Nicole Richie's film debut is being released two weeks earlier than planned, to avoid competing with her Simple Life co-star and former friend Paris Hilton at the box office.
Andrew Shaifer, producer of Richie's Kids In America, has already accused the team behind Hilton's Pledge This of deliberately competing with his film to generate publicity.
Although Shaifer has now decided to change the release date, he fears that the battle is not over yet.
"My concern now is that Paris is going to continue to play follow the leader," he told Pagesix.com. "She will try to horn in on Nicole's PR again."
Hilton and Richie fell out earlier this year, but the reasons behind their feud are unknown.
"All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did and that's all I am ever going to say about it," Paris said at the time.
