Coronation Street's Joseph Brown will be rushed to A&E in upcoming scenes, as his stepmother Gemma fears for his health.
When Joseph complains of a headache, Chesney doesn't believe him and thinks he's just trying to get out of going to school.
However, a more sympathetic Gemma chooses to keep Joseph home anyway, and even takes him to A&E when she worries that his headache might be an indication of something more serious.
Later in the week, Chesney tells Gemma to send his son to school whether he complains of a headache or not.
However, when he gets home to find that Gemma has ignored his advice and kept Joseph home again, he's furious.
Gemma becomes increasingly more concerned when Joseph later tells her his head still hurts, so she leaves the quads with Abi to take him back to A&E.
Is there really something more serious going on with Joseph, or is Chesney right to be sceptical?
It was recently announced that Jacqueline Leonard will be returning to the cobbles to reprise her role as Joseph's maternal grandmother, Linda Hancock, who will reappear at a difficult time for Joseph and the Winter-Brown family.
"Joseph's issues culminate in him falling behind at school," Corrie's executive producer Ian MacLeod told Digital Spy and other media during a recent press call.
"Joseph's fairy godmother turns up in the shape of Linda. She decides that she's going to fix all this and starts throwing money at the situation, which puts Chesney and Gemma in this impossible quandary ? in that by accepting financial help from Linda, they're giving up control of Joseph's life."
