MONDAY
Penny Branning puts herself in danger when she does a deal with Harry Mitchell
Penny Branning loves a bad boy and newcomer Harry Mitchell certainly fits the bill!
The pair first hooked up after Harry moved to Albert Square with dad Teddy Mitchell and brother Barney Mitchell. A flirty encounter outside The Arches led to drinks and something more.
Recently Penny's mind has been on the disastrous incident at Peggy's while she was manager when her sister Amy Mitchell was seriously injured.
Penny's copper dad Jack Branning can be overprotective of his daughters but he knows that Harry is a wrong 'un. He almost caught Harry when he got involved with stolen cars. When Jack warned Harry to stay away from his daughter, he made an enemy of the Mitchell man.
Angry with her dad for not supporting her over the club incident, Penny conspires with Harry to blackmail Jack. But what do they have on him? Harry has a very special request for Jack in return for his silence.
Later, Jack does some digging and he makes a worrying discovery about Harry.
Ravi Gulati is fuming after he finds out from son Nugget Gulati that his teen daughter Avani Nandra-Hart has been messaging a mystery boy!
After confiscating her phone, he asks Avani's mum Priya Nandra-Hart to help him get into it to find out who she's been flirting with.
Reluctant to break her daughter's confidence, Priya feels forced to pass on that Avani told her she's dating schoolmate Barney Mitchell. Luckily for Avani, Ravi believes the lie she fed to her mum and stops short of going through her messages.
Slipping out to meet up with older boy Mason, Avani tells him that she's not ready to sleep with him. He's a nasty piece of work and Avani ends up with a busted lip for her refusal to agree to his demands.
Meanwhile, Ravi and Priya share a charged moment but it's broken when Avani turns up. Ravi is outraged to discover that she's been assaulted and, convinced Barney is the culprit, Ravi vows he'll be teaching him a lesson.
Alfie Moon has been in Birmingham for the last few weeks on a management course ahead of taking up his job as Minute Mart manager.
While he's been away, his son Tommy Moon's bad behaviour has ramped up a notch and Tommy ended up physically assaulting mum Kat Slater.
Worried that the family could be broken up by social services if news of Tommy's violence gets out, Kat has been doing her best to hide what's been happening.
After returning home, Alfie sees her badly bruised face and is suspicious when Kat claims she stumbled on a boozy night out with Stacey Slater. When Alfie finds out that Kat lied about going out with Stacey, he's concerned.
Another incident with Tommy cracks off when Kat finds out that he's been using her credit card. She rails at her son and insists she's already had to cover for him once with Alfie over her bruise and doesn't want to lie again.
Alfie overhears their conversation and is horrified, storming in and demanding to know EXACTLY what's been going on!
TUESDAY
Kat Slater is stunned when Tommy Moon goes too far
Kat Slater has been at her wits' end over son Tommy Moon. Ever since she split up with Phil Mitchell, the teenager's behaviour has been getting more and more out of control.
Refusing to be disciplined, Tommy has physically hit out on several occasions, injuring Kat, who has been powerless to stop him.
The latest incident saw Tommy lash out when she tried to discipline him over his attempt to steal money from the cafe and he hit her around the face.
Although Kat tried to hide the truth from Tommy's dad Alfie Moon, he overheard a row between the pair and now he wants to know EXACTLY what's been going on!
Forced to admit to Alfie that Tommy hit her, Kat's worried about what might happen next.
Things are not any better with Tommy, however, and he ends up in a confrontation with Freddie Slater which threatens to get SERIOUSLY out of control...
Teddy Mitchell is incensed when Ravi Gulati mistakenly blames his son Barney Mitchell for assaulting his daughter Avani Nandra-Hart.
Without finding out the true facts, Ravi steams in to make an example of Barney, not knowing that Avani was in an altercation with her secret boyfriend Mason.
When Avani finds out what her dad's up to, she's horrified and races to find him, begging him to leave Barney alone.
Things get nasty between Teddy and Ravi as they square up to each other outside the cafe but they're soon interrupted by the police.
Determined to get revenge on Ravi for disrespecting his family, Teddy tells his eldest son Harry Mitchell that they need a plan.
Penny Branning was rattled after a warning from copper dad Jack Branning to stay away from a dodgy Harry Mitchell.
He's concerned that she's getting herself involved in a bad lot and insists she needs to keep clear.
Confronting Harry, Penny believes him when he insists she has nothing to be worried about.
Secretly he's stewing about Jack's interference and he later tells Jack that he's moving the blackmail deadline and he wants what he asked for by tomorrow...
WEDNESDAY
Harry Mitchell is keen to get one step ahead of copper Jack Branning
Harry Mitchell has been trouble from the moment he stepped on the Square!
Despite dad Teddy Mitchell doing his best to fit in and win around the locals, Harry got off on a bad foot when he made snarky comments to Chelsea Fox.
Teddy forced Harry to apologise, then bagged the mechanic a trial run at The Arches. The minute he had the keys to the garage, Teddy called up a contact about working with a fence on stolen cars!
Cop Jack Branning sussed Harry out after spotting him talking to a known criminal but Teddy did some fast work to avoid Harry feeling the long arm of the law.
Ever since the incident, a humiliated Harry has been smarting and when he got the chance to blackmail Jack, he leapt at it.
At The Arches, Jack is reluctantly forced to agree to turn a blind eye to Harry's dodgy dealings.
Kat Slater is desperate to make excuses for her violent teen Tommy Moon, despite the recent incident between him and Freddie Slater that caused carnage.
Terrified that Tommy and her boys will all be taken away by the social, Kat's determined to deal with things on her own, even though it's clear that Tommy's behaviour has gone way beyond anything she can manage.
At the Slaters, Jean Slater starts to get suspicious about Freddie's evasive manner, as he's never been the best at keeping a secret.
Jean is sure that Freddie is hiding something big about Kat but will she uncover the horrifying truth?
Teddy Mitchell feels bad for his youngest Barney Mitchell, who is clearly feeling like he's on the outer in the family.
The recent troubles with the Panesar family after Ravi Gulati mistakenly thought Barney had attacked his daughter Avani Nandra-Hart has also left Barney rattled.
Knowing that things have been tough for Barney since Teddy brought his boys to the Square, Teddy wants to make Barney feel more included.
He comes up with an idea but his efforts to make amends to Barney fall flat.
Fed up with how things have been going since they ended up in Walford, Barney makes a decision...
THURSDAY
Nish Panesar decides on his next move with Teddy Mitchell after recent shock events
Nish Panesar is not a man to let anyone mess with his family. In fact, if anyone is going to destroy them, he's going to be the one to do it!
After Nish's son Ravi Gulati mistakenly thought teen Barney Mitchell had assaulted his daughter Avani Nandra-Hart, he was raging.
Avani was given a split lip by her secret boyfriend Mason, but she had lied to mum Priya Nandra-Hart that she was secretly dating schoolmate Barney, which is how the mix up came about.
Instead of things being sorted out in a rational method, Ravi stormed off to find Barney and make an example of him.
When Teddy Mitchell stepped in to protect his son, Ravi square up to him.

Fortunately, the police arrived in the nick of time to stop things going further.
But Teddy was riled by Ravi's attitude and told son Harry Mitchell that the Panesars needed to be taught a lesson...
Events took a dark twist and now it's the Panesars' turn to plot revenge.
Frustrated with the macho posturing, Suki Panesar insists she doesn't want to see any more of her family behind bars and begs Nish to cool things down.
Suki is already grieving the loss of her son Jags Panesar, who died in prison, as well as eldest son Kheerat Panesar, who took the blame for Ranveer Gulati's death to protect his mum.
Uncharacteristically, Nish sees the sense in Suki's words and tells the family that he and Suki will have a meet with Teddy to sort things out.
Choosing neutral ground, they arrange to talk things through with Teddy in the cafe.
Can he be convinced to call a truce and will Ravi let things lie?
Meanwhile, Harry overhears Barney on the phone to someone and wonders what he's up to.
When he and Teddy make a discovery, they are VERY alarmed...

Avani meets up with Mason and tells him that she's not going to sleep with him. Mason orders her to leave and the situation turns violent, leaving Avani with an injured lip.
Ravi and Priya share a charged moment in Walford East, but they're interrupted when Avani arrives back. Ravi assumes that Barney is to blame for Avani's injury, as she'd lied about spending time with him. Barney is left in trouble when Ravi decides to teach him a lesson.
Meanwhile, Penny and Harry team up to blackmail Jack. Harry warns Jack that he has a one-week deadline to comply with his demands. Later, Jack shares another worrying discovery with Penny.
Elsewhere, Alfie returns home and realises that Kat is lying to him about the reason for her injury. Alfie overhears a row between Kat and Tommy and is keen for answers.

Ravi decides to make a spectacle of Barney, putting him at odds with Teddy. Avani rushes over to set the record straight, which forces Ravi to back down. Things escalate as Ravi and Teddy square up to each other and the police arrive.
Later, Teddy calls Harry and shares a plan to take revenge against Ravi.
Meanwhile, Kat tells Alfie that Tommy is the one who injured her. Later, the Moons sit down for a meal with Freddie, but the gathering descends into an altercation between Tommy and Freddie.
Elsewhere, Harry tries to settle Penny's concerns following Jack's warnings. Harry then increases the pressure on Jack, warning that the blackmail deadline has moved to tomorrow.
