Neighbours finally introduces Byron and Nicolette Stone's father Victor next month.

A Place To Call Home actor Craig Hall has been cast in the role of Victor, who has often been mentioned on screen but never seen.

Newly released spoiler pictures show the moment that Victor arrives at Number 24 and greets his ex-wife Jane Harris, who doesn't look entirely happy to see him.

Victor then wastes no time before spending time with his family.

This includes getting to know Byron's new girlfriend Sadie Rodwell and catching up with Nicolette.

More details on Victor's storyline will be revealed next month, but the official billing for his arrival on Tuesday, May 14 reads: "A surprise guest on Ramsay Street upsets the status quo."

Meanwhile, the teaser for a subsequent episode on Wednesday, May 22 adds: "Sadie struggles under the burden of Vic's secret."

Neighbours bosses originally planned to introduce the character of Victor in 2022, but the plot was cancelled after the long-running Australian soap was axed by Channel 5.

As the show's focus shifted to plotting its star-studded finale episode, there wasn't enough time to bring in the character of Victor.

Neighbours' script producer Shane Isheev told Digital Spy at the time: "We had plans to bring in Jane's ex, Vic, and we would have had a ball with that."

In a separate chat with Chatterbox Radio, Isheev later explained: "We even know who we wanted to play that role. Vic would have come in and been a bit of a charmer. I think, if Clive and Jane had stayed together, he probably would have tempted Jane away from Clive. Maybe putting the moves on Wendy and charming Vera.

"Karl and Susan lost all that money with the Montana storyline. He would have hooked into that and maybe even made things worse for them."

Charlotte Chimes, who played Nicolette until 2022, also told Digital Spy at the time: "It's a shame that a few things that I knew were coming up for [Nicolette] aren't happening now, as I would have loved to have been able to enjoy those stories.

"Nicolette's dad was going to be coming and we didn't have time for that. That was one thing I was really looking forward to ? exploring the Jane and Nicolette dynamic and how the dad would affect that."

It's currently unknown whether the show will use any of the original plans for Victor or take things in an entirely different direction.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15.

Neighbours' Sadie Rodwell is set to discover a huge secret after Victor Stone shows up in Erinsborough.

In scenes set to air next Tuesday (May 14) and Wednesday (May 15) Victor attempts to make amends with his children Nicolette and Byron.

Nicolette is thrilled have her father back however Byron is more suspicious of his impromptu visit. Jane is also suspicious about her ex-husband's arrival, as Victor's presence is usually followed by drama.

Victor declares that he is in town to spend quality time with his kids, however Byron and Jane are left suspicious when Victor admits he has money issues and is hoping to stay with his son.

Byron grudgingly asks his housemates if Victor can stay before admitting to Mackenzie that he has never felt close to his father.

Mackenzie then reflects on her own relationship with her father and urges Byron to take Victor at his word as life is too short. Byron then relents and allows his father to stay, with telling his son that he loves him.

However once alone Victor logs onto his bank account, with viewers learning that actually has access to a seven-figure sum of money. Why is he lying about his financial status?

Later in the week Victor arranges quality time with his kids, however the meet-up goes awry when he begins offering his kids unsolicited advice.

Victor then pleads with Jane for advice on how to connect with his children, with his ex-wife telling him it will take time for Nicolette and Byron to warm up to him.

Meanwhile at the share house, Victor discovers Sadie looking through his computer. Victor urges her to keep what she's seen a secret but Sadie insists he must come clean to his family.

Sadie reluctantly covers for Victor, agreeing that it's his secret to tell. But what is it that Victor's hiding?

The aftermath of Victor Stone's health bombshell is set to play out in upcoming Neighbours scenes.

After rocking up at ex-wife Jane Harris' door unexpectedly, Victor has wasted no time in reconnecting with his children Byron and Nicolette, but it hasn't all been sunshine and roses.

The reason for his reappearance was swiftly discovered by Byron's girlfriend Sadie Rodwell after Victor stayed with the couple.

Victor has revealed to his loved ones that he is dying, and in scenes that will air today (May 23) and Monday (May 27), fans will see the aftermath of Victor's bombshell and how it affects his nearest and dearest.

Nicolette and Byron both struggle with the news that they will lose their father. While Nicolette supports Victor, Byron disappears as he cannot take the sudden blow.

Sadie worries as she believes his sudden disappearance is because he's upset she knew about Victor's condition first, but he eventually reveals that he is not handling the news very well.

Byron continues to bottle his feelings up until Aaron Brennan urges him to see his dad, where he explodes and unleashes all of the pent-up anger he feels towards his estranged parent.

Next week, the Stone family take some time apart following Byron and Victor's clash, with Jane offering to mediate between the pair so they can work through their hurt.

Byron finally admits that he is struggling to process Victor's diagnosis and the conflicting feelings he has towards his father, but with Jane's support, he is able to get them off his chest and embrace Victor.

Victor tells the family about his plan to secure a financial legacy for his children, leaving Jane wistful over the sudden generosity in her ex-husband and what could have been between them had he always been this generous.

On the walk with Nicolette and Byron, Vic begins to lose his breath. When his kids take him to the car park to rest, they spot Jane?s car, realising she must have wanted to join them.

Neighbours newcomer Victor Stone spies an opportunity as Leo Tanaka's financial misery continues next week.

Victor prepares for some tough negotiation tactics as the Stone family prepare to buy into Leo's vineyard business.

Following the revelation that Victor is terminally ill, he recently promised to buy a business to ensure that his son Byron and daughter Nicolette will be provided for in the future.

Next week, Nicolette shows Victor around the vineyard and he quickly realises that this could be the business opportunity he's been looking for.

Victor is aware that Leo has been struggling lately, so he believes that it could be the perfect time to go into partnership and give Yorokobi a much-needed fresh start.

Nicolette and Byron are both sceptical over whether Leo would be willing to accept outside investment, but they're surprised when Victor approaches Leo and he agrees to consider it.

After facing so many problems since the poisoning scandal at the vineyard, Leo is starting to consider whether it might be worth having a business partner to help shoulder the responsibility.

Feeling encouraged by how the conversation went, Victor instructs Nicolette and Byron not to talk to Leo while they begin negotiations.

Victor hopes to enter into the financial discussions in the best position possible, so he doesn't want Nicolette and Byron to say anything that could jeopardise things.

Nicolette, Byron and Jane all worry about Victor's hardline stance, but he points out that their future depends on this and he's not afraid to cause an upset in pursuit of the best deal.

Will Victor get exactly what he wants ? and could this be at Leo's expense?

Victor Stone will receive some surprising news on Neighbours next week as he discovers some information about his illness.

The character entered Erinsborough last month as he sought to connect with children Byron and Nicolette, with his arrival surprising all including ex-wife Jane.

It wasn?t quite the happy reunion, however, with Victor revealing that he was seriously ill and wanted to spend his final days reconnecting with his loved ones.

Wanting to leave a legacy for his children before his passing, Victor vowed to set up a business and attempted to enter into an arrangement with Leo at the vineyard, though others were surprised at his hard-line stance in negotiations.

In next Monday?s (July 1) episode, Leo will seek Terese?s advice on the offer from Victor; she advises that given the low nature of the offer, he should accept on the condition that he retains a controlling interest.

Leo comes back to Victor with the terms of the deal, saying he would accept a partnership as long as Victor can agree to a 51/49 split in favour of himself.

Victor accepts the deal, with Jane expressing how heartened she is to see Victor investing in their children?s futures.

His emotions get the better of him as he impulsively kisses Jane, leaving her to debrief Terese about the situation after being shocked by his move.

Victor later attends his check-up, and is given excellent news by Remi as he reveals that all of his tumours have disappeared following an immunotherapy trial.

With Victor now in remission, just how will his relationship with his children progress? And will it change his plan regarding his business investments?...

There is some speculation around that we may not have seen the end of Vic just yet. This seems to be based on a podcast/interview he did which was posted online a few days ago. Not sure when the actual interview was recorded, but in it he says that he just finished filming with Neighbours 'on Friday'. So, if the interview has only just recently been done, then with filming roughly 5-6 months before it appears on air, it would mean that he will still be around on Neighbours for a little while longer. We will see...
