Family Prom in the Park

Kim Medcalf is to appear in the BBC's Family Prom in the Park alongside a host of stars.


Sunday 11th September is the date for the BBC Family Prom in the Park. The event, to take place in London's Hyde Park, will be presented by Blue Peter favourites Konnie Huq and Matt Baker and aims to take the audience on a musical journey around the world in 80 minutes.
The BBC Concert Orchestra will provide the backing to a range of stars including EastEnders' Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell), the cast of the hit West End musical Mary Poppins, McFly and Jamie Cullum
Other attractions include Japanese Taiko drummers, Indian Bollywood dancers and Abba tribute band Björn Again. The family show offers something for everyone, and will be broadcast live on BBC Two

Kim Medcalf's already said she doesn't want to pursue a music career when she leaves 'Enders.

God shes got an amazin voice, i really cant see her singing career rising but she has got the talent.
