Home and Away (Aus) Spoilers 22nd - 25th May 2023

In the current week's Aust pace episodes (May 15-18), a woman turns up claiming to be Andrew's mum, Esther (character to be played by Mandy McElhinney). There is the suggestion, however, that she may actually be the woman named Margot mentioned in the spoilers for Mon 22 May, & she is from the cult, Vita Nova. We will see.


Monday 22nd May

- Margot torments Andrew. Justin and Cash locate Vita Nova. Marilyn's friends rally around her.

Tuesday 23rd May

- Marilyn doubles down in her fight against Stunning Organics. Theo confides in Justin. Xander attempts to ease his survivor guilt.

Wednesday 24th May

- Xander and Kate take comfort in each other. Mali and Rose's siblings push them back together. Theo and Kirby call it quits.

Thursday 25th May (Triple Episode)

- Kirby drowns her sorrows. Mali finds his way back to Rose. Rock chick Mercedes explodes into Summer Bay.

- Rose and Mali are stuck in limbo. Kirby avoids Theo. Lyrik implodes.

- Mercedes makes waves throughout the Bay. Rose lays down the law for Mali. Cash goes rogue.

Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian-pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has hinted that vulnerable teenager Andrew Lawrence may be in terrible danger after the show's latest Australian episodes.

The soap is airing a huge new storyline for Justin Morgan, who has spent the past few weeks kindly trying to help Andrew after finding him unconscious in an empty house.

Struggling without proper nourishment or support, Andrew had reached out for help from Justin by sending him a note when he spotted him carrying out community service work nearby.

It later emerged that Andrew had been left all alone as his father had recently passed away. Andrew's dad, who was involved with a doomsday cult, had taken him away from his mother when he was just 4 years old.

This week's episodes on Channel 7 have seen a woman claiming to be Andrew's mother Esther turn up in Summer Bay.

Andrew failed to recognise 'Esther', but Justin and his partner Leah Patterson assumed that it was because he was so young the last time he saw his mum.

While Andrew was reluctant to go and live with his mother, he felt guilty when he overheard Leah expressing sympathy over the possibility that 'Esther' may never get to bond with him.

Andrew ultimately agreed to go with 'Esther', even though he secretly wanted to stay with Justin and Leah.

Sadly, a new trailer on Home and Away's Instagram page has hinted that 'Esther' isn't all she claims to be.

The promo teases the story with the tagline: "The lie that changes everything." It seems that Justin and Leah may have been duped.

Writing in the comments section, one fan speculated: "Taking him back to the cult. Surely they should have done a DNA test."

Another added: "There is something suspicious about that woman, I don't think she is Andrew's mother."

Home and Away fans in Australia will see the storyline continue to play out this week, while these scenes will air in the UK on Channel 5 in July.

A trailer has dropped introducing new character Mercedes, who is set to shake things up in Summer Bay.

"Hell on wheels" Mercedes (Amali Golden) will join the soap this week, and she has her eyes set on one resident.

The short clip that was shared on Instagram yesterday (May 23) starts with Mercedes riding into shot on her motorbike to a voiceover that says: "Hell on wheels has arrived."

The trailer shows Theo (Matt Evans), who is showering at the beach, watch her as she removes her helmet.

Mercedes catches his eye and says: "Get a good look?"

It doesn't take long for viewers to see that Mercedes has a history with some members of the band Lyrik and, in particular, Remi (Adam Rowland).

Lyrik bass guitarist Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) is far from happy to see Mercedes' bike parked at the Lyrik house, and describes the new arrival as having "zero moral compass", adding that she doesn't trust her.

Remi, on the other hand, is excited to see her and embraces her with a big hug. The two later bond when Mercedes shows off her impressive violin skills.

Their connection seems to put Bree (Juliet Godwin) on edge as she and Remi have been working on their own relationship, and she can be heard in the trailer asking Remi: "How close exactly are you?"

"It's always been music, and that is it," Remi insists. "There is nothing for you to worry about."

Given the voiceover in the clip teases that Mercedes is "only here for one thing", will those words come back to bite Remi?

Mercedes will ride into Summer Bay during tomorrow's Australian episode (May 25).
