I dont think it can b a boar, it's a big massive thing that can string people up to the trees ( the pilot).

I seem to think that there was not an actual monster in Lord of the flies, i seem to think it was just in the kids imagination. I could be wrong tho, not read it since 4th year.

I see what you mean by it being similar, but i dont really think its that much like it, the plane crash on the dessert is the same, but i think thats prolly as far as the similarities go.

i've read lord of the flies but i couldnt tell you about any links between the two as i cant say i payed attention in class. lol, i found it boring. lol

the person Jack keeps seeing i think its Rose's husband. as i think it was either in heat or revel it said about rose and that she lost her husband, then it said 'is he really even dead?' or something like that, they wouldnt put somehting like that if he did die and got blown up or something and he first saw them when he was sat talking to rose.

The island seems to have some pretty powerful restoritive powers. Locke's leg a & Jack's dad verses all the people that died. Creepy.

I duno how theyre gonna wrap this up at the end of the series, I doubt we find out all the mysteries of the island, coz then there wouldnt really be a point in a second series, but it could be rahter annoying, i just wanna know whats goin on!!!

I dunno why but i think its a dinosaur or summit thats the monster, it has to be pretty big coz we saw the angle that it was looking at locke from and it was quite high up and it also strung that pilot guy up to the tree so must be big.

But why did it not go after locke?

well it starts wen kate goes into a bank opening a new account, but then 3 men come in with guns n stuff...anyway 1 of the robbers tells the bank manager 2 open the money cage else he'll start killing people. then some woman tries 2 attack 1 of the other robbers tryin to get his gun from him which lands next to kate. the woman tells her to pick the gun up but kate says she doesnt know how 2 use it so the 1st robber grabs her n takes her into the back room and then they kiss, but to make it look good he then slaps her across the face, and tells the manager he will pull the trigger if he doesnt give him the keys to the money cage, so the manager gives him the keys. wen he gets in the cage he tries to get as much money as possible and the manager is tryin to persuade him to let kate go, but he then tells the manager that she set the whole thing up and then goes to kill the manager, but kate thought they had agreed that no one gets hurt so has to shoot the robber (her boyfriend). kate, or "maggie" then demands the manager to hand over the keys to safety deposite boxes, which wen she opens she finds a small green envelope, which we later find on the aeroplane which has a small toy aeroplane in it, which she says belonged to the man she killed.

hope that makes it a little easier to understand :)

i just read episode 22, im really confused with this whole kate thing now, the toy aeroplane wasnt do to with the robbery (sorry for any confusion!), it says:
(kate has not yet been caught for the bank robbery)
kate is seen in a hospital carryin flowers and she spots a police officer so quickly turns the other way. later, a doctor heads to a car but we hear a voice from the backseat sayin 'hi tom'. and tom realises its kate. he asks her what shes doin and she sez that diane is dying and thought she should come to see her, but she needs his help.
but then kate asks tom "do you thinks its still there?" so later they drive to a cow pasture and start to dig. kates shovel hits somethin metal and they pull something from the ground...which we find out is a time capsule and inside there are the treasures of two children among which is… the toy airplane. we find out that the aeroplane is toms and kate finds an audiocassette and as these two sit in the car and listen to themselves as children, we learn that they were more than just friends --- they loved each other. they kiss. they drive to the hospital and kate goes into a room, she says 'mom, its me katie' and while kate begins to tearfully apologize for putting her mother through "all this" kate's mother begins to speak. she keeps repeating thw word 'help' getting louder and louder, which attracts a security guard. wen he doesnt believe kates story she knocks him out. tom arrives 2 find the guard on the ground and asks kate what happened. "I need your car keys," kate says. they run 2 the car and kate gets in the drivers seat and tom in the passenger seat, and they start 2 speed away from the sirens bu they cant get away because a police car has blocked the exit and the policeman starts to shoot. kates tells tom to get out but he doesnt and asks her to turn herself in, but kate manages to somehow get past the police car. but wen kate looks over at tom they find out he is dead but hasnt got time to do anythin as police cars arrive. she turns around to the backseat to see toms toy aeroplane, which she attempts to get but realises she hasnt got time. so she gets out and runs. - so im thinkin that that is the reason the officer who was with her on the plane had the toy with him and not kate.

I have seen the eppi where Kate's boyfriend is killed.... he is shot by the police when they try to escape.. kate is wanted for something else, a felony, but she robs the bank to get the airplane back. She is not with the boyfriend anymore but she still loves him and the airplane was something very important to him.. she hasn't killed anyone but she feels it is her fault that her boyfriend died...

Sawyer has killed someone but he was misled. you have seen the eppi with the letter, well a friend tells him that he has found the guy who killed his mum and dad so he tracks him down and shoots him but when the guy is dying he says that he owes sawyer friend money... Sawyer's friend used him to kill the guy by telling him that he is the guy he is looking for cause he knows that sawyer wants revenge.

Stay with lost, it gets better and better, except one crappy eppi where it rehashs on the stuff....

i think the officer had the plane because he was looking after Kate's personal possesions. Why else would the officer bother brining it with him.

I think this story is really sweet. I didnt think Kate seemed like the sort of person that would have murdered someone. Wonder why her mum was scared of her though

The aeroplane does not belong to the police as it was in one of Kate’s flash back, when she kills her boyfriend. Than the bank many get something out of those doors and it was in the box but it was in an envelope but she never opened it until she was on the island

I believe the aeroplane was to do with the robbey as I think it was in the envelope in the box at the bank. But I don’t read over from when I am up to, I like it to be surprise when it happens.

I think he abused her. Kate was brought up to believe that he was her step-dad, and thought that her real dad was in the army. Heres a script from when we find out:

[FLASHBACK to Kate sitting outside a house playing with a Zippo lighter. A truck pulls up playing country music and a drunken guy, Wayne, gets out.]

WAYNE: Well, heya, girl. What are you doing here? [He grabs onto Kate] Hey, there.

KATE [annoyed]: Alright, let's get you to bed. [She helps him to the bed as he stumbles around] Watch your step, watch your step.

WAYNE: What the hell is that smell?

KATE: Probably your breath.

WAYNE: Sha, right.

KATE: Come on.

[She puts him in bed and takes off his shoes.]

WAYNE: You're beautiful. Hey. Hey! I just gave you a compliment.

KATE: Yeah, I heard you. [Kate puts a blanket on him]

WAYNE: Aren't you going to take my pants off first? [He grabs her arm] You are beautiful.
