my friend was saying today that philip dowling is going into another tv programe does anyone know the name of it?????? because it was saying on the tv the other day about him :cheer: hope he is because i am going to miss him when he goes out of eastenders

I have noticed that most people are saying that the actor philp Dowling aka leo Taylor isnt a very good actor i have read it on the DS forum as well i think people should leave him alone and stop criticising at the end of the day he has done is best that all we can ask also if he wasnt good why would he be selected to be in the show i am sure they saw some talent in him otherwise he wouldnt be in it :lol:

I don't think he's the best actor in the world but he's young and doesn't have much experience. I think it'd do him good to go back to college, get some more experience and then come back a little bit more trained. I think he's done well though but he's up against alot better.

I loved it!! Thought it was brilliant Eastenders had been a bit boring, but then the Leo and Demi plot came into it and i was HOOKED!!! Its a shame to see him go, it would have been good if he lived :crying: :crying:

I think leo and demi storyline was fantasic and did you know philp dowling has been on the bill 4 times befor eastenders and he went to drama school with the lad that plays demies lil bro How cool i hope he goes far in his acting career and i think hes fit!!!!!!!!!!

I got sneak today and he had a interview in it, and it had a really cute picture of him.He said now that hes not that busy hes gonna be hanging out with his mates and going to some auditions.So he could appear on our screens , but that means that he isnt going to appear in a programme just yet!

Im thinking the same thing, you may think this is wierd but when i found out that leo was gonna die, i sent bbc an email complaining about it!They even replied saying i am aware you are unhappy about philip dowling leaving but.................................
and they just went on and on and on!

Trust me he is dead, and if you only watch the soap for the men you really are dilussional, besides he was exactly Johnny Depp. Yes the character was sweet, but it was obvious his character wouldn't go that far, his and Demi's relationship was doomed from the off.

I agree, but Shana Swash who plays Demi didn't want to leave, so writers were left with no choice but to kill Leo off as it wouldnt have worked if Leo just left without Demi and Aleesha after they had all run away from home to avoid being split up.

It was a good little storyline, even if it was a little sad.
It helped to get the rating's that Eastenders wanted.
Some viewers only tune in to see a particular death, birth or marriage, I doubt they will keep the number of viewers that they had when Leo died. It'll be the same with Sharon and Dennis's wedding.
