MONDAY

Adolescence has taken its toll on Cathy Hope who's suffering from severe mood swings, heavy periods and a hormonal disorder.

Cathy's felt totally out of control and has been in some hairy situations lately.

But Cathy's taking positive action and has decided to move away from the village to go and live with her brother Scott in the Lake District.

It's a tough call for Bob who's torn and finding it hard to let go of his daughter. But when Cathy assures him the move is a good thing, Bob's reassured.

After Brenda, Heath and co bid Cathy a tearful farewell, Bob drives his girl to her new home.

There's a new start for Arthur and Marshall too who finally decide to take the plunge and go on a first date.

Elsewhere, Mary's relieved when Rhona gives her mum her blessing to go to Ecuador with her girlfriend Faye who helps out in a women's refuge over there.

As Faye's charity auction gets underway, Suzy starts to get suss when Mary's girlfriend gets iffy about a bank transfer.

Sensing a red flag, Suzy takes it up with Mary who's affronted by Suzy's suspicion and decides to prove her commitment to her girlfriend's cause by donating a huge sum to her fundraiser.


TUESDAY

So Suzy's laid the seed that fundraising Faye isn't who she says she is but smitten Mary Goskirk hasn't wanted to believe it.

But when Suzy produces more evidence to prove Faye's a phoney, Mary's forced to accept she's been duped by her first-ever so-called girlfriend.

When Mary confronts Faye, the con artist turns on her, realising the game is up.

Soon, the women are tussling over an envelope stuffed with cash and it's Mary who comes off worse as Faye scarpers leaving her bleeding and out cold?

Will Faye get her comeuppance?

Across the village, eagle-eyed Nicola has spotted a gleam in Belle's eye and is convinced she's got a new love in her life.

Giddy Belle later meets her former childhood sweetheart Tom King in the Hide and urges him to tell his family he's back in the area.

WEDNESDAY

With Mack unable to lay claim to his kid lest new wife Charity finds out he cheated on her, it's in an intolerable position to be in.

He's always wanted kids of his own but now he's a dad he's not allowed to go anywhere near the tot.

So when Mack spots Chloe struggling with some shopping and the baby he can't just sit there.

Sarah, who knows about their ill-fated one-night stand which rendered them parents, is furious when she spots them together.

With her gran Charity on cloud nine since she married Mack, the last thing Sarah wants is the family boat rocked.

Chloe vows to steer clear of Mack but Sarah's not convinced either of the new parents can stick to the plan. And she's right.

Before long Chloe's asked Mack if he wants to go for a walk and he jumps at the chance to spend a few moments in his son's company.

But Chloe's got news she wants to share and leaves Mack spinning when she confirms she's returning to Aberdeen. Inside, Mack's heart breaks.

At The Hide, Jimmy and Nicola are astounded when they run into their nephew Tom.

Jimmy's stung to realise his late brother Carl's son has been laying low.

With Tom struggling with unresolved grief over his dad's death, Belle's worried about his state of mind.

Elsewhere, Nicky's stunned when he finds out his dad Caleb's new plan.



THURSDAY

So Chloe's gearing up to move to Scotland with her newborn son Reuben ? but her plan is about to fall apart.

There's panic for the new mum when her baby starts running a super high temperature.

A consultation with village doc Liam confirms Chloe was right to worry when the doctor insists Reuben goes straight to hospital.

There, Chloe's world falls apart as medics grow concerned her son might have contracted bacterial meningitis.

Back in the village, the terrifying news reaches the baby's secret dad Mack who does his best to try to mask his horror.

With Mack determined to stop his newlywed wife Charity from finding out he's the father of Chloe's baby, how will he handle the crisis?

At the Woolpack, Reuben's illness triggers painful memories for Chas and Paddy who share a moment of reflection and remembrance about their beloved baby daughter Grace who died 29 minutes after she was born in October 2018.



FRIDAY

Paddy Dingle's life has been in freefall ever since he learned his wife Chas had been planning to run off with another man.

As his happy family life fell apart and his heart broke, the vet's problems came crashing down on him. Feeling as if he couldn't go on, the dad attempted suicide.

Paddy made it through those darkest of moments but he's still totally raw as his feelings and experiences swirl around him.

Visiting Grace's tree to feel close to the daughter he and Chas lost in 2018 when she died the same day she was born, Paddy struggles to handle a huge wave of grief.

Who will support him?

One of the trigger's for Paddy's current pain is Chloe whose newborn son Reuben is fighting for his life in hospital having contracted meningitis.

As the new mum breaks down, it's her sister Amy who provides the comfort she needs. Will the tot's secret dad Mack risk an appearance to check in on his tiny boy?

Suzy is mistrustful when Faye is cagey on a bank transfer for the auction fund. She tells Mary her suspicions.

Mary is affronted by Suzy's claims and sends a large donation through to Faye to double down on her commitment.

Meanwhile, Arthur and Marshall agree to go on their first date.

Elsewhere, Cathy assures Bob that he's being the best dad possible by letting her go. Shortly after, everyone says a tearful goodbye to Cathy.
