Lauren returns for Dot's funeral. Sonia confides in Lauren, Ricky and Jack about how she's struggling to write her eulogy for the service. Martin finds Sonia thinking in the launderette and encourages her to speak from the heart at the funeral.

Later, Sonia is surprised when Colin Russell arrives to pay his respects at the service.

Other mourners include Mary and Disa. Mary explains that Lofty is also en route, but he arrives at the church late just as Sonia is about to deliver the eulogy.

Dot's send-off continues as the mourners arrive at the Queen Vic for the wake. Sonia is surprised to bump into Reiss Colwell, who introduces himself as Dot's great-nephew. Later, Sonia shares a moment with Reiss.

Colin spends some time telling Sharon about his life. Colin leaves the wake with Kathy, who soon spots that Barry is also back.

Meanwhile, Lauren confronts Linda for breaking her dad's heart. Janine pressures Mick to tell Linda about their wedding, but he insists on waiting until after the funeral. Janine has other ideas when she speaks to Kathy about catering for the service, knowing that Linda can overhear.

When Mick does later tell Linda, she has to explain that she already knows.

Elsewhere, Kat and Alfie reminisce over how Nana Moon's dying wish was for them to get together. Alfie quizzes Kat on whether she's genuinely happy about her decision to marry Phil.

Sonia asks Reiss if he'll stay in Walford to support her at Dot's will reading.

Sonia admits that she fears she'll be made homeless when Dotty inherits the house.

Meanwhile, Alfie hosts auditions for the panto and plans to cast Kat in the role of Snow White, with him appearing opposite as the Prince. However, Sharon overrules Alfie by announcing that Honey has landed the part.

Elsewhere, Janine is fed up with Linda always being around, so she asks Mick to buy her out of The Vic.

Also today, Ben is optimistic over Lola's meeting with the brain tumour specialist, but Callum isn't so sure.

Mick tries to talk to Linda, but later tells Janine that he's not willing to take the pub away from her because it'll send her on another downward spiral. However, Mick has an alternative suggestion for Janine.
