sarah manners, best known for her role as receptionists Bex Renolds has landed herself a role in Coronation Street as Steve McDonald's new girlfriend.
this will be brillaint as imagine the cat-fights!

we all know miss manners and miss ford can act very well so this will be brillant finally a decent actress to replace surrane jones to battle against tracy, well it seems i may have an incentive for watching the show when she finally appears onscreen

Its really good she landed another acting role that quick after Casualty, i think she's gonna be great in Corrie, im sure they will be plenty of cat fights between her and Tracy, hehe

I saw it mentioned in a number of papers today, but i guess we just have to wait for an official announcement. Id say its probably going to be true, she would suit a role in Corrie

lets hope she is a permant cast memeber that stays for a long time, is actually develop and used, and not used for comedy, which when you think of it every character in the show fits one of them specifications of late

yeah i suppose as at leats with casulty they have big breaks in filming, corrie is 6 days a week filimng so she wont last too long. ah well it'll be fun whilst shes there

yup but seen as casulty is once a week and corrie is 5 times a week it would mean her days used to be shorter, go home earlier, and they woiuldnt film all year round so shed have big breaks at home with her hubby

It doesn't work like that honey, they spend just as much time on set as on Corrie. And get as many breaks as Corrie too. They don't get that long off inbetween each series.

ill take ya word for it lol but i dont get how 1 episode a week drama that has a summer break can film for as long as an all year 5 episode soap :confused:

yeah that does actually, shows they take care and have a decent show unlike some rushed rubbish that we've seen of late with our soaps

ITV is rubbish at the moment and so is their flagship show. End of.

as i sayh it was in the paper, and had a picture of with a big smile on her face, so i think its true, i will continously be looking on the coronation street website for final confirmation of her becoming part of the show!

some people are questioiing this ariticle, so i said id keep checking on the corrie website for official news of her arrival to the show

why im not sure is becasue sarah manners left to spend time with her husband and she hasn't been away 4 months or so and shes landed a rold in corrie which is in manchester i think :confused: so she'd be away from him agen.. unless he goes with her !
