Former Coronation Street star Rhea Bailey has landed herself a new role in fellow ITV soap Emmerdale.
The actor's talent agency posted that Bailey was filming in the Dales, but didn't reveal what role she would be playing.
Bailey is known for playing Caz Hammond in Corrie. Appearing in 72 episodes across 2015 and 2016, Caz's storylines saw her have a speedy engagement to Kate Connor, before setting her sights on Maria Connor.
When Maria turned down her romantic advances, due to being straight, Caz tried to impersonate Maria through credit card fraud and then contrived a series of events to make it looked like Maria had attacked her, causing the police to launch an investigation into a possible murder.
Caz went missing, but continued to spy on Maria's flat with a webcam. Kate realised this, and made a plan to lure Caz out, which was when the police arrested her.
Beyond Corrie, Bailey has also appeared in The Bill, Doctors, Waterloo Road, Hetty Feather, and Girlfriends.
Meanwhile, Emmerdale is kicking off the week of Tom King's hour-long trial today, and the episode that's available to stream now has shown that he's going to try and manipulate Belle until the very last minute.
