Anna Knight secretly gets the ball rolling to find her mum Rose Knight

Anna Knight looks shifty after Linda Carter reveals that the takings at the Queen Vic are missing ?200 but suspicion instead falls on her sister Gina Knight!

The family are worried about Gina's recent relapse into her partying ways, as she's had problems with drugs in the past. The trauma of being abandoned by mum Rose Knight when she was just a kid has left a deep emotional wound and on several occasions she's gone off the rails.

When Gina finds out that Anna stole the money and has spent it on hiring a private investigator to track down Rose, she's stunned!

Confronting dad George Knight, Gina is about to grass up her little sister when Anna intervenes and claims she left the cash on the side and it was stolen.

Agreeing to keep quiet about Anna stealing the cash, Gina gives Anna an ultimatum, warning her not to go through with searching for Rose.

She insists that if Anna won't give up her plan, then she'll never speak to her again, as she can never forgive Rose for walking out on the family with no explanation.

Of course what the girls DON'T know is that Rose is in fact the supposedly dead Cindy Beale! A police informant when she was in prison, she was released early and given a new identity to protect her.

Despite Gina's anger, Anna secretly vows to go ahead with finding Rose, not realising about the bombshell revelation!

Gina is feeling distraught over Anna's plans and she heads to The Albert to drink away her sorrows.

Finding Jay Brown in the bar, she plonks herself down next to him and orders a drink.

As the drinks flow, Gina talks about growing up without a mum and tells Jay to look after his stepdaughter Lexi Pearce, who lost her mum Lola Pearce Brown to cancer.

It's not long before a drunk Gina goes too far, however, putting her hand on Jay's leg, causing the grieving husband to make a hasty exit.

Feeling sorry for herself, Gina goes to the club to track down the drug dealer she found a few weeks' ago.

Will she fall into a downward spiral?

Freddie Slater is happy to help out Alfie Moon when he reveals he wants to arrange a surprise pirate-themed birthday party for his twin sons Bert and Ernie.

The boys' mum Kat Slater scuppered Alfie's original plans for a celebration after she revealed that fiance Phil Mitchell was planning on taking them away.

The party is a great success and Freddie is wistful as he watches Alfie with his children. He grew up without a dad and never had the chance to have the same bond.

With no idea about the huge family secret that Freddie's dad was a man who raped his mum Little Mo Slater, Freddie forms a plan to find his father.

Also, Stacey Slater plans to lure her stalker to the house after she gets sent lingerie but Martin Fowler catches her in the middle of her stake out.

When Theo Hawthorne arrives she invites him in for a cuppa, not knowing that he's her obsessive Secret Cam client!

Freddie Slater learns some big news about his real dad

Freddie Slater is determined to track down his real dad after witnessing a touching scene between Alfie Moon and his twin boys Bert and Ernie.

He grew up without a father and his mum Little Mo Slater never broke the awful truth to him that his dad was rapist Graham Foster, who assaulted her and left her pregnant.

He was led to believe that Mo's former hubby Billy Mitchell was his father and only discovered that they weren't related when he arrived in Albert Square.

Cornering his aunt Kat Slater, Freddie says he wants to know who his dad is. Panicked and not wanting to go against Little Mo's wishes, she quickly dismisses his questions.

Freddie is not that easily put off, however, and he asks Billy Mitchell and Alfie Moon what they know about his dad. When Kat sees Freddie with them she quickly intervenes and nervously tells him she'll tell him everything she knows later.

Not wanting to betray her sister, Kat lies to Freddie and hopes that the matter is done with. But when her son Tommy Moon overhears Kat talking about it to Jean Slater and Harvey Monroe, he makes a note of Freddie's dad's name.

Freddie is delighted when Tommy tells him that his dad is called Graham Foster and an internet search sees him turning up a Graham Foster working at a car dealership site.

Will Freddie contact him?

Stacey is getting paranoid about her stalker, wondering if if it's someone in the Square.

After realising that not only does he know where she lives, he knows where she works...

She is particularly disturbed after some lingerie is left for her at the bap van.

After taking the afternoon off to watch the Women's World Cup in The Albert, Stacey has a good time and manages to forget her troubles.

When Martin turns up with Zack, however, her mood plummets. Stacey is still smarting over her recent row with Martin that seems to have put pay to any chance of the former couple reuniting.

As the evening goes on, Stacey is rattled when she's propositioned by a drunk reveller and she's grateful when Theo steps in and sees off the guy who's hassling her.

Offering to take her for chips and see her home safely, Theo is delighted when Stacey agrees.

She still has NO idea that Theo is her stalker and the closer she lets him get, the more she's in danger...

Anna Knight slips off to her secret appointment with a private investigator, to talk about tracking down her missing mum Rose Knight.

The atmosphere is still tense between Anna and her sister Gina Knight, who has insisted that if Anna tries to find their mum, she'll lose her as a sister.

Gina never got over Rose walking out on the family when she and Anna were small and has been dealing with abandonment issues ever since.

When Anna's dad George Knight works out that Anna took money from the till in The Vic instead of it being stolen as she claimed, she's forced to admit that she pocketed the ?200 to pay for a PI. He's alarmed to hear of her plan to find Rose, worried she'll only end up hurt.

Heading to the Boxing Den, George finds an emotional Gina letting off steam with the punch bag.

Getting an attack of the guilts for upsetting the family, Anna calls the PI to tell him to drop the case.

Anna is hit by a bombshell when he reveals he's had a big lead.

Freddie Slater confronts his father Graham Foster

Freddie Slater is excited but nervous after tracking down his biological father Graham Foster.

After aunt Kat Slater hid the truth from him about his dad, he got a tip off about his name from her son Tommy Moon, who overheard her talking about Graham to Jean Slater.

Kat was desperate to protect Freddie and respect his mum Little Mo Slater's wishes. Freddie was concieved after Little Mo was horrifically raped by Graham, a customer in the Queen Vic where she was a barmaid.

After Mo reported the rape, Graham was charged and in 2004 he was sentenced to eight years in prison. Little Mo was determined that Freddie would never know the dark truth and for years he believed Little Mo's former hubby Billy Mitchell was his dad.

When he turned up in Albert Square to confront Billy, it was revealed that he was mistaken, but it's only now he's discovered Graham's name.

Now out of prison, it seems that Graham is working in a car dealership. After trawling the web to track him down, Freddie confides in best mate Bobby Beale that he wants to see him.

Bobby comes up with the suggestion that Freddie should set up a test drive with one of the cars in the dealership, so he can meet his dad. Once he sees him, he can then decide whether to reveal his identity.

Freddie heads to the dealership but is soon overwhelmed by coming face-to-face with his father. Graham is shocked when Freddie blurts out that he's his son!

Meanwhile, Kat and Billy Mitchell have found out what Freddie is up to. Alfie Moon teams up with the pair to try and find him before the shocking truth is revealed.

Gina Knight is still feeling rattled after her sister Anna Knight revealed she was trying to track down their mum Rose Knight, who disappeared when the girls were small.

Elaine Peacock comes up with a plan to get the girls to help out dad George Knight by handing out promotional flyers for the Women's World Cup at the Vic.

Gina heads to the car lot to drop off some leaflets and it's a bit awkward when she sees Jay Brown, after her faux pas earlier in the week.

A drunk Gina got emotional talking about being brought up motherless and put her hand on Jay's leg!

Still struggling with his grief over wife Lola Pearce Brown who recently died from a brain tumour, Jay made his excuses and hurried out of The Albert.

The pair put the misunderstanding behind them and Gina offers Jay some advice for his young stepdaughter Lexi Pearce, who has been left without a mum.

The talk really helps put Gina back on track but she ends up feeling anxious all over again when Anna starts talking about Rose.

With ?200 missing from the Queen Vic takings, Gina discovers that Anna stole the money to hire a private investigator to track down their mum. Gina warns Anna not to proceed with her plan, but Anna privately vows to go through with it.

Later, Jay is joined by Gina as he tries to have a quiet drink at the pub. When Gina places her hand on Jay's leg, he gets the wrong idea and there's an awkward moment between them. Shortly afterwards, Gina heads off to buy drugs from a dealer.

Meanwhile, Freddie decides that he wants to find his dad after spotting Alfie's strong fatherly bond with his children.

Elsewhere, Stacey and Eve try to hatch a plan to draw out the stalker. Later, still oblivious to who's responsible, Stacey invites Theo in to have a cup of tea and is unaware of the danger that she could be in.

Freddie tries asking Kat, Alfie and Billy about his dad's true identity. Kat finally agrees to tell Freddie the truth that evening, but as she doesn't want to betray Little Mo, she ends up lying.

Later, Tommy overhears Kat, Jean and Harvey talking, so he finds out that Freddie's father is a man called Graham Foster. Tommy passes on the details to Freddie, who finds Graham Foster on a car dealership website alongside a contact number.

Meanwhile, Theo steps in to help Stacey when she's propositioned by a drunk reveller at The Albert. Theo takes Stacey for chips and walks her home, leaving her grateful for his help.

Elsewhere, Anna secretly meets with a private investigator to discuss her mum's disappearance. Later, Anna is forced to tell George the truth about the stolen money. George urges Anna to call off the search. Anna agrees, but will she change her mind when her PI gets in touch to share a positive lead?

Also today, Sonia is upset when she has to spend her day off with Reiss' wife Debbie when he can't do it himself.

Bobby helps Freddie to set up a meeting with Graham Foster by arranging to test drive one of his vehicles at the car dealership where he works. Freddie can't keep up the ruse for long and shares the truth about his identity to Graham.

Kat, Billy and Alfie worry when they realise that Freddie has gone AWOL. They demand answers from Bobby, who reluctantly reveals where Freddie is.

Meanwhile, Gina gives Jay some advice on parenting Lexi by sharing details of how she found growing up without a mum. The pair also take the opportunity to move past the awkwardness from the night before.

Later, Gina worries when Anna brings up their mum again.

Freddie struggles to process the truth.

Meanwhile, Bobby tries to tell Anna the truth about Lucy's death, but she reveals that she already knows about his past. Later, Anna promises Gina that she'll stop her search for their mum if Gina gives up the drugs for good.

Elsewhere, Sonia confides in Whitney about how she's worried she might be pregnant. Reiss puts his foot in it when he shares his negative view towards the possibility of children.

Also today, Honey starts to notice Ben's discomfort around food.
