MONDAY

Emma Harding makes an unannounced appearance in the Square on Mother's Day. Although she's come to see daughter Lola Pearce, her arrival causes ructions with granddaughter Lexi Pearce...

Lexi has Mother's Day all planned out, wanting to make it really special for Lola. When Emma interferes with everything that Lexi wants to do, her frustration bubbles over.

Lashing out, Lexi makes it quite clear that she wanted a special day with just her and her mum, and not Emma!

Realising that she's gone too far, a guilty Emma apologises and tells Lola she'll leave her and Lexi in peace. Not wanting Emma to feel pushed out, Lola encourages Emma to stay, saying she'll have a word with Lexi.

But things are about to take a shocking turn, when Emma gets triggered after her past is brought up. Lola is stunned as her mum gathers up her things and runs from the house.

After her granddad Billy Mitchell tracked the long-lost Emma down, Lola thought she'd finally have a mother.

But has Lola lost Emma for good this time?

Zack Hudson has done his best to be a better man ever since tragically losing his unborn daughter with Whitney Dean.

Dealing with his his own personal struggles and troubled past, he's not sure how to be around Whitney, who is lost in a world of grief.

Seeing he's not coping, Martin Fowler and Sharon Watts encourage him to be there for Whitney, as she's both emotionally and physically in turmoil.

Martin shares the story of former Walford residents Kush Kazemi and Shabnam Masood, who planted a tree for their baby Zaair after he was stillborn. Zack is inspired by Martin's words and he visits Whitney to talk to her about a plan he has in mind.

Still in a state of shock, Whitney refuses to go to the ceremony he's arranged for their baby. But after her best friend Chelsea Fox gently encourages her to go, she gets up the courage to attend.

Zack is happy to see her there and after the ceremony the pair grieve together alone. The emotion of the day gets to Whitney and she leans in for a tender kiss!

He initially responds, but mindful of his secret HIV diagnosis, he pulls away, leaving Whitney mortified and rejected.

Although he can see how upset Whitney is, Zack can't find the words to tell her about his health condition.

Ravi Gulati is determined to forge ahead with his plan to make a show of flirting with Chelsea Fox in a bid to get what he really wants...

He's banking on Chelsea's mum Denise Fox getting into a panic once she sees he's getting involved with her daughter.

With Denise's own secret romantic entanglement with Ravi threatening to derail her marriage, she wants Chelsea to have nothing to do with the smooth criminal.

After finding out that a major police investigation is underway, Ravi is determined to keep ahead of the law.

He realises that the best way to find out exactly what copper Jack Branning knows about his dodgy dealings is to get close to his family and if Jack's wife Denise isn't his in, then Chelsea is!

Despite Ravi's best flirting technique, Chelsea turns down his offer of a drink but it's clear that she's flattered.

Ravi knows that it's only a matter of time before Chelsea falls for his flirting and he'll be able to get what he needs.

Also, Rocky Cotton is alarmed when it seems that Freddie Slater may spill the beans about the very unusual way they've been making money!


TUESDAY

Zack Hudson is struggling to keep it together after Whitney Dean's unexpected kiss the day before.

Although there's nothing he'd like more than to be together with Whitney, Zack has still not told her he has HIV and he's terrified how she'll react.

When he pulled away from her kiss, Whitney was devastated, thinking he'd rejected her, not knowing that he's struggling with a secret.

With an appointment booked at the HIV clinic to review how he's doing, Zack's head is in a spin.

After confiding in Sam Mitchell about his HIV status, Zack has been grateful for her support. When she offers to go to the clinic with him, he's relieved as it's obvious that he's not coping.

At the clinic, Zack is tongue tied but Sam asks all the right questions for him, quizzing on the doctor on whether Zack can have sex and if he can try for a baby with his partner.

After returning from the clinic, Sam advises Zack to face Whitney and tell her the truth about his diagnosis.

Zack steels himself to finally admit what he's been dealing with these past few months.

Will he go through with it and if he does, what will Whitney say?

Jay Brown is furious with Emma Harding for running out on her daughter Lola Pearce on Mother's Day!

Lola has enough to cope with dealing with her treatment for her brain tumour. He's been worried all along that Lola will overstretch herself trying to reconnect with the mum that abandoned her as a child.

When Lola confesses to her husband that she's worried that after reconnecting with Emma after so many years, she's lost her mum yet again, Jay gets on the case.

Determined to find out what Emma is playing at, he gets in contact with her and tells him to meet her at the car lot.

After a sheepish Emma turns up, he tells her that she either needs to stick around and commit to being a mum to Lola and grandma to Lexi, or to leave now and never show her face again!

What will Emma do?

Chelsea Fox thinks a night out at The Albert with housemates Felix Baker and Finlay Baker is in order!

But it's not all about having fun, as she's aware that Whitney Dean needs to sort through her issues with Zack Hudson and she wants to give them the house to themselves.

After Chelsea arrives at the Albert with the Baker brothers, she's miffed to discover that Ravi Gulati is there. Not only that, he's joined by a mystery blonde and her jealousy is stoked!

Wanting to play Ravi at his own game, Chelsea comes up with a plan but it doesn't seem like Ravi is about to take the bait. Instead, he leaves the pub with the mystery woman, infuriating Chelsea!

She heads outside for a bit and much to her surprise she finds Ravi there alone. He tells her he was waiting for her and offers to give her a spin on his motorbike...

Will she fall for his games?

Also, Stacey Slater and Eve Unwin interrupt a suspicious looking meeting between Freddie Slater and Rocky Cotton. It's not long before they find out EXACTLY how they've been making all their extra cash and they are stunned!


WEDNESDAY

Stacey Slater is on edge after borrowing money from nasty loan shark Shiv. Her money troubles have been mounting in recent months, especially with a new baby on the way after daughter Lily Slater fell pregnant.

After taking various handouts from family, including Kat Slater and Lily's step dad Martin Fowler, her pride stopped her from taking any more. But going to a loan shark was always going to be a bad idea...

After getting together the money to pay off Shiv, she's relieved at the prospect of having him out of her hair. But she's left stunned when after she hands over the cash, he demands another ?200 ? by tomorrow!

When Stacey is obviously reluctant to hand over anything else to the dangerous criminal, he menacingly threatens her with violence.

How far will Stacey go to find the cash?

Chelsea Fox bring Ravi Gulati for dinner

Worried that he may find out about her illicit meet up with ex-con Ravi, when Jack is up all night working on the case she begs him to take some time off.

Despite losing his access to the investigation via Denise, Ravi has come up with another plan, sending flirty texts to Denise's daughter Chelsea Fox.

Chelsea is completely oblivious to what Ravi and Denise got up, let alone the fact that Jack is in the middle of a police investigation into him!

When Denise asks Chelsea to come over for a family games night, Chelsea's housemate Felix Baker does a bit of stirring and suggests Chelsea should bring a plus one.

As soon as Ravi finds out, he invites himself along as her guest.

Denise and Jack are HORRIFIED when Chelsea turns up with Ravi but as they both have secrets about Ravi, neither of them can find a way to tell him to get out.

As the night progresses, a smug Ravi delights in how uncomfortable Jack and Denise are and he starts to make digs...

Zack Hudson is relieved when Whitney Dean agrees to finally have a talk with him after a momentous week, including the unfortunate mix up when Zack did a runner after Whitney kissed him!

After meeting up in the Vic, the couple put aside their differences to have a proper heart-to-heart.

With all their issues now out on the table, they have a big decision to make about their future.

But will it be a future together?


THURSDAY

Sharon Watts may not have marriage in mind but Alfie Moon wants to put her in a romantic mood with one of his schemes!

Stacey Slater is still in desperate straits financially, after a very scary threat from loan shark Shiv, who is demanding his payments with extra interest.

With a huge stock of designer wedding dresses in the house from one of Big Mo Slater's dodgy deals, Alfie suggests that they flog a few to raise the cash for Stacey.

Alfie needs a glamorous assistant to show off the dresses and he asks Sharon if she'll do him the honour!

Although tickled by Alfie's request, Sharon lets him down gently, saying she's not up for getting all dolled up in bridal gear. She lands Linda Carter in it instead, suggesting she'd be up for helping out!

Initially reluctant, when Linda sees Alfie making a pig's ear of trying to sell the stock, she can't resist stepping in.

Desperate for the dresses to sell, Stacey is clock-watching as the time ticks down to Shiv's deadline.

Can Alfie make Stacey enough money to pay off Shiv and avoid his threat of violence?

Alfie's wedding emporium may not be Sharon's cup of tea, but one Albert Square resident is VERY Interested!

Kathy Beale is keen to get things moving and get married to Rocky Cotton after his surprise proposal at the end of last year.

When she spots the dresses, she is instantly won over and after trying one on, she is smitten.

Rocky is terrified when Kathy tells him she's got a dress and she's booking a date, knowing that he's failed to tell her a big secret...

After Kathy excitedly told him she'd love to get wed, Rocky hinted to Mitch Baker that he married a woman years ago but hasn't seen her since.

Is Kathy about to get her heart broken?

Jack Branning is fuming when he finds out that Chelsea Fox knows he's investigating Ravi Gulati.

Assuming Denise told Chelsea, he furiously confronts her, accusing her of compromising the case into Ravi, which a newly promoted Callum Highway is also investigating.

Keen to keep Ravi well away from the Branning-Fox household, Jack squares up to Ravi and tells him to keep his mitts off Chelsea!

Ravi's not intimidated by Jack in the least and after winding up Jack about the state of his marriage, he agrees to stay away if Jack feeds him information on the investigation.

With Jack stuck in a difficult situation, when Denise later tries to put Ravi in his place, he issues her with a threat that leaves her terrified...

Also, Patrick Trueman has a win on the horses after putting on a bet in honour of his former wife Yolande Trueman's 70th birthday!

The horse is called 'Little Prayer', which was the name of the song that they played at their wedding.

Patrick and Yolande divorced back in 2008 and she moved to Birmingham, but when she popped back to the Square in 2017, it was clear there was still a spark between them.

Feeling wistful about his lost love, after counselling Denzel Danes not to take love for granted, Patrick announces he's going to try and win Yolande back!

Zack shares an idea with Whitney of how to pay tribute to Peach. Whitney refuses to attend, but changes her mind following encouragement from Chelsea.

Later, when the pair stay behind following the ceremony to grieve alone, Whitney kisses Zack. Zack responds, but leaves Whitney devastated by pulling away. Zack still feels unable to share the news of his HIV diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Lexi is frustrated when Emma gatecrashes her Mother's Day plans with Lola. Emma soon realises that she has overstepped the mark. Things get worse when Emma rushes out after an uncomfortable subject about her past is brought up.

Elsewhere, Rocky tries to keep the details of his money-making scheme with Freddie under wraps.

Also today, Ravi is convinced that he can win Chelsea round.

Sam accompanies Zack when he visits the clinic. She asks some questions on Zack's behalf about when he can have sex ? and whether he can try to conceive with a partner.

Later, Zack visits Whitney after Sam encourages him to tell her the truth.

Meanwhile, Chelsea tries to make Ravi jealous when she sees him with a mystery blonde at The Albert. Her tactics pay off when Ravi offers to take her for a ride on his motorbike.

Elsewhere, Lola worries about Emma's sudden departure and feels rejected. Jay warns Emma to stick around or never darken their doorstep again.

Also today, Stacey and Eve interrupt a secret meeting between Freddie and Rocky in the launderette's back room.

Denise invites Chelsea to a family games night at Number 27 and Felix suggests that she should bring a plus-one. When Ravi hears about the evening, he invites himself along as Chelsea's guest.

Denise and Jack are not pleased when Chelsea and Ravi arrive together. Ravi can't resist twisting the knife during the gathering ? and it seems that the situation could get out of hand.

Meanwhile, Whitney and Zack have a deep and meaningful conversation, which leaves them with a decision to make about their future.

Elsewhere, Stacey pays off loan shark Shiv, but he demands another ?200 and threatens violence if she can't pay up.

Jack accuses Denise of telling Chelsea about the police investigating Ravi. He then warns Ravi to stay away from Chelsea. Ravi smugly warns that he'll only do so if Jack gives him some insider information about the investigation.

Denise tries to put Ravi in his place later on, but he responds with a major threat that leaves her nervous.

Meanwhile, Alfie comes up with an idea to raid Big Mo's stock of wedding dresses as part of the Slaters' latest quest for money. Stacey is worried as time is ticking down until Shiv's deadline.

Elsewhere, Rocky is nervous when Kathy tells him that she has bought a wedding dress and intends to set a date ASAP.

Also today, Patrick announces that he's going to see Yolande and plans to win her back.
