Neighbours airs returns for some fan favourites in the week commencing Monday, March 10.

A new set of spoiler pictures has revealed another comeback stint for Ryan Moloney as Toadie Rebecchi, just in time for the show's 40th anniversary episodes the following week.

Peter O'Brien is also back as Shane Ramsay, who remains involved in his son Max's dangerous storyline. Could this be why he finds himself in a public row with Andrew Rodwell?

Elsewhere, Susan Kennedy, Karl Kennedy and Paul Robinson are pictured back on Ramsay Street following their recent breaks from the show.

When Leo catches Sebastian, Krista and Fallon having a coffee together, he assumes
the worst and snaps - bursting with rage and lunging at Sebastian.

This week in Neighbours, Fallon (Kate Connick) continues her plan to destroy her sister Krista's (Majella Davis) upcoming wedding to Leo (Tim Kano), who she has fallen deeply in love with.

"All his worry about the toxic relationship between Krista and Sebastian comes to a head when he 
sees them together," Tim, 38, tells TV WEEK. "Not his best moment but he has been pushed to the edge."

Fallon knows Leo is wary of his fianc?'s relationship with her ex-addict friend Sebastian (Rarmian Newton), so she organises for Leo to 'accidentally' bump into the three of them having 
a coffee, even though Krista is not supposed to be seeing him.

"Leo is at his wit's end with Sebastian and the hold he seems to have over Krista," Tim reveals. "He is deeply hurt that she is not putting their relationship first."

Lunging towards Seb, Leo makes 
it clear that he is not welcome near his partner, and as Fallon watches 
on in glee, Krista is mortified that her soon-to-be husband has just grabbed someone by the scruff aggressively.

As Fallon's plan to break them up 
falls into place, she confides in Leo about the pain she is suffering from 
her previous relationship to garner sympathy, and plants a seed that 
Krista is not the one for him.

"Leo is clueless to Fallon's ulterior motives and manipulations," Tim says. "Kind-hearted and wanting to be there for Fallon - he knows she is important to Krista - he doesn't connect the dots."

Krista seems oblivious to her sister's plan to take her down, until she sees Fallon in Leo's arms.

Growing suspicious, Fallon then drops a bomb on Krista that pulls her further away from Leo and straight towards 
the bottle to numb the pain. What has Fallon told her that is so devastating?

Neighbours airs a sad return for Susan Kennedy next week as Roxy Willis's cruel scheming gathers pace.

Susan is left questioning her future at Eirini Rising as Roxy's attempts to sabotage her job start to pay off.

Viewers know that Susan left Erinsborough in December to care for her husband Karl, who'd injured himself on a motorbike trip in Italy.

The Kennedys' extended absence ultimately left Terese overwhelmed by the workload at Eirini, so she asked her niece Roxy to fill in for a few weeks.

This week's episodes see Roxy turn ruthless as she decides that she wants the Operations Manager job for herself.

Roxy tries to make Susan look incompetent by switching an entertainment booking she made in favour of a racier act, which causes a stir among the elderly residents.

She also changes a toilet roll order that Susan made, causing chaos as excess stock arrives at the retirement village.

In follow-on scenes next week, Susan decides to resume her role at Eirini Rising earlier than planned as Karl concentrates on his ongoing recuperation at home.

Susan is horrified when Terese mentions the various mistakes that she and Roxy have had to deal with in recent days.

Terese makes it clear that these errors were all made by Susan before she'd left. Even Karl's accident can't be used as an excuse, as Susan wasn't aware of it when she seemingly messed up.

As Susan despairs over the situation, Roxy meanly stirs the pot further by suggesting that the job at Eirini Rising may be too much for her.

Neighbours' Shane Ramsay shares his dark fears for his son Max as he returns to Erinsborough next week.

Shane heads back to Ramsay Street amid rising concerns that Max could have been harmed by the dangerous gangster Carter Haddon.

Viewers recently saw Carter arrange for Sadie Rodwell to be kidnapped from the Back Lane Bar.

Carter then used Sadie's situation as leverage against Max, ordering the terrified mechanic to come with him if he wanted his friend to be returned safely.

Since Max went with Carter, his friends have been receiving messages seemingly from him. The texts have claimed that Max is taking time away and nobody needs to worry.

This week's episodes see the situation begin to change, as Holly Hoyland and Roxy Willis realise that the texts from Max aren't in his usual style. They're disturbed to realise that somebody could be impersonating him.

In follow-on scenes next week, Shane returns to Ramsay Street after being alerted to the worrying situation. Peter O'Brien has reprised the role of Shane for another guest stint.

Shane is keen to investigate Max's whereabouts and he wastes no time before confronting police sergeant Andrew Rodwell.

Andrew becomes annoyed when Shane accuses him of not caring about the situation, and he fires back against the harsh criticism.

Shane later turns to his old friend Jane Harris, admitting that he has a terrible feeling about Max's disappearance.

Meanwhile, Roxy is excited when her friend Lachie pays a surprise visit to Erinsborough. She's unaware that Lachie was lurking suspiciously at the Back Lane Bar when Sadie was abducted recently.

Roxy realises that Lachie has the wrong idea over their relationship, so she takes some advice from her aunt Terese and decides to tell Lachie that she's a married woman.

Lachie takes the rejection well, but promises to stay in town for a while longer.

Roxy is unaware that Lachie is only sticking around in hopes that she'll lead him and Carter to Max, just as she did last time. But if Carter is hunting for Max again, does this mean that he has managed to escape? All will be revealed soon...

Neighbours has revealed a dark new storyline for Karl Kennedy amid his accident recovery.

The character has been off-screen for several months following a motorbike accident abroad, with his wife Susan supporting him.

Both characters are due to return to Ramsay Street next week, where it will be revealed that Karl has a secret dependency on painkillers.

In scenes airing on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 11 and 12), Susan is stressed over her apparent mistakes at work.

While she's been away, Roxy has been deliberately sabotaging Susan's job at Eirini Rising by making her look incompetent as she tries to ruthlessly get the Operations Manager role for herself.

Upon their return, Karl tries to get her to talk to Terese amid her stress, though Roxy's guilt overwhelms her once she is exposed by Aaron, confessing all about her sabotage plans to Susan and Karl, as well as Terese.

Susan tells Roxy she is glad she revealed the truth, though says to Karl that there is no excuse for dishonesty, which makes him feel uneasy.

Later on, Karl apologises for forcing Susan away from her job, though she reassures him and expresses happiness that he is on the mend. However, once her back is turned, we see Karl take a few pain pills.

Karl approaches Remi in the cafe later in the week, and requests a new prescription for painkillers. While Remi agrees, she flags the high dosage, and Karl has an excuse at the ready.

Yet as he supports Toadie, Nell and Terese, Karl pops another pill, showing that his dependence on the drugs is growing.
