Next week on Casualty, Sah gets life-changing news, while Dylan has a crisis of confidence and Marcus continues to ruffle feathers.

1. Sah gets devastating news
Sah is out working with Jan when their dad, Kevin, is brought into the ED having had a stroke. The team can't get hold of Sah who keeps muting calls from their mum.
Eventually Sah finds out Kevin is in hospital and rushes to his bedside, where they are angered to find Jools there as well.
2. Marcus sparks further fury
The team are disappointed when the extra security Marcus promised materialises in the form of a few bodycams, which immediately start causing more problems than they solve.
Stevie returns hers having been verbally abused by patient Jamie Gibson when he thinks he is being filmed.
Dylan is also furious that Marcus has implemented no other meaningful changes either, and is more focused on harassing him about attending a board meeting,
Fed up, Dylan later insists that Marcus must find another way to increase the team's security, as he initially promised.
3. Sah is kidnapped
Sah later notices a trail of blood and follows it to find patient Brian Dunlop ? who was brought in having sustained injuries from a bike crash, while attempting a last ditch effort to see his kids before being sentenced to prison. It quickly becomes clear that Brian killed a young girl while drunk driving and his family have cut him off as a result.
As the situation intensifies, Brian takes Sah hostage, forcing them to steal Jan's car and drive him to his ex-wife's house, which turns out to be empty.
4. Dylan is struggling
Elderly frequent flyer Betty Gilmartin asks for Dylan on entering the ED and is sad to see he seems to have lost his 'sparkle'.
Dylan soon learns that Betty's cancer has spread and she doesn't want more treatment ? her only request is that she doesn't die alone.
Dylan vows to honour Betty's request, but finds himself facing a crisis of confidence under Marcus's abundance of empty promises.
He is left further disheartened when he overhears Marty and Paul moan about his inability to bring about positive change as Clinical Lead.
5. Jan gives Sah some advice
As Sah is held hostage, Brian explains that he just wanted to fix things with his family but doesn't know how.
Brian then suddenly collapses from his earlier injuries and is rushed back into the ED, where Sah is moved to see his ex-wife return, this time with their kids.
In light of everything that's happened, Jan finds Sah and encourages them to reconcile with Jools. Sah takes this on board and has a heart to heart with Jools, but will they finally be able to move forward?
6. Teddy is back
Following his decision to take some time out last week, Teddy is called back to work amid Sah's crisis.
With Sah now out of action following the situation with their dad, an apologetic Jan calls upon Teddy to resume his duties ? but is he really ready to come back?
7. Charlie supports Dylan
In the peace garden, Dylan confides his doubts to Charlie, but his spirits are lifted when Charlie voices his continued faith in him.
Later, Dylan seeks out Betty and sits with her as she dies.
