She would get a criminal record whatever happens i bet. Shes a home carer isn't she? Well she'd be sacked if she did. She could be fined, get community service or even jail.
It was My hotmail/msn account she hacked into. At the moment I'm feeling extremely violated as there were pics of my family and friends and boyf. So i'm extremely gutted about whats happened.

I doubt she would be sacked over that. As someone that soon has to go through an enhanced CRB check, the only offenses whereby there will be questions as to whether or not you can care for others is, if you have been convicted of mistreating children or adults, offenses such as ABH, GBH etc...

Oh my goodness, i dont blame you, id feel the same, i mean ive had people hack into my computer and give me viruses, and photos are a very personal thing to someone, im very sorry to hear that Jude :(

I think she could yes, if its only the IP Address that has been blocked, theres no reason why sh cant do it again, that is why i advise all people to delete and block her from you MSN list, and change your passwords

Going on experience, it's hard to disable an IP address, as other users may also use it.

You should be ok as long as you remove her from your list and change your passwords it should be ok

Yup most people come through a proxy but there are ways to filter further down if you know what you are doing.
I very much doubt she will be able to hack your forums. Just make sure your passwords are hard to guess
Dont think spicy will get that talk with her, she's just went off line and in all the time she's been on my msn ive never known her to log off

I am really disappointed. However we have previously had problems with this person discussing shop lifting, and drinking while pregnant. She always has gone out of her way to shock on some occasions, such as the thread about housework when she was talking about dog dirt, I just could not believe that she was serious.
He shout box reads like an innocent person.
Am I guilible?

I think thats how she changed so many passwords. Make sure your Virus and firewall protection is up to date. She sent me a pic which had a trojan embedded in it

just reading through this thread and reading about the things she's done i feel sorry for her in a way she needs help bigtime

It does make you wonder if she did have kids - my two are playing happily when I am on here and I am never on in the evening generally unless they have gone to bed and the hubby is out!!! she used to be on till 4am sometimes and I am thinking, when does she sleep??

Can I just say, that in some strange way, a good thing has come out of this - it proves that the internet can be a very big and dangerous place and that people aren't always who and what they say they are - if you haven't experienced it before, we certainly all have now, and I think a lesson is to be learned here, for all including the younger members........
its a good lesson to learn, especially younger members like me. i have met several people like this before and to be honest, its the person you least expect it to be

I remember her telling me about her hubby always being away and only being home for a month at a time, though with huge intervals - I felt sorry for her thinking she had a couple of kids and one on the way, on her own waiting - not now !!

I think that we can all agree that the boards will be better without her.
She was very entertaining in a sort of slow motion car crash way, but she obviously isn't very stable. I liked the idea that she may be 2 people! That would explain the long hours and the split personality!

i'm bad at remembering stuff like that tho, i have about 5 different words that i use (rotate)
i have 1 because before i had about 10 and it took me about 5 mins to get into each site, but it uses numbers and letters and punctuation. if anyone got it, i'd be amazed!
i dont use internet banking, thank god!

at the end of the day, the person who gave WQ their pass word (NOT JUDE- she didnt) knows they did a really stupid thing and will probably cop a rollocking

omg, i trusted her. I respected her as a poster. This is such a shock!! she was really decent on the boards......omg. I honestly can't belive this.....she was really....really...not the person you would expect to do this. Why did she do it?
It is a shame, she probably looked up to WQ and thought that she could trust her.

me and jude came on line at 10 am, jude realised something was up, someone had done lots of stuff as her, so i phoned GR and stared unbaning everyone, then we had to undelete everything, and GR traced who it was and immidiately got rid of the rude pics that appeared
it took him most of the day to get back to normal though and some things we couldnt get back- so they had to be re-done

Hey not being rude or anything but do we have to carry on discussing her now, its doing my head in lol.
Shes gone now, everything is back to normal id like to move on
