Press Office Spoilers Week 17 - Sat 24

It is the day of the trial and Claire tries to talk to Pete outside the court, as the medical drama continues. Pete insists that he did not rape Bex and begs Claire not to say anything about what he has told her. In court, his defence lawyer tries to discredit Bex in the witness box, reducing her to tears. But that night, Claire breaks down under the strain. She tells Luke that Pete told her he came on heavy with Bex but that she led him on. She wants comfort from Luke but he is furious and throws her out of his house.


Elsewhere, loan shark Ian tells Abs to get him the money by 3pm – or else. Later, he demands cash from another man but he is ambushed and badly beaten by the man’s friends. He is admitted to the hospital but refuses to be examined. However, when his condition worsens, Ian dies from internal injuries.Abs rushes home to tell Nina the news: they are free from Ellen’s debt

That is so good that the guy dies (sorry, but it is). Poor Claire I dont like her that much but you do feel kinda sorry for her. I so want Luke and Bex to get back together, but it wont happen, what with her leaving. Wat did Pete tell her? The thing about coming on heavy???

a loan shark wouldnt normally work on their own, they will have others with them so someone will just take over surely and come for the money instead. would be too easy for it to just be wiped clean!

I dont like Claire, i always liked Bex better and Bex is telling the truth, so Claires in a awkward position so yeah, i feel sorry for her too.
And I used to hate Selena but now shes not that nasty, i like her more.
And Nina and Abs' problems probably wont be over..

i do feel sorry for claire in a way as its not her fault that her brother has raped someone but she has been really horrible and stroppy and gets on my nerves everytime shes in a scene!

Claire and Luke do make a nice couple if it werent for bex. i feel sorry for claire coz it must be so hard to handle the fact that your brother raped sum1 n then u take his side but your boyfriend takes the victims side who just happens to be his ex wife. a little tricky u must admit!
