In late 2024, they announced that as part of Ian Smith's exit (for health reasons) storyline, Harold would see a woman who looked very much like his late wife, Madge - with Anne Charleston returning to the show for a brief stint.

I understand that the familiar face JJ encounters will indeed be Anne Charleston in a new role/different character as Agnes. JJ takes her on a tour of Eirene Rising, where Harold will come face-to-face with her. There aren't any other details about 'Agnes' at this stage.

To celebrate 40 years of Neighbours, the series
delivers a week jam-packed with drama, love and suspense when a warehouse filled with Ramsay Street residents is set ablaze. Who will make it out alive?

Once again, Max's (Ben Jackson) past comes back to haunt him when a criminal underworld figure, Carter (Linc Hassler), finds his location and plots a revenge attack. Max has been in hiding to protect himself and his loved ones from Carter, and while he recently escaped being captured, Carter and his henchmen are still lurking close by.

Meanwhile, police officer Andrew (Lloyd Will) thinks the best way to lure Carter out of hiding is with a sting, using Max as bait.

Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) tells Roxy (Zima Anderson) about the sting.

Unbeknown to her, Lachie (Jack Hayes), who is one of Carter's undercover heavies, is eavesdropping. Innocently, she loops him into their alternative plot for how the sting will go.

As Roxy and Max plan his next move from a garage by torchlight, they have no idea they have been followed by
his enemies.

Just before Lachie and Carter launch into an evil attack, Sadie (Emerald Chan), Byron (Xavier Molyneux) and Nicolette (Hannah Monson) stumble upon the pair.

They embrace in an emotional reunion, happy to see Max is well and hasn't been harmed.

However, the moment of joy is cut short when Lachie throws a Molotov cocktail into the garage, trapping them all and setting the garage alight.

"It happens all too fast," Xavier tells TV WEEK. "The imperative is how do they get out of this alive."

Difficult decisions have to be made
? and fast. As the smoke intensifies and the building around them begins to crumble, Byron has to choose whether
to save his sister, Nicolette, or his girlfriend, Sadie.

"It is a split-second decision but
one he'll pay the price for even if
there was no right choice to be made," Xavier adds.

Neighbours airs nail-biting wedding scenes next week as Leo Tanaka and Krista Sinclair's future hangs in the balance.

The glamorous couple take centre stage in the show's 40th-anniversary episodes, as secrets and lies threaten to destroy their relationship forever.

Leo and Krista have been planning their wedding since getting engaged at Christmas.

This week's episodes see their relationship continue to lurch from one catastrophe to another ? largely thanks to some ruthless scheming from Krista's sister Fallon Morell and best friend Sebastian Metcalfe.

In a big cliffhanger airing this Thursday (March 13), Fallon lies to Krista by falsely claiming to have slept with Leo.

Rather than finding out from Leo whether this is really true, Krista seeks comfort from Sebastian and spends the night with him.

Follow on-scenes next Monday (March 17) explore the aftermath as Krista wakes up on the morning of her wedding with Sebastian in her bed.

Fallon feels terrible as she witnesses the destructive consequences of her actions. She sets the record straight by telling Krista that Leo didn't cheat and it was all a lie.

Krista can't believe what she's hearing as Fallon explains her motivations for causing trouble. She admits that she was once engaged to marry Sebastian and was heartbroken when he broke it off because of his love for Krista.

Plunged into turmoil, Krista questions whether it's the right move to walk down the aisle with Leo after betraying him.

A chat with Paul Robinson helps Krista to put things into perspective, even though Paul doesn't know the full story of what's been going on.

Krista chooses to go ahead with the wedding, which takes centre stage in some big on-location scenes. But with Sebastian still lurking and determined to cause trouble, will the ceremony really go as planned?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, March 17.
