Having sat watched the whole of season 1, episode 24 still leaves everyone in the dark. We are none the wiser about the others, what the numbers mean etc. Still entertaining, even though some of the episodes were a tad on the boring side.

In episode 24 its apparent that the others have superior technology demonstrated by the fact that they have a boat that runs on oil with a powerful floodlight and weapons to hand. I guess we'll see in season two more about the others but don't count on it and the producers have a tendancy to draw out the series.

Roll on season 2

Pure guesses and rumours about lost... ideas welcome. What I have heard so far is that everyone is dead and they are trapped between worlds.. you will notice the number get reduced in the coming weeks so they are the ones who realise they are dead and move on to the next world...

2nd theory, the island is a zoo and the french conducted nuclear testing on the island to make them giant...

As I said ideas welcome and this is all hearsay but the first suggestion makes sense as the weeks pass..we are miles ahead in Ireland and I am totally hooked on it.. Locke story was by far the best so far but each week I am left stunned by the end....

I was discussing that with my friend.. we said that each person was a patience of Jack's... it would be a dissappoint me if it did end in a dream with Jack on the plane..

I agree. I remember watching the last ever Crossroads and it ended like that, and it just looked like they couldn't be bothered to think of anything so they just did the whole "and it was just a dream..." thing.

That's a bit annoying, we watch 25 episodes or however many there are and we don't get to find out any of that? I hate it when programmes end and there are still loads of loose ends, even when there's another series.
