George Clooney has stated that friend Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are 'very content' together.

Pitt's Ocean's Twelve co-star told Italy's Vanity Fair magazine: "I see them together and they look very content, which makes me happy. I've met her a few times. She is a very beautiful woman and very clued up."

Although the media has been convinced that the pair are an item since Pitt's split from Friends star Jennifer Aniston earlier this year, the stars have refused to confirm or deny whether they are a couple.
