Jane McDonald is my favourite.
Katie Price is being lined up for a presenting role on Loose Women, a report has claimed.
The ITV1 show's producers are currently looking for a new anchor following Jackie Brambles's decision to quit.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, bosses have already approached Price with a deal which would see her sharing hosting duties with Fern Britton.
The 31-year-old glamour model has rarely been out of the headlines in recent months due to her high-profile split from husband Peter Andre.
A source commented: "Katie is ITV through and through. She gave her first interview after the marriage split to Piers Morgan on ITV and she's been a smash on ITV2 with her various shows with Peter."
The insider added: "In many ways, Katie is the opposite of Fern Britton and would certainly mix things up. Fern's close to agreeing to sharing the job with someone and it's looking like that someone is Katie."
Price is also said to be considering adopting an orphan after losing Andre's baby earlier this year.

I think she would be great on there
I think they'd both be good on the show. I might actually watch it now and again if Fern presented. The other women do my nut in.
Shes gonna be a guest on it tomorrow

Loose Women is my guilty pleasure. Wouldn't want Katie Price on it though.
I must be the only one who can't stand any of the panel. They're like a bunch of old women gossiping.
ITV has confirmed that Kate Thornton is to co-present Loose Women when the chatshow returns in September.

Seeing Katie Price in the same title as Loose Women made me giggle a little especially when we see todays papers of her new romance with Alex Reid so soon after her interview setting the record straight on rumours surrounding her marriage. She has moved on quickly, but then again I'm not surprised!

I have watched the show a few times when I have been off sick or had a day off from work and I hate the show format too. They never talk about anything constructive. Instead the panel comes across as a bunch of older jealous women with nothing to do then to bitch about other people :(

Spice Girl Mel B is joining the panel of the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women, it has been confirmed.
The34-year-old, originally from Leeds but now based in Los Angeles, will appear as a guest presenter on the programme next month.
She will make her appearance for a week, starting on September 14.
The singer - real name Melanie Brown - will follow in the footsteps of former bandmate Emma Bunton, who has previously appeared on the show.

CILLA Black is on the Loose to make her TV comeback this Friday.
Cilla, 66, will host ITV lunchtime show Loose Women alongside favourites Sherrie Hewson, Carol McGiffin and Jane McDonald. Her best pal Christopher Biggins will be a guest.
It will be her first presenting role on ITV since Blind Date ended in 2003.
ITV daytime chief Fiona Keenaghan said: "I am delighted Cilla will be joining us for the day."

Aww yay, I will have to watch this :D
Jane McDonald has announced that she is taking a break from the next series of Loose Women.
The singer confirmed her decision to leave the lunchtime show due to her "hectic" schedule.
"I have been a regular presenter on the show for the past 7 years and I just felt that maybe it was time I gave everyone a break!!" she wrote on her official website.
"I absolutely love the show (of course I do!!) and I will miss everyone connected with it enormously but I really feel it is time I took a sabbatical."
In an official statement McDonald added: "I have had an absolute ball over the last six years and am going to miss everyone so much. But don't worry when it’s calmed down a bit i'll be back!
The 47-year-old said that she will continue to tour with her music.
"With a UK and Australia tour, filming a dvd and recording a single and an album there just isn't enough time to do everything!"
She added: "I will (of course) still be appearing in concert through-out the UK this year, and next year with my new 2011 show and I look forward to continually seeing you all there and having a chat (so don't panic.. you will still be seeing and hearing lots from me!!)."
Sarah Millican has signed up to become a panellist on Loose Women.
The comedian will make her first appearance on the show when it returns from its Christmas break in January.
In her role on the panel, Millican will give viewers her opinions on the topics of the day.
Appearing as a guest on today's edition of Loose Women, she said: "I'm thrilled to be joining an esteemed panel of loose ladies. From someone that was a prude as a teenager, it's nice to finally become a loose woman! I get my own mug with my name on as well! I'm told it's already been ordered - it's just a mug but I'm really excited."
Millican won the 'Best Newcomer' award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 and has appeared on shows including Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Bubble.
She also hosts the Radio 4 series Sarah Millican's Support Group and is a regular guest on Chris Addison's Radio 5 Live show 7 Day Sunday.
She is great, very funny lady :D

ITV is kicking off a major rejig of Loose Women in a move that sees Coleen Nolan OUT after eleven years.
The ex-singer will leave at the end of this series in early summer in a decision described by the channel as "by mutual consent".
Coleen, 46, is the longest-serving Loose Woman – having joined shortly after the show's launch in 2000.
Following her departure, ITV will revamp the show with a new set and permanent faces – motormouth Janet Street-Porter, 64, and Geordie comic Sarah Millican.
A show source said: "Loose Women is one of ITV's most popular daytime shows so we owe it to the audience to keep it fresh. We're revamping it for the autumn, so as part of that we're having some new regular presenters.
"Sarah has been brilliant when she has been on and, let's face it, Janet is ideal for a show like Loose Women.
"We don't want the show to go stale so it was time for a refresh. We reached the decision with Coleen by mutual consent and she has lots of other projects she wants to work on."
Fiona Keenaghan, Creative Director of ITV Daytime and Lifestyle, said: "We have loved working with Coleen for the last ten years and can't thank her enough for the huge contribution she has made to the success of Loose Women.
"She remains part of the ITV daytime family and we look forward to working with her on other projects."
Coleen, part of girl group The Nolans with her sisters in the 80s, has recently started presenting This Morning again and stood in for Dancing on Ice star Holly Willoughby when she was ill last month.
She recently published a book lifting the lid on the TV business. Coleen said: "There is sexism and huge pressure to look good."
The Loose Women overhaul comes as ITV's other daytime offering Daybreak is struggling with just 800,000 viewers a day.
The Sun
Denise Welch doesn't think Coleen Nolan will be replaced on 'Loose Women'.
The actress - who is a regular panellist on the daytime TV show - is sad her friend is quitting the programme but she doesn't think someone will take her place full-time.
Denise said: "I've known she's been ready to leave for a while. She lives five miles from me so I'll still see her socially. She'll be a loss to the show, but it won't make a difference to our friendship.
"I don't think they will replace her. They are constantly trying new people out. I love Sarah [Millican, the comedian]. The producers have to try to keep things fresh.
One guest host Denise wouldn't be keen to see is Katie Price.
The 52-year-old blonde thinks the former glamour model would be too difficult to manage to be a regular contributor, and she also thinks Carol McGiffin wouldn't be too happy working with her.
When asked what she would do if Katie joined the 'Loose Women' team, Denise told new! magazine: "Oh God, I don't think Carol would last long if she came on the panel. I can't say I would! I think she may be too high maintenance!"
Carol clashed with Katie during an appearances on 'Loose Women' in July 2009 when she refused to talk about her split from Peter Andre.
Carol said to her: "Most people are not interested in your book - they're interested in what's going on with you."

ITV has defended afternoon discussion programme Loose Women amid claims of a ratings crisis.
Viewing figures have reportedly fallen as low as 700,000, prompting concern that the format is growing "tired", according to The Sun.
The series, which is anchored by Kate Thornton and Andrea McLean, features a team of regular panelists including Coleen Nolan, Carol McGiffin, Denise Welch and newest recruit Janet Street-Porter.
After falling from two million viewers for an episode in January, the Loose Women team have allegedly been warned that the daily one-hour show could face the axe if things do not improve.
While changes including a new set and improved content are planned, ITV has denied that they are because of the slump.
However, a spokeswoman defended the ratings claim: "The average audience for Loose Women so far this year is 1.2 million, which is in line with the performance for [the] same period for the last five years."
Kate Thornton has reportedly been axed as the host of Loose Women.
The presenter, who joined the show two years ago, will not return after the show's summer break.
Zoe Tyler, who has been a panellist for four years, will also exit the ITV1 programme as producers deal with a huge slump in ratings.
"'Kate and Zoe have been fantastic on Loose Women," an ITV spokeswoman told The Mail on Sunday. "We've really enjoyed working with them and look forward to working with them again in the future."
A show source added: "Contracts were signed on Friday and all the panellists who are returning have been spoken to. There will be some changes and it is true that Kate and Zoe will not be coming back in September."
Lynda Bellingham, Denise Welch, Lisa Maxwell and Carol McGiffin will all return as panelists, while former weathergirl Andrea McLean will remain in her role as anchor.
Coleen Nolan has already announced that she is leaving Loose Women to "move on to new adventures". Three newcomers are now expected to join the show.
Sarah Millican, who joined the panel at the beginning of the year, is said to be unsure of her return due to other commitments.
Thornton, who confirmed her split from fiancé Darren Emerson on Loose Women in February, was famously axed from The X Factor in 2007 and replaced with Dermot O'Leary.
FUNNYGIRLS Dawn French and Caroline Aherne and ex-Corrie fave Sally Lindsay are three of the stars being wooed by bosses desperate to save ITV’s daytime chat show, Loose Women.
Regular anchor Kate Thornton, 38, and panellist Zoe Tyler, 41, were axed last week, and producers want to replace them with stars to reverse the ratings slide.
Dawn, 53, Caroline, 47 and Sally, 37, are vying with former Countdown host Carol Vorderman, 50, and Men Behaving Badly star Caroline Quentin, 51, for prestigious spots on the daily lunchtime chat show.
Secret contract talks with the five have taken place over the past six weeks, and ITV bosses are believed to be less than 24 hours from reaching a decision.
The plan is to have the two new faces installed behind the Loose Women desk in September, when the show returns after its summer break.
An insider said: “With a show like Loose Women, it’s important to keep refreshing the feel of the programme to keep viewers interested.
“Over the last few months there has been a bit of a downwards trend with ratings, and it’s important to address that issue as quickly as possible – we’re hoping some big new stars could excite viewers.
“We’ve whittled the list down to five potential panellists who are all big names and very popular with viewers.
“They’ve all got different personalities and senses of humour, it’s important to get the dynamic right across the panel.
“Hopefully, a couple of seriously big names can put a stop to the decline, and these would be the perfect candidates for that.”
Viewing figures have plummeted from two million a day in January to just 700,000 as viewers complained the show has grown “stale”, and the addition of Sarah Millican and Janet Street-Porter earlier this year has failed to turn it around.
An ITV spokeswoman confirmed the decision to axe Kate and Zoe, saying: “They have been fantastic Loose Women. We’ve really enjoyed working with them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Earlier this year long-serving show favourite Coleen Nolan announced her decision to step down from the show, in order to concentrate on new TV projects.
The 46-year-old, who is also The Mirror’s agony aunt, will leave the show during the summer break, while new host Sarah Millican is still in negotiations with studio bosses over her other work commitments. A decision on the 36-year-old comic’s future will be made shortly.
However Lynda Bellingham, 63, Lisa Maxwell, 47, Denise Welch, 53, Andrea McLean, 41, and Carol McGiffin, 51, have all signed new deals to remain on the panel when the show returns in September.

i liked her as well. Be interesting to see Caroline Ahern
Sally Lindsay has vowed not to divulge her bedroom secrets on Loose Women - but says she's happy to discuss other people's sex lives.
The former Corrie star will join the panel of the straight-talking ITV show when it returns in September, and Sally insists she won't be getting too personal.
She told the Daily Mirror: "I was brought up a Catholic and while I don't have any problem discussing sex and relationships, I won't be talking about my own.
"I'm not a prude but I intend to leave it to the other girls to go into detail about their personal lives. But, of course, a few weeks on the show might change that."
Meanwhile Mount Pleasant star Sally, who is mum to twin boys with her partner Steve White, revealed Luther heartthrob Idris Elba would her dream guest on the show.
She added: "I'd love to interview him on the show... but then again I might get all flushed and tongue-tied, which isn't ideal, is it?"

Zoe Tyler has revealed that she plans to give up alcohol after being axed from Loose Women.
The singer, who has been a panellist on the chatshow for four years, filmed her last episode yesterday.
Tyler is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Firstly, I'm going to go and cleanse my liver. I'm not loose anymore, I'm attached to a new man. I've learnt again how to be in a relationship. But I've been a single mum for eight years like so many out there."
The 41-year-old and host Kate Thornton will be replaced by Carol Vorderman and former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay in September.
Tyler recently said that she was "shocked" to be axed from the show.
Loose Women has suffered poor ratings so far this year, with viewing figures falling as low as 700,000.
Never been Carol Vorderman's greatest fan but when there is a good looking guy on Loose Women when she is hosting the show, she behaves like a bi**h on heat. Grow up, woman, you are over 50, not a teenager
Natalie Cassidy has revealed she is to become a regular on the Loose Women panel.
The former EastEnders actress' first appearance will be on Friday alongside Carol Vorderman, Carol McGriffin and and Lisa Maxwell.
The 28-year-old said her appearance in Celebrity Big Brother this year had thrown her back into the spotlight

'Ever since Celebrity Big Brother people have been tweeting that they'd love to see me as a Loose Woman and now it's happening,' she told the Daily Mirror.
'I can be very opinionated.'
Natalie has fielded several messages of congratulations on Twitter from fans since the news broke.
She replied: 'Evening all.. Thank-you for all your great comments re. @loosewomen So excited about Friday, my chance to get loud and loose! X'

And to one friend she wrote: 'Let's hope I impress!'
Meanwhile, ITV bosses are thought to be looking for last minute replacements for the panel after Jane McDonald and Janet Street-Porter were diagnosed with shingles.
They may need to take up to a month off.
Denise Welch may also take a break from the show to concentrate on her role in the stage version of Steel Magnolias.
She said recently: 'I feel like I keep trying to juggle everything and I'm dropping things now and then. It's been really tough.'

Gobby Carol, currently in Celebrity Big Brother, admitted she became bored with talking about herself
Sunday People columnist Carol McGiffin is giving up her day job on Loose Women, we can reveal.
Our Woman on the Loose filmed her last shows in June after spending more than a decade on the lunchtime talking shop.
Gobby Carol, currently in Celebrity Big Brother, admitted she became bored with talking about herself.
She said: "When the show returns for its 18th series, I will no longer be on the panel.
"I'm sure some of you will rejoice but those who might be so pleased deserve some sort of explantation.
"I'd been thinking about it for at least a year. It seems mad to quit one of the best jobs in the world - you talk for an hour with like-minded women and get paid.
"But I felt I'd completely plundered my private life and exhausted my repertoire of anecdotes to the point of boring myself."
Carol was the longest-serving panel member, appearing in 1,172 episodes. She said highlights included having Bryan Ferry and Robbie Williams perform on the showand visiting the set of her favourite show Benidorm.
She added: "I had so many laughs, made so many friends. It's been such a big part of my life."
Sunday Mirror
Denise Welch has quit Loose Women after ten years due to recent changes made to the show.
The actress decided to leave the series on Friday evening following a meeting with ITV's new director of daytime Helen Warner about the return of Coleen Nolan and Kaye Adams.
It was announced last week that the two former panellists would be returning to Loose Women later this month.
"Yes, I've quit. I was hurt that changes were made and kept a secret, and that the person responsible for the decisions hadn't come and talked to me about it," Welch told the Sunday Mirror.
"She must have known how I felt. When you have invested ten years in a job our views should mean something and our feelings should be taken into account.
"Every show needs a shake-up. But the way the show's going I've felt that my wings have been clipped. Fundamentally the fun of the show is what made it for me, and I feel the way it's going is losing the fun of it."
The former Coronation Street star added: "People forget I'm an award-winning actress. It's important to me that I remind people of that."
Welch's exit follows the departure of fellow longtime panellist Carol McGiffin, who announced that she was quitting during her stint on Celebrity Big Brother in August.
Welch was most recently seen on ITV celebrity dancing show Stepping Out with husband Lincoln Townley. She won the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.

Popstar Jamelia is the latest addition to the Loose Women panel lineup, it has been revealed.
The singer's first show will air on Wednesday (November 27).
"I'm absolutely chuffed to become a Loose Woman!" said Jamelia.
"I'm really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and feisty opinions with the other women and the viewers, and can't wait to get my teeth into some great debates and to discuss issues that really matter."
Earllier, this year Jamelia appeared as a regular on BBC panel show I Love My Country.
The Loose Women panel has been rejigged over recent months with former regulars Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, Coleen Nolan and Kaye Adams all returning.

She's obviously incredibly stupid. Does she think having even more difficulty buying clothes is going to make people who already spend their lives struggling more likely to lose weight? The opposite would happen as stress increases weight problems. :wall:

What did she say?
http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/plus-size-clothes-should-not-5559151
Jamelia told Loose Women viewers she believes that plus size clothes should only be available in specialist shops.
She thinks that high street stores are helping to promote an unhealthy image if they sell trendy clothes in bigger sizes.
The former pop star said: "I think everyone should have access to lovely clothes, BUT I do not think it's right to facilitate people living an unhealthy lifestyle.
"I don't believe stores should stock clothes below or above a certain weight. They should be made to feel uncomfortable when they go in and can't find a size."
The comments came after the Loose Women were discussing whether plus-sized clothing should be marketed towards overweight teenagers.

Why the hell shouldn't plus-sized clothes be marketed towards overweight teenagers? Don't they deserve to feel nice too? It's an appalling and ignorant attitude.
There are many reasons for being overweight - it's a very complex issue - and demonising and shaming people only makes matter worse, as detailed in this (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2866597) scientific paper from the US:
An accumulation of evidence demonstrates that weight stigma invokes psychological stress and emerging research suggests that this stress leads to poor physical health outcomes for obese individuals.
Another study detailed on the BBC (http://www.bbc.com/news/health-29155765) website:
In a study of nearly 3,000 adults over four years, those who said they had experienced weight discrimination put on more weight than those who did not.
There's plenty of evidence that the overuse of antibiotics and all the endocrine disruptor chemicals we're exposed to nowadays have played a big part in the worsening health (including weight problems) of the western world. It's a far more complex problem than just "unhealthy lifestyles" - which plenty of thin people lead too.
So of course, not allowing teenagers, who probably already have poor self-esteem, easy access to decent clothes will solve these problems!!! :wall:
Edited to add: you set me off again Lizann! :o
sorry dazzle but does she not think how her comments affect young or old people who are overweight don't make them feel good
as someone myself who struggles with weight problems and also one of nieces was bullied on line on social media I find her comments utter trash and disgusting:nono:
sorry dazzle
Don't be, I was only joking about my tendency to rant about things I feel strongly about. :ninja:

They are indeed.
I have weight problems too, as do many women I know. It's extremely hurtful to hear remarks like Jamelia's, especially when most overweight people struggle and feel depressed about it every single day already. Teenagers, who are a self-conscious bunch anyway, are particularly affected by weight stigma. :(
I'm really sorry to hear about your niece being bullied - that's really awful. I hope she's feeling a bit better about things now. Far too much importance is placed on the shallow ideal of a perfect body nowadays. :wall:
thanks dazzle my niece is better now she stays off social media these days and of course my brother wanted to settle it all with his fists against everyone ranting mad making matters worse but all ok now, she is happy with herself but comments like jamelia shows ignorance and disgust on her part for the issue
Katie Price is set to become a permanent feature of the ‘Loose Women’ panel after ITV confirmed the star will be joining the show in the New Year.
And the former glamour model has promised to be ‘the most outspoken of them all’ when she takes her seat from Tuesday 5 January.
Katie announced her latest role in a video clip dressed as the Wicked Fairy from her recent panto performance of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and warns: “Love rats watch out! Badly-behaved celebs beware, because it’s all about opinion and I’m won’t be holding back.”
She adds: “The Pricey’s always right! See you in January.”
Great Britain, you have been warned.
Katie is no stranger to the ‘Loose Women’ panel, having appeared as a guest panelist in the past.
In her latest TV role, the 37-year-old will appear once a week to debate the stories of the day, alongside her fellow ‘Loose Women’ co-hosts.
“I'm so excited to be joining the Loose Women panel in January,” Katie said. “I’ve always been a huge fan of the show because it’s about real female opinions. I’m joining a fantastic team and, as usual, I won’t be holding anything back.”
Sally Shelford, Editor of ‘Loose Women’, added: "Katie Price has all the ingredients of a brilliant Loose Women panelist: she’s frank, feisty and not afraid to voice her opinions, together with being a successful businesswoman and inspiring mum. The Loose Women team can’t wait to welcome her as an official presenter in the New Year.”
Katie's signing to the daytime show comes just days after it was confirmed that Vicky Pattison had also been snapped up to join the ‘Loose Women’ panel.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ champ delighted fans when she confirmed the rumours, tweeting: “The cat is out the bag... I'm so Thrilled to announce that I will be joining the amazing loose women team with this bunch of sorts! So happy to be joining ITV.
