I know this ain't computing,but i didn't no where to post it, so feel free to move it!!

Anyway i want to buy a DVD recorder and i've narrowed it down to 2

-Samsung DVD Recorder, DVDR122XEU

OR

-Panasonic DVD Recorder, DMRES10

both are in price range, i am cosidering the Panasonic, but i wanted to see what some of youz thought

The Samsung one looks better to me; Dolby 5.1 sound, it's smaller, and it can play more formats.

By the looks of it, the Panasonic one will record DVD+RW but it won't play them!

Yes, you can. As long as your dvd recorder has a scart input

i want to get one for my birthday and my mum said she will ge tme one but if i tape the bill will i be able to put more than one episode on the dvd as on a tape i can have 8 eps so would i be able to record similar on a dvd

I want to get a recordable one a.s.a.p as I only have a basic one right now and loads of ee eppis I want to keep.

Layne, I'd go with Samsung, it sounds better to me, but get which one you want.

Yeh 2 people have said that too me, but i still think the panasonic i don't no why,
why is the samsung better?????
