Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has confirmed an engagement storyline for Tane Parata and Harper Matheson.

Tane popped the question in Thursday's Australian episode (January 23) after coming under pressure to make a commitment to Harper.

The pair are currently expecting a baby boy together after having a one-night stand a few months ago.

Although both parties are committed to co-parenting together, they've often struggled to define the nature of their own relationship and whether there's a genuine romantic spark between them.

In the show's latest episode on Australia's Channel 7, Harper was discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery to address a small cyst on her unborn baby's lung, which was putting pressure on his organs.

With the medical crisis now resolved, Tane suggested that it was time for him and Harper to have a proper conversation about their future.

Tane wanted to discuss living arrangements once the baby was born, but Harper was secretly disappointed that he made no mention of their own relationship.

In a chat with her sister Dana, Harper explained: "I feel so stupid. After everything that happened, I thought things would be different. When he said he wanted to talk about our future, I thought he meant us as a couple, not as parents.

"He was so amazing at the hospital ? he held my hand, he kept me calm. I really thought that our relationship had turned a corner, but now it's just back to living arrangements and practicalities."

Harper refused to bring this up with Tane, but Dana couldn't resist meddling. She privately warned Tane that Harper fears she'd lose him if they didn't have the baby in the picture.

Desperate to prove that Harper had nothing to worry about, Tane shocked her by proposing.

Next week's Australian episodes see Harper openly question whether Tane is doing this for the right reasons, still suspecting that he's more interested in the baby than their own relationship.

Nevertheless, the couple later announce their engagement news. Is this their happy ending, or a recipe for disaster?

Home and Away has hinted at a possible reunion for Cash Newman and Eden Fowler.

Cash gets a surprise in next week's Australian episodes as Eden moves in for a kiss following his recent ordeal.

The couple have been living separate lives for months, as Cash abruptly ended his relationship with Eden last year.

Cash harshly pushed Eden away following the tragic death of his sister Felicity. He argued that he was "protecting" Eden, as he felt that everyone close to him seems to die.

Months later, Cash struggled to see Eden move on with her new love interest ? counsellor Tim Russell.

Since then, a big new storyline has seen Cash come under suspicion after Tim was violently attacked in the 2024 season finale episode.

Tim's former counselling client Nerida Mullins was the culprit, but Cash is being treated as the prime suspect after being found with blood on his hands at the crime scene.

Recent episodes in Australia have seen Eden devote her time to staying at Tim's hospital bedside, as he's still in a coma following his attack.

Eden confided in her younger sister Abigail about how she wasn't doing this out of love for Tim ? instead, she wanted him to wake up so he could clear Cash's name.

Home and Away's newest trailer has now revealed what's next in this storyline.

As well as previewing the aftermath of Tane Parata proposing to Harper Matheson, the promo teases Cash and Eden's story by saying: "And the biggest shock is yet to come?"

Eden is seen spending time alone with Cash at his place, giving into temptation as she goes in for a kiss. Will Cash respond to her advances?

The storyline revelation received a mixed response on Instagram, with some fans celebrating the possibility of a Cash/Eden reunion and others wondering whether Eden is making a big mistake.

One fan wrote: "Eden taking Cash back after his possessive and manipulative behaviour is so wrong."

A second asked: "Has Eden no pride? All the times Cash rejected her and I knew it was because he was "protecting" her in his mind but there is no way I would be getting back with him!"

However, one supporter celebrated with: "Cash & Eden yay!"

Another added: "Thank goodness Cash and Eden kiss!"

Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in March.

Kirby's fight for what's right turns into an ugly confrontation in Home And Away, when she holds a protest march against Contact Agency - and Leah is arrested!

The dramatic moment plays out in the wake of a strategy meeting with Leah (Ada Nicodemou), Roo (Georgie Parker), Marilyn (Emily Symons) and policewoman Rose (Kirsty Marillier) about how they can publicly out an advertising agency who have used doctored photos of Kirby (Angelina Thomson) and refuse to remove them.

Kirby decided to hold a protest march in front of their offices, to which they all agree to attend. The next day, however, the small gathering erupts into a full-on march as news spreads and social media is flooded. With her adrenaline pumping, Leah walks the streets, relishing in the cause - even when Rose arrives in uniform to shut it down.

?I really think that this protest has ignited something in Leah that she didn?t know was there for years,? Ada tells TV WEEK. "She has felt silenced both as a woman and also as a Greek Cypriot woman who has never felt that she fitted in, and I think she's sticking up for all women who feel like that or all minority groups."

Leah and Kirby push back against Rose's orders, outraged she's stopping them after attending the strategy meeting in the first place. When the policewoman calls for backup, Leah grabs a can of spray paint and vandalises one of the Contact Agency vans!

"She really believes she's doing the right thing and if that means getting arrested so be it," Ada says. "She's not thinking about the consequences."

And consequences follow swiftly with Leah arrested for vandalism and the entire gang thrown into a police van for inciting a protest. Suddenly the agency could be the least of their concerns...
