A familiar face returns - and brings big trouble with them
MONDAY
Dean Wicks continues to cause ructions in the Square after tricking Cindy Beale into letting him buy into the new pie and mash shop.
Although he was never brought to justice for it, Dean raped Linda and his appearance in the Queen Vic on Halloween left her terrified.
With Cindy desperate to make something of herself following her own shock return to Walford with partner Ian Beale, she was horrified to find out that Dean was a rapist.
Realising there's no getting out of the contract they've signed, they resolve to make the best of things and launch Beale's Eels as planned.
On the day of the launch, Dean finds 'rapist' scrawled across the pie shop's window. Blaming Linda, he storms over to the Vic and in front of surprised onlookers, he insists he could sue her for slander!
George Knight and Elaine Peacock are worried that Dean's threats could see Linda losing the pub, and Linda reluctantly agrees to strike a truce with Dean.
A deluded Dean has no intention of letting things drop with Linda, as he blames her for ruining his life with her 'lies'. Worried that the pie and mash is finished before it's even open, Cindy and Ian encourage Dean to back off.
In the Vic, Dean faces George Knight, who is determined not to let Dean win. Pushed to his limit, George launches himself at Dean, who falls down the stairs and lies motionless at the bottom.
Has George killed him?
Priya Nandra-Hart has been stirring the pot in the Panesar household, ever since she turned up with Ravi Gulati's secret daughter Avani Nandra-Hart.
Her relationship with her ex Ravi is tricky to say the least and they end up in another huge row.
Vinny Panesar is concerned that all the ructions are stressing out his mum Suki Panesar, who looks worn out and unhappy.
When he finds out that she never picked up her anti-depressant prescription, it leaves him even more concerned.
After Nish Panesar helps Priya with a problem with his granddaughter Avani's passport, she's grateful.
Keen to keep her feet under the table at the Panesars', she tells Avani that she's going to make sure Nish will want to have her around...
Nish is horrified when Priya thanks him for his help and moves in for a passionate kiss, witnessed by a shocked Suki and Vinny!
Also, Alfie Moon is grateful when ex Kat Mitchell goes with him to a medical appointment for his first hormone injection.
TUESDAY
Sam Mitchell has been away from Walford since the spring, after taking an executive job in a swish hotel in Spain.
When Sam left, she insisted that she just wanted to earn enough to help provide for her teen son Ricky Mitchell's baby, promising an unimpressed Ricky that she'll be back as soon as she can.
As the months went on with no sign of Sam, a fed up Ricky washed his hands of her, too used to her abandoning him in his hour of need.
Now it seems Sam has come back home but only because she's fleeing a dangerous criminal!
Turning to her brother Phil Mitchell, Sam reveals that she's got herself in big trouble. She got financially involved with the head of a sinister drug gang and she needs to pay him back - fast!
When Phil's wife Kat realises that he's actually considering paying off his flaky sister's debts, she's fuming. She's had enough of Sam causing trouble with her schemes and thinks Phil needs to let her sort out her own mess!
What will Phil do?
Dean Wicks is lying at the bottom of the Queen Vic stairs after an altercation with George Knight. Horrified to see a motionless Dean, Cindy Beale calls an ambulance.
Determined not to get George or Linda Carter into trouble, a rattled Cindy insists that she won't tell the anyone what happened.
When Ian Beale finds out that Cindy's covering for George, he's horrified, and tells her that if she's caught out in her lie she could end up back in prison.
Realising Ian has a point, Cindy agrees to tell the police the truth. When she finds out that George has a suspended sentence and will end up back inside himself, however, it gives her pause for thought.
The whole situation is a huge mess and Linda vows to sort things out once and for all.
What will she do?
Nish Panesar is still in shock after Priya Nandra-Hart's surprise kiss! His wife Suki Panesar witnessed the whole event and she accuses Nish of enjoying it, despite his protestations.
Feeling low, Suki's mood plunges even further when she later spots a happy looking Eve Unwin with her new lady, Tessa.
Doing an about face over Priya, Suki tells Nish they need to give her a chance and not chuck her out as they don't want to lose contact with Nish's granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart.
Vinny Panesar wonders why his mum is being so forgiving about Priya's behaviour, not realising that she wants as much family around as possible to avoid being alone with Nish.
Breaking down, she tells Vinny that she's desperately unhappy and hates Nish with a passion.
Heartbroken for his mum, Vinny promises that he won't stand in the way of her happiness any longer. He regrets forcing Suki to drop her plan to run away with Eve by blackmailing her to stay with the family instead encourages her to be with Eve if that's what she really wants.
Will Suki finally leave Nish?
WEDNESDAY
Suki Panesar's growing desperation of being trapped in a loveless and controlling marriage to Nish Panesar has seen her become increasingly ill with anxiety.
After a raft of worrying symptoms, she finally visited the GP and was recommended for anxiety medication.
When Nish starts meddling in Minute Mart business, a miserable Suki is furious and they end up in a huge argument.
A worried Eve sees their blazing row and she's concerned when Suki tells her they need to talk.
Nothing can prepare her for Suki's words, when she confesses that her son Vinny Panesar has promised not to stand in the way of their love any longer, telling Eve she wants to resume their love affair!
It's a heartbreaking revelation for Eve, who has vowed to finally get Suki out of her system and move on with her new girlfriend Tessa, unable to deal with Suki being in the closet over her sexuality.
She tells Suki that she can't be with her if they have to sneak around, she wants to have someone in her life who she can be a proper couple with and Tessa fits the bill.
Realising that unless she does something to prove her love for Eve, she's lost her for ever, Suki tells Vinny that she's going to leave Nish for good...
Elaine Peacock is terrified that fiance George Knight could be facing real trouble, after an altercation with Dean Wicks saw the rapist tumbling down the pub stairs.
The situation is proving to be challenging and she goes to daughter Linda Carter with a shock request.
Terrified to be forced to live near her rapist again, Linda has not been in a good way since Dean's surprise return.
He was never prosecuted for her rape and is still under the evil delusion that the attack wasn't rape, but consensual.
When Elaine makes it clear that Linda needs to say whatever it takes to get George off the hook, Linda is devastated that her mum would ask so much of her.
Sam Mitchell is feeling VERY sorry for herself after her unexpected return to Albert Square!
Sam's money making scheme of taking a job at a flash hotel in Spain has ended badly after she got herself in a pickle with a dangerous crime boss.
Her brother Phil Mitchell hasn't been much help and she's been forced to hide ot with cousin Billy Mitchell.
Desperate after Phil refuses to help her out, Sam is terrified when she's grabbed by drug boss Camillo.
Kat Mitchell spots the altercation and she rushes to find Phil and Billy to help her out.
Realising that Sam could be in physical danger from Camillo, Phil backtracks on his earlier words and tells Camillo that he'll get him his money if he leaves Sam alone.
THURSDAY
Eve Unwin was in shock after Suki Panesar revealed that she still loved her and she wanted them to be reunited!
Suki was on the verge of running away with Eve when she took a tumble down the stairs and was later blackmailed by son Vinny Panesar. He found out the truth about her and Eve and insisted she give her up and honour her loyalty to their family.
Now that Vinny has seen the true extent of his mum's unhappiness with his dad Nish Panesar, he's given Suki his blessing to be with the woman she loves.
Determined to make a clean break from Nish, Suki writes her husband a goodbye letter, while Vinny gets his hands on some funds to tide her over.
Finding Eve, Suki tells her that she's leaving Nish for good and she wants her to run away with her, promising that they can finally properly be together.
Eve has tried to deny her love for Suki in order to move on with new girlfriend Tessa, but Suki's words leave her torn.
Not knowing what to do, Eve turns to best mate Stacey Slater, who tells her that Suki has always been a lost cause and she's better off looking to the future with Tessa.
Will Eve take a risk to be with Suki?
Sam Mitchell has been back in Walford for several days after doing a flit from Spain following some bother with a drug boss Camillo.
Now that her brother Phil Mitchell has paid Camillo the money he was owed, Sam feels safe again.
She knows it's time to see her son Ricky Branning and meet her baby granddaughter Charli for the first time.
Sam left for Spain while Lily Slater was still pregnant with Charli, determined to raise enough cash to help out after the baby was born.
When she rocks up at the house, Ricky is NOT best pleased to see her! he's hurt and angry to find out that she's been in the Square and hasn't even bothered to visit.
Trying to placate her son, she insists that she was in some trouble but now it's all behind her and she's going to put him and Charli first.
Ricky has heard it all before from his flaky mum and he's no reason to believe that she's going to stick to her promises this time.
Desperate to make things good with Ricky, she turns to Charli's other grandma Stacey Slater and asks her to have a word.
Ricky eventually calms down and Sam finally gets to see her granddaughter.
Also, Linda Carter has been struggling in the aftermath of Dean Wicks' return to the Square, and Mitch Baker arranges a surprise birthday party for Karen Taylor in the Queen Vic.

On the launch day for the Beales' new pie and mash shop, Dean gets angry when he sees the word "rapist" written in graffiti across the window. Dean accuses Linda of being to blame and threatens to sue her for slander. As Elaine and George worry about the implications of this, Linda reluctantly tries to seek a truce with Dean.
Dean refuses to back down, even after encouragement from Ian and Cindy. Things come to a head when George lashes out at Dean upstairs at The Vic, causing the villain to fall down the stairs.
Meanwhile, Vinny worries about Suki showing signs of stress and exhaustion, especially when he learns that she didn't pick up her prescription for anti-depressants from the doctor. Later, Nish is horrified when Priya passionately kisses him ? especially when he spots Vinny and Suki standing at the doorway.
Elsewhere, Kat accompanies Alfie as he goes for his first hormone injection.

Dean regains consciousness after his fall down the stairs. Cindy announces that she didn't see what happened, but Ian is annoyed that she's clearly covering for George.
At the hospital, Ian warns Cindy to think carefully before lying for George, so she takes this on board and agrees to tell the police the truth. Linda learns that George is on a suspended sentence and could go back to prison, so she takes matters into her own hands.
Meanwhile, Suki orders Priya to pack her bags after kissing Nish, but later changes her mind. Suki tells Nish that it's because she wants to keep their granddaughter close, but in reality it's because she'd like to avoid being alone with Nish and wants as many people around the house as possible.
Later, Suki confides in Vinny about how unhappy she is in her marriage. Vinny tells Suki that he won't stand in her way if she wants to be with Eve.
Elsewhere, Sam returns to Walford and asks for Phil's help as she owes a lot of money to a drugs boss. Kat is furious when Phil considers helping.

Linda's day gets worse when Elaine wants her to say whatever it takes to get George off the hook over Dean's accident.
Meanwhile, Kat sees drugs boss Camillo threatening Sam, so she gets Phil and Billy to help. As Phil doesn't want his sister to get hurt, he agrees to get Camillo his money.
Elsewhere, Suki tells Eve about Vinny giving his blessing for them to be together. Eve makes it clear that she's not interested in going back to a closeted relationship now that she's with Tessa. Later, Suki confides in Vinny about her plans to leave Nish and start a new life.

Suki is still determined to leave, so she writes a goodbye letter to Nish. Vinny tries to get some cash together to tide his mum over.
Suki makes another plea for Eve to come with her. Stacey advises Eve to look to the future with Tessa rather than returning to Suki, but Eve remains torn.
Meanwhile, Sam pays a visit to Ricky, but he's annoyed that it's taken her several days. Sam vows to make Ricky and Charli her priority now that she has resolved her issues, but Ricky is unconvinced.
Later, after meeting Charli for the first time, Sam asks Phil for a place to stay so that she can be close to her family.
Elsewhere, Linda struggles with the impact of the past few days.
Also today, Mitch organises a surprise party for Karen and convinces Sharon to attend with Keanu.
