EastEnders is to air the raunchiest soap sex scene ever seen on British TV. Viewers will see a half-naked Alfie and Kat Moon having sex on her kitchen table as BBC bosses mount a desperate bid to spice up the ailing soap.
A BBC spokesman told The People: "We want to make it as steamy and realistic as we can. We put this red-hot storyline in to get people talking about the show again. We've not had the best 12 months and we are going to go for it."
The scene, which will be aired next month, brings to a head a torturous plot in which Alfie has dated both Kat and her sister Little Mo. But the former Queen Vic barman will end up all alone when both women him the heave-ho on the same night.
The spokesman added: "In true Kat style, Alfie will be dumped after their explosive sex. That will knock him for six. Then hours later he will be hit by another bombshell - because Little Mo says she can't carry on either."
It’s the beginning of the end for Alfie, who leaves the Square in December.
