Emmerdale airs marriage trouble for Nicola and Jimmy King next week as they struggle to agree over Tom.

Nicola finds herself at odds with Jimmy after noticing several tell-tale signs suggesting that Tom can't be trusted.

In upcoming scenes, Nicola realises that her young stepson Carl seems scared and uncomfortable around Tom.

This follows Tom threatening Carl over his missing tablet computer, which he was desperate to retrieve as it contained damning evidence proving his abuse of wife Belle.

Next week, Nicola tries to gently quiz Carl on why he's upset with Tom. However, just when it seems like Carl might share the details, the scared schoolboy spots Tom arriving home and clams up.

Nicola is frustrated that Carl can't be honest with her, so she realises that she'll have to change tactics.

In a phone call with Jimmy, Nicola shares her belief that Carl's strange moods are all down to Tom.

Her detective work continues when she spots the radio-controlled car that Tom tried to bribe Carl with, which is now in the bin.

Nicola quizzes Carl on where the expensive toy came from, but he remains reluctant to tell her the truth.

Finally losing patience, Nicola turns her scrutiny in Tom's direction and demands to know what's going on.

Tom tries his best to cover up his lies, and Jimmy is concerned to hear Nicola turning on a member of their own family.

Nicola refuses to back down and threatens Tom with the police. Can Tom find a way to wriggle out of her accusations?

Emmerdale will air these scenes on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 on ITV1.

Emmerdale's Billy Fletcher faces a terrifying situation next week after signing up for another unlicensed boxing match.

The personal trainer defies warnings from Mackenzie Boyd and Aaron Dingle by getting involved in another high-stakes fight.

Earlier this month, Billy confessed to Mackenzie about participating in the illegal matches to better provide for his family.

Billy and his wife Dawn have faced financial struggles since their baby son Evan was diagnosed with leukaemia, which limited their ability to work as normal.

Next week, Dawn tries her best to hide her growing suspicions over what Billy is up to. Billy also feels guilty about lying to his family.

Aaron Dingle, who's aware of what's going on, urges Mackenzie to talk Billy out of the next fight before it's too late. When Mackenzie tries to do so, Billy dismisses him and insists that he needs the money.

When Billy eventually has second thoughts, he meets up with newcomer Jade and tries to back out of the fight.

Jade puts her foot down and refuses to let Billy pull out now, leaving him concerned that he's dealing with some highly dangerous characters. Before long, Billy is aware that he's not just fighting for money but also his own safety.

Having got nowhere with their attempts to influence Billy, worried Aaron and Mack agree that they'll attend the fight and try to help him.

Back at the warehouse, Jade warns Billy about the brutal rules of the fight.

Billy is horrified as he realises that Aaron was right about the nature of this event. He knows that he has made a big mistake by getting involved, but is there anything he can do about it now?

Monday

Billy Fletcher takes on his scariest boxing match so far

He's been warned again and again not to take part in any more boxing bouts but Billy Fletcher is in too deep.

Though Aaron, Mack and John have tried to stop the broke dad from secretly competing in these dangerous unlicensed matches, he won't. And he can't.

Head honcho Jade arrives in the village and literally strong-arms him into taking part.

At the venue, as she outlines the rules of the fight, Billy's horrified but unable to back out.

When Mack arrives at the warehouse, suspecting Billy has gone ahead with the booking, he's sickened to discover what is about to unfold in front of a baying, aggressive crowd?

Who's Billy's opponent?

Elsewhere, Nicola moves forward with her suspicions about Tom.

She's noticed that her stepson Carl seems scared of him and wants to know why.

As she gently questions Carl, he's about to elaborate when Tom arrives unexpectedly. Carl clams up ? but Nicola's not about to.

After calling Jimmy to tell him what is going on, Nicola spots the remote controlled truck Tom gave Carl has been put in the bin.

Knowing how much Carl loved the toy, Nicola is more convinced than ever that she is on to something and takes it up with Carl.

When Tom later returns there's hell to pay as Nicola tears into him accusing him of bullying Carl.

Will Tom manage to talk his way out trouble? Could this be the start of his 'Nice Guy' image slipping as folk begin to realise Belle Dingle has been telling the truth all along?

Will Nicola make good on a threat to call the police?

At Butler's, Cain is looking for answers from Moira who's making arrangements ahead of her risky brain surgery.


Tuesday

Tom King is cornered by furious Nicola

Tom King's in a very tricky spot around at his aunt and uncle's house.

Nicola has worked out that his little cousin Carl is scared of him and she wants to know why.

But when Nicola starts questioning Tom and recounting what terrified Carl has told her, Tom rears up in anger.

He's messing with the wrong woman in Nicola who isn't about to be silenced by shouty Tom and is starting to suspect that Tom's ex, Belle, might have been telling the truth about his abuse.

As hostile Nicola interrogates him and makes her feelings more than plain, will Tom manage to talk his way out of trouble or will his 'explanations' put him in more hot water?

And will his one staunch supporter, Jimmy, start to turn against him?

Is this the beginning of the end for abusive liar Tom?

Over at the warehouse, the danger continues for Billy who's taking part in an unlicensed boxing bout when he really should be at home recovering from his last.

How will the fight end? Will Billy do what is expected from him by head honcho Jade?

Will Mack be able to help his pal from the sidelines?

Where will it all end?


Wednesday

Charity Dingle tries to reassure Mack

A problem has cropped up for Charity and Mack which they could never have seen coming.

But when a familiar face from Charity's chequered past reappears in her present, there's trouble.

Mack's decidedly unimpressed and so is Charity but will he listen when she tries to reassure him or are old wounds about to resurface?

Down the road, Nicola's heard enough from Tom and is taking action.

But as she and Carl get into the car where are they headed?

Is she making good on her threat to go to the police about her nephew's questionable behaviour towards his little cousin Carl?

At Butler's Moira and Matty prepare to head off to visit Adam. It's the first Cain's heard of it and he's not happy with the lack of warning.

As Cain says goodbye to his wife, they're both aware that a more permanent goodbye is in the offing as the date of her risky brain surgery looms large in the calendar.


Thursday

It's Halloween in Emmerdale , Liam can't contain his feelings for Chas any longer

Liam Cavanagh has never really stopped fancying Chas Dingle.

But when they got together all those months ago, cancer came along and rocked Chas' world. While the landlady fought the disease, romance was not on her agenda.

And then of course, Ella Forster came along and started seeing the doc.

Though their relationship has been a rollercoaster, with more lows than highs, they're currently trying to make a stab of things.

Or so Ella thought.

Unbeknown to her, Liam's been snatching any opportunity he can to be around Chas. When her uncle Zak died, he made it pretty clear he was choosing her company over Ella's.

On Halloween, Chas hosts a party and politely asks the couple along.

For Liam it's just too much.

Unable to hold back a moment longer, he tells Chas he loves her and to his delight, she tells him she feels the same!

After they share a passionate kiss, Liam knows he must tackle the situation with Ella. Will she take it well?

Over at the Kings' place, a marriage is under strain.

Nicola and Jimmy need to find common ground over the Tom situation but are they on the same page?

And as for Tom, he's about to come under more pressure than ever before?


Friday

Liam Cavanagh is pulled in all directions

Liam Cavanagh should be skipping down Main Street with a big smile on his face. But instead, he's stressed with a capital S.

After getting together with Chas Dingle earlier this year, it looked like the pair could be the next hot couple in the village. However, cancer came along and rocked Chas' world, meaning romance was the last thing on her mind. While the landlady fought the disease, love was not on her agenda and then Ella came along and caught Liam's eye.

But finally, Liam and Chas have been vulnerable with each other and admitted they're mad about one another this week.

So what's bothering the doc?

Has he done the right thing by Ella and ended their romance in a kind and honest way? Or has the clumsy GP made a right old mess of the delicate situation?

Elsewhere, something or someone is bothering Mack, and Nicola is like a dog with a bone?

Aaron encourages Mack to put a stop to Billy's fighting before it's too late. Mack does his best to talk Billy down from the fight, but Billy is adamant that he needs the money.

Mack goes to Billy's fight and ties to help him. Jade unpacks the dangerous rules of the illegal fight and the penny drops for Billy that Aaron was right about the nature of the event. Billy realises he has made a big mistake.

Meanwhile, Nicola's cogs are now whirring as she has guessed that Carl's upset is related to Tom, but her son clams up when Tom unexpectedly returns to the house. Nicola is left frustrated that Carl can't be honest with her.

Elsewhere, as Moira and Cain comfort each other, both are painfully aware this could be a rehearsal for a more permanent farewell.
