him dead.....hence den causes arguements between them from beyond the grave and eventually splits them up.

I think you're all reading too much into it. I don't think Den comes between them, because he's done all he can and I don't think Sharon has an affair with one of the Mitchells. Reading the comment above it sounds like he's had some sort of mental breakdown... maybe it's not just about Den he needs to forget but they use this opportunity to explore his past and stuff and then... well they put him somewhere lol, a mental institute, anything.

Why on earth do the scriptwriters in Eastenders have every mal-adjusted character go and "find a new life in the US"? Do they know hoe difficult it is to just up and live there? Any normal person who doesn't have a "special ability" cannot do more than spend time there on a 3 month visitors visa. work is out of the question. Just how do people like Dennis, Sharon etc. get to swan off to the US without a by your leave! LOL

yea it wont be the same. and i doubt they'll find any one as good looking as he is... :wub: it'll be quite hard. i wouldnt mind him dying. i mean i would it'll be sad :crying: . but if nigel's positive he's never coming back then i think it'll be ok to kill him off beacuse i wouldnt really want to see the character return with a new face! besides no matter how sad its good tv. look at Jaime, Leo and Tiffany! :crying: sad but good tv :thumbsup:
