Series Five Of Popular ITV1 Drama Footballers Wives returns Next Summer on ITV1. Tanya (Zoe Lucker) returns after finding out Conrad's dead, And Amber still wants revenge, Shannon Lawson will fall in love with new Earls Park, Anika Bever is arrestted for the murder of Olly Ryan.
Meanwhile Yazmin Slater, Joley Slater, Reece Slater plan to get Bruno Divorced from Lucy and get coustody of Angelica.
Gerry Ryan plans a new change for Earls Park with the help of Tanya, And Rodger Webb and Jackie get a divorce after Jackie tells him Paddy his her Son, and Seb faces serious Problems with Yazmin and Darius trys to Kiss Tanya!

The Show is due to return to June 2006

Please note i dont know how reliable this information is as its taken from the Digital Spy forum, but its sounds pretty convincing

Zoe has apparently confirmed her return, she is in New Zealand right now touring in a theatre play, she said her character is coming back to tie up loose ends

its not as good as the first series onec chardonnay, kyle etc left it went down hill. still love it though1 cant wait till the next series espeically now i know that tanya is returning!!

i can see this being the final series...i mean common... theyre bringing in half the cast from the extra time series, who terrestial viewers wont have a clue about! and they wont know what happened to harley! or how amber reacted to conrads death etc! its just a sham!

Spooky finale for ‘Footballers' Wives’

The last series of ITV drama Footballers' Wives may feature the ghostly return of a dead character.

Cristian Solimeno previously played Jason Turner, husband of nasty Tanya. He has been offered £50,000 to return in the last episode of series five, which is to be the last.

A friend of Solimeno said: "They've told him he'd be coming back as a ghost to haunt Tanya. His first reaction was to say no because he's moved on to do other things, but it's possible he might be persuaded."

The new series starts on thursday 23rd of February!! :cheer:
