Whats your favourite channel and why?

I couldn't put all the popular sky channels on it, because i already had 10 options, thats why ones like living TV and SKY are missed off.

I have to be loyal and say BBC1, as i love holby city, casulty, neighbours and EE (sometimes :p ). Plus my parents worked there :lol:

I chose BBC 1 I don't watch much Tv, but I watch Holby,Casualty,EE and I some times watch films, which is so much better on BBC as the don't cut for the annoying adverts.

my fave is living tv cause it has charmed and will and grace on it ...... closely followed by E4 cause of friends and scrubs and lost

UKTV Gold for me! Would choose BBC, but I begrudge paying the tv licence.

BBC 1 for me, well just because everything i watch is mostly on BBC1, but other favs are ITV1,BBC3, UKTV Gold

Desperate Housewives
Lost
Without a Trace
Will and Grace
Big Brother
The Sopranos
No Angels
The OC.

Best shows. Although ITV has some great Dramas.

Id go with Channel 4 its pretty good for drama and comedy, I like lots of sky channels too.I think BBC1 has gone downhill so much

i like channel 4 and e4. But i am getting into UKTV gold as its good to watch some of the real classic episodes of ee and casualty.

Yeah most things i watch are on BBC1 so i'd say it's my favourite but the best bit is no adverts :cheer:

i have to say i love BBC1 even though i do like the other channels its just that i have watched BBC1 ever since i was little because of eastenders lol!!!

BBC 1 for me, i love it. I watch all my fave shows on it, i watch it everyday basically there is always something for me to watch on BBC1.

I watch on BBC1, the BBC news, Eastenders, What not to wear, Who do you think you are, Doctor who (when its on), water loo road (when it was on), Life on mars (and its comng back, yes), Spooks, Hustle, Friday night with Johnathan ross, Graham norton, Strictly come dancing, Look north etc. BBC all the way!! And best of all no ADVERTS!!

:angry: ITV for me. I really detest the way the BBC waste the Television Licence money. I hate its political correctness. Of course there are some grat programmes produced by the Beeb just as the are some rubbish ones produced by ITV. If ITV makes a crap programme then the advertisers will not pay to have an advert on during it. The beeb can make rubbish programmes content in the knowledge that the government will throw huge sums of money at it from the Licence Payers:angry:

this might be a bit off topic and a bit of a blonde question but how come you cant opt out of paying the licence and not have the bbc channels?

id say ch4 is the best channel. we only have the 5 channels at home anyway and i only watch bbc1 and ch, but i watch more on ch4 than bbc1

I will stay loyal to my Irish station RTE 2.. it has it all. H&W, first showing of Lost and Scrubs, The simpsons

Other than that it would be BBC for EE and Living TV for the rest of my viewing

SHAME on me, I totally forgot to put Shamless down, another superb drama and another great reason why Channel 4 is the best channel on the box

I don't know, you see i do like C4 and it's right there behind BBC1 for me but i don't watch it as much these days, only for hollyoaks but i am sick of the endless repeats of friends (which i don't find funny anyway), Deal or no deal has gone quite stale these days as well, no BB!!:mad:

I love LivingTV, E4 and Reality TV. But I usually just watch the music channels cos I hate adverts.

I dont know. i agree all the channels have their own good programs. I know what my least favourite channel is sky one. Beacuse it steals the good programs from free or almost free channels such as freview ones) and then makes it so I cant watch them for ages. Take 24 and lost for example. sky has more money to blow on poaching the good programs from the tv channels which cant afford to pay as much.
