Eve Unwin (played by Heather Pearce) returns to Albert Square

But where do things stand between Eve and her lady love, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal)?

It looked like their engagement was OFF after Eve discovered the truth about Suki's involvement in the murder of Keanu Taylor at the Queen Vic last Christmas Day.

At first, it looks like nothing has changed between the women when Eve and Suki have a tense exchange at the Panesar house.

But after a heart-to-heart with her now ex-wife, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Eve is encouraged to give Suki another chance.

At the annual switch-on of the Christmas lights in Albert Square, will Eve and Suki officially kiss and make-up?

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyat) takes charge of the Christmas lights switch-on for the residents of Albert Square.

Ian asks his fiancee, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), to help him prepare for the evening festivities.

But she soon gets distracted by her SECRET lover, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), again!

However, while Cindy sneaks off to hook-up with Junior again, she is unaware that Ian has taken on more than he can handle.

Suddenly he is struck by terrible chest pain...

As the reality of the situation sinks in, Jean's daughter Stacey urges her to get the Police involved.

But will an embarrassed and humiliated Jean take Stacey's advice?

Elsewhere, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) struggles to get into the Christmas spirit.

Things look even bleaker when she learns about her sexual assailant, Pastor Clayton's funeral following his death by suicide last month...

Surely it's only a matter of time before cheating Cindy Beale's (played by Michelle Collins) affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) is fully exposed

While Cindy is busy getting passionate with SECRET lover Junior again, her unsuspecting fiance, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyat), is rushed to hospital with terrible chest pain...

Ian's mum, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), blames Cindy for stressing him out in the lead-up to Christmas.

There's certainly never been any love lost between Kathy and Cindy over the years!

But Cindy remains worried that Junior's uncle, Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), will soon spill the beans on her affair after seeing the lovers together.

Cindy confesses to Junior the circumstances surrounding Kojo's EMERGENCY hospital dash.

Junior decides to visit his uncle in hospital to find out what Kojo intends to do about what he knows...

It looks like Suki Panesar (Bavinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Pearce) are back on track after their romantic show of unity at the Christmas lights switch-on.

The women are a vision of happiness as they agree to set their wedding plans in motion again.

With Eve agreeing to keep fiancee Suki's involvement in Keanu Taylor's murder a secret, now they can plan a happy future together.

Or can they?

Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is relieved when she's told by a solicitor that they can help get her money back.

So maybe Jean won't have to tell her fella, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), about her financial troubles after all?

Also, Mo Harris (Laila Morse) has a money-making idea for the Bridge Street market traders.

Which will surely involve something dodgy!

Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyat) should probably know by now that Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is not to be trusted

After all, this is the same woman who got pregnant after an affair with Ian's adoptive brother, Simon Wicks, years ago.

And later hired a hitman to shoot Ian!

Before going on the run...

In the present day, Cindy and her SECRET lover, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), can't keep their hands off each other.

All the while, Cindy's unsuspecting fiance Ian is just looking forward to a nice family Christmas.

Despite all their past baggage, Ian truly believes that Cindy is a changed woman.

Things get steamy again between Cindy and Junior at his flat.

And it looks like the businessman may be developing real feelings for lover Cindy when he gives her an expensive gift.

But later back at the Beale house, Ian is alarmed when he accidentally discovers the jewellery box in Cindy's pocket...

Ian knows that he didn't give Cindy the gift.

Will she be able to talk her way out of trouble again?

Or is Ian one step closer to exposing her affair with Junior?

Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is getting back into the festive spirit now that it looks like her money troubles are going to be solved by a solicitor.

However, Jean's daughter Stacey (Lacey Turner) is worried it may not be quite as simple as that.

So she asks DI Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to investigate...

Recovering alcoholic Linda has since relapsed and starting drinking again this year.

Particularly in the aftermath of the SHOCK events at the Vic last Christmas Day, when Linda fatefully stabbed Keanu Taylor, to protect her bestie, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean)...

The women of Walford aka "The Six" later covered-up their crime...

Linda's good friend, Alfie Moon (Shane Ritchie), is concerned when he sees the pub landlady downing a large glass of wine in the Vic.

Is everything alright with Linda?

How will she react if Alfie challenges her about her drinking?

What is it with Sharon and the Mitchell men?

Sharon is keeping it in the family as things heat-up between her and ex-husband Phil's cousin, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian).

Sharon and Teddy meet-up for a date night.

Unfortunately, things don't go as planned and Sharon asks Teddy to leave...

Meanwhile, Teddy's ex-wife, Nicola (Laura Doddington), is clearly not happy to see his relationship with Sharon take shape.

EastEnders? Ian Beale is to make an alarming discovery about Cindy, after he suffers a major health scare.

Cindy has been hiding a lot from her fianc?, as this year she embarked on a scandalous affair with Junior Knight, the son of her ex-husband George.

What?s more, last month she also admitted to David Wicks that her heart really lies with George ? in a recorded conversation that is set to be exposed this Christmas.

Cindy and Junior?s affair looked to be over when she ended things after Ian?s proposal. But it seems that things are back on, and this week Kojo discovers their secret relationship.

A shocking incident will result in Kojo being rushed to hospital, and in scenes that will air next week, Cindy finds out that he is being woken from his coma ? suggesting that the situation gets very serious.

Meanwhile, a still oblivious Ian takes charge of Walford?s annual Christmas lights switch-on, and he asks Cindy to help him prepare for the festivities that evening.

It appears that Ian has taken on too much with planning the event, and he is struck down with chest pain at home, with Kathy calling an ambulance. There is reason to be concerned, as last year Ian suffered a sudden heart attack.

While Ian is fine, the doctor tells him to take it easy, and Kathy is convinced that Cindy is to blame for his increased stress levels.

Cindy also arrives at the hospital ? but to see Kojo, as she isn?t aware of what has happened to Ian.

She later comes clean to Junior and admits that Kojo has discovered their affair. She begs him to help keep Kojo quiet, so Junior decides to pay his own visit to the hospital to see his uncle.

The next day, Ian chooses not to tell Cindy about his health scare the previous evening, even though Kathy thinks this is a bad idea.

Elsewhere, Cindy and Junior have a steamy encounter at his flat, but she quickly leaves when Junior gives her a sweet gift.

She forgets to hide this present, as back at home, Ian is alarmed when he discovers a jewellery box in Cindy?s pocket.

How will Cindy explain this, and will Ian find out the truth?

Ian takes charge of planning for Walford's Christmas lights switch-on, but becomes stressed over his responsibilities and starts to suffer chest pains. Kathy is alarmed and calls him an ambulance.

Doctors at the hospital warn Ian that he needs to take it easy, but Kathy argues that Cindy is the cause of his stress.

At the same time, Cindy has another tryst with Junior and soon learns that Kojo is being brought out of his coma. She decides to visit Kojo in hospital.

Meanwhile, Eve returns to Walford and makes amends with Stacey, who advises her to sort things out with Suki too. When Eve and Suki do come face-to-face, the conversation doesn't go well and Eve storms out. Later, things improve when Eve makes a bold gesture at the Christmas lights switch-on.

Elsewhere, Jean feels helpless after being scammed over her savings.

Also today, Yolande discovers details about Pastor Clayton's funeral, Lauren and Peter try to put last week's events behind them, and Mo causes a stir by trying to sell Christmas goods at the market without a licence.

She asks for his help in keeping Kojo quiet, so Junior heads to the hospital to speak to him.

Meanwhile, Suki and Eve couldn't be happier as they enjoy their reunion and try to get their wedding plans back on track. The couple hope things will run smoothly from now on ? but is this wishful thinking?

Elsewhere, Ian defies Kathy's wishes by hiding last night's events from Cindy.

Also today, a solicitor promises Jean that they can get her money back, Harvey inspires Mo with a money-making idea, and Chelsea and Patrick try to convince Yolande to attend Jordan's Christingle service.
