MONDAY

Vinny Panesar is still stewing over the shocking revelations about his mum Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin. While Suki throws herself into arranging a Fathers' Day celebration for husband Nish Panesar, Vinny can't help sniping at her.

In The Queen Vic, Suki gathers the family but when Vinny spots Eve in the pub his mood darkens. Suki heads to the pub toilets and Eve intercepts her, begging her lover to stop living a lie.

When the couple emerge from the toilets, Vinny is waiting outside. Hitting out at Suki with a few home truths, he then threatens Eve. Not fazed by Vinny's attempted intimidation, she challenges him to do his worst.

Riled by Eve's words, Vinny heads out of the pub on a mission. Knowing that Eve is due to take Finlay's sports car on a trip to Brighton, he heads to Taylor's Autos and tampers with the brakes.

Is Eve's life in danger?

Ben Mitchell and Jay Brown are doing their best to support Lexi Pearce following the tragic death of her mum Lola Pearce. The two dads try to tempt Lexi into leaving the house to get some lunch.

When Lexi defiantly tells Ben that she'd like to speak at her mum's funeral, it makes Ben anxious. Worried that it will be too big a deal for his daughter, he forbids her to do a speech.

Furious with Ben, Lexi lashes out at him and unable to cope, Ben breaks down. Jay steps in to make peace between the pair and gets them to agree to talk it through over lunch.

With calm now restored, Ben reveals to Lexi that he's decorated her bedroom in his and husband Callum Highway's flat, so it's ready for her to move in as soon as she wants to.

Phil Mitchell is given food for thought after Linda Carter corners him about this new best mate George Knight. Linda shares her suspicions that George is hiding something sinister about his wife Rose Knight's disappearance.

Although sceptical, Phil finally agrees to talk to his contacts and look into it. He's got a business deal going with George and he doesn't want to get involved with someone he can't trust.

Making use of the fact that his son-in-law is a copper, he asks Callum if he can search the police database to see if he can turn up anything about either George or Rose.

Will Callum be able to find anything?

Also, Elaine Peacock arranges a 'Battle of the Dads' karaoke competition for Fathers' Day, while Freddie Slater encourages Bobby Beale to do what it takes to get his gran's wedding guests to the ceremony.

TUESDAY

Lexi Pearce has been reluctant to leave the house following the death of her mum Lola Pearce Brown from a brain tumour. After a bit of cajoling from dad Ben Mitchell and stepdad Jay Brown, she agreed to go for lunch at Walford East.

When Jay takes a call and has to leave to deal with some business, Ben's left alone with his daughter.

Being stuck in a restaurant is already starting to stress out Ben, who is still secretly struggling with his bulimia. After eating he rushes to the restaurant toilets but panics to find them closed.

Desperate to find somewhere, he runs out of restaurant, leaving poor little Lexi all alone. When she sees a mum enjoying lunch with her daughter, it makes her desperately upset, bringing up all her grief over Lola.

With Ben gone awol, an upset Lexi rushes out of Walford East and her great granddad Billy Mitchell finds her sobbing. He's horrified to realise that Ben left Lexi on her own and when Ben catches up with them both he has a massive go at him.

Ben is downcast as Billy points out that he needs to step up and be the dad that Lexi needs.

Phil Mitchell is on the case with George Knight, following up Linda Carter's worries that he's super dodgy.

Copper Callum Highway agreed to look on the police database for Phil to see if it turns up anything about George. It seems that ex-boxer George's record is completely clean but then something VERY suspicious pops up about his missing wife Rose Knight.

George claims he hasn't seen Rose in years after she walked out on him and their daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight. When Callum taps her name into the dateabase, there's clearly something there but his access is denied.

Phil passes the information onto Linda, who is sure that it proves that George is dodgy. Determined to get to the bottom of things, Phil invites George to the Boxing Den for a spar and asks him about his wife.

Taken aback by Phil's claim that Linda thinks something untoward has gone on, George insists there's nothing to tell.

Is George telling the truth?

Suki Panesar is horrified when she realises that her son Vinny Panesar has done something to the car that Eve Unwin is about to drive to Brighton.

She rushes to Taylor's Autos where Finlay Baker's car was being worked on to put a stop to Vinny's murderous scheme.

An oblivious Eve ruefully tells Finlay that the trip to Brighton is off, while Suki furiously pulls Vinny aside. She is horrified that he was trying to bump off Eve but Vinny defiantly accuses her of trying to protect her secret lover.

Suki makes it clear to Vinny that it's over between her and Eve and she's made her choice - him and her family.

Will he believe her?

Also, Lily Slater and Ricky Mitchell come up with a money-making scheme, that involves scamming cash out of teacher Theo Hawthorne!

WEDNESDAY

Phil Mitchell has been left with a lot of questions after son-in-law Callum Highway found out some alarming news about George Knight's wife.

After Linda Carter expressed her fears that something untoward may have happened to George's missing wife Rose, Phil got copper Callum to look into it.

While George's slate is clean, it seems that there's something huge going on with Rose, as Callum was denied access to her files.

With Phil due to shake on a deal with George between the Boxing Den and the Vic, Phil wants to know more about who he's about to go into business with.

Stalling on signing the papers, he asks his lawyer Richie to find out more and dig up some dirt about Rose.

Arriving at the Vic, Phil lays it straight with George and accuses him of not being straight with him.

Has Richie found out the real truth about what happened to Rose Knight?

Suki Panesar is keen to get Eve Unwin out of the Panesars' business after calling a halt to their affair. With her son Vinny Panesar now in the know and out for Eve's blood, she knows it's best to get Eve as far away from the family as possible.

Eve almost met a sticky end after a fuming Vinny fiddled with the brakes on Finlay Baker sports car, knowing that Eve was supposed to drive it.

After telling husband Nish Panesar a lie about Eve messing up their business, she insists that they sack her. Suki convinces Nish to let Vinny give Eve the news, who is devastated to be completely cut out of Suki's life.

Nish is suspicious that there's something going on that Suki and Vinny aren't telling him, but he can't get to the bottom of it.

Mechanic Keanu Taylor reveals to Finlay that it seems someone deliberately tampered with his car and Finlay is alarmed!

Stunned that someone was trying to hurt him, he's completely at a loss as to who it could be until he finds Vinny's necklace under the car...

Bobby Beale has been on a mission to help out gran Kathy Beale with her wedding. She revealed there were certain people that she really wanted to be at the ceremony when she and Rocky Cotton have their big day.

After some encouragement from his pal Freddie Slater, Bobby manages to get the contact numbers he needs but he's left disappointed after getting a knock back.

After relaying the news to Kathy, she tells him not to worry but it's clear she's disappointed.

Can Bobby get Kathy what she wants?

Also, Ben Mitchell is shaken after the incident with leaving Lexi Pearce alone in Walford East. Worried that he's going to be a terrible dad, he decides that it's best if Lexi doesn't move in with him and his husband Callum Highway.

THURSDAY

George Knight has been living under a cloud of suspicion ever since he came to Albert Square with his two daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight.

Linda Carter has been on his case from the get go, as she's worried that her mum Elaine Peacock is being led up the garden path.

Before Elaine turned up in the Square to buy into the Queen Vic, Linda had no idea that Elaine was serious with anyone, as she hadn't even told her daughter about George!

When George seemed to be lying about his money situation and the sale of his bar in Spain, Linda was even more uneasy.

But it was finding out that his wife Rose Knight had walked out on him and the girls nine years before that really set Linda on edge.

Rose apparently just disappeared and never contacted the family again.

After all the trauma that Linda has suffered in the last few years, she put two-and-two together and came to a sinister conclusion.

With the evidence stacking up, Linda started to seriously suspect that George had murdered Rose!

After getting local hardman Phil Mitchell to look into George's background, Phil asked his son-in-law Callum Highway to go through the police files at the station.

The copper couldn't find anything dodgy about George but he did discover that Rose was in the files, and access to them was classified.

With the mystery deepening, Phil asked his lawyer Richie to do some digging and he confronted George, accusing him of not being straight with him.

With the truth finally uncovered, the bombshell of what REALLY happened to Rose is revealed!

It's Father's Day and Suki tries to focus on helping Nish celebrate, but Vinny is frosty towards her after recent revelations. During a family gathering at The Vic, Vinny is annoyed to see Eve there.

When Vinny threatens Eve, she tells him to do his worst. Vinny heads to Taylor's Autos and tampers with the brakes on Finlay's sports car, as he knows Eve is about to drive it to Brighton.

Meanwhile, Linda remains suspicious of George and confides in Phil about Rose's disappearance. Phil doesn't want to go into business with someone who he can't trust, so he asks Callum to search the police database.

Elsewhere, there are family tensions when Ben tries to block Lexi from speaking at Lola's funeral.

Also today, Lily and Ricky worry about an upcoming meeting with social services.

Finally, Bobby continues to help Rocky secure all of the wedding guests that Kathy wants.

Callum is confused when he tries to look up details on Rose and all access is denied. When Linda finds this out, she sees it as proof that George is dodgy.

Phil also quizzes George about Rose, but he insists that nothing suspicious is going on and Linda has it wrong.

Meanwhile, Suki rushes to Taylor's Autos when she realises that Vinny has tampered with the car that Eve is planning to drive. Eve tells Finlay that the trip is off.

Suki confronts Vinny for trying to kill Eve and urges him to believe that it's all over between them.

Elsewhere, Ben struggles with his bulimia and leaves Lexi unattended at Walford East. Lexi gets upset when she sees a mother and daughter together at the restaurant, so she rushes outside. Billy warns Ben that he needs to step up and be the dad that Lexi needs.

Also today, Theo gives Lily some money, but asks her to tell Stacey that it came from Ricky doing odd jobs.

Phil delays signing the deal with George and asks Ritchie to look into the Rose mystery.

Phil turns up at The Vic on the pretence that they'll finalise the contracts, but he takes the opportunity to accuse George of not being straight with him.

Meanwhile, Suki claims to Nish that they need to sack Eve because she's making mistakes. Vinny insists on being the one to do it, but Nish gets suspicious over what's going on.

Later, Keanu discovers that Finlay's car was deliberately damaged and decides to warn him. Finlay is confused over who'd want to hurt him, but he finds a clue when he discovers Vinny's necklace under the car.

Elsewhere, Ben backtracks over Lexi living with him, fearing that he'd be a bad dad.

Also today, Bobby suffers a setback while putting Kathy's wedding guest list together.
