EastEnder Tracy-Ann Oberman has been told she may have to lose her crowning glory. Producers have warned the actress she'll have to shave off her trademark corkscrew curls if and when her character, Queen Vic cleavage queen Chrissie, goes to jail for the murder of husband Den.
“I have been told that I may have to get my locks chopped off,” Tracy-Ann told a fan website. “I do hope that they get me a wig as I love my long hair.” Talk about coming a cropper.

Theres no way i would aswell, i mean why does she have to have it all cut off?? i dont get it, just because youre going Jail doesn't mean you have to have all your hair chopped off!
I wouldnt, especially as shes got bloody beautiful hair. The best of the cast!!

All they need is the hair that might be found, not the head it came off of. They do DNA testing on the hair and then match to her blood, skin, nails, pulp in her teeth. Cutting her hair off has nothing to do with not being able to match it to evidence.

I think its wrong. Telling her she is leaving is one thing, but then to say she might have to cut off her hair as she's filming her final scenes - not a chance. It never grows back the same..

I always thought that it was a wig anyway. No sane woman could wear her hair like that, surely? It is so trashy. She looks like she's gone to one of those cheap hairdressers who employ 17 year old school drop-outs who "just want to be a hair stylist". :)
