American Pie's Natasha Lyonne is in a New York City hospital's intensive care unit.

The New York Post reports that Lyonne is suffering from a collapsed lung, hepatitis C and a heart infection. The report added that she is receiving methadone therapy.

"It's a terrible tragedy, but she's going to get better. We're praying for her and she's a tough girl," Aaron Braunstein, Lyonne's father, told Access Hollywood, adding that there could be "a major lawsuit" over the article in the Post.
