CrazyLea
20-08-2005, 19:27
i dont like these wristbands. i like the idea of them for the charity . but most people (not all) only wear them as a fashion accesory. kind of takes away the 'zing' about them. lol IMO

.:SpIcYsPy:.
20-08-2005, 21:37
IMO? Meaning.. sorry Im bad at abbrevated words (sp?)

CrazyLea

If you go here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4220000/newsid_4226500/4226529.stm) you can find about all the wristbands they got.. I want nearly every single one of them but I haven't got any!! I like supporting charities and would like to show everyone I do but never see these bands anywhere

RealityGap
01-09-2005, 15:56
I think that they are a great idea and could care less if people wear then as a fashion thing the charity still gets the money - now the fake ones they are horrid and should be banned!

My mother in law (60 year old wanders) around with hers on - its fab!

I love my anti-racism one - have others but love it as I bought a kids one and it fits where the others are one size and fall off - I have tiny wrists

Tori
01-09-2005, 16:01
awww. my beat bullying and cloth MPH bands are the only ones which fit properly!

eastenderfan_91
01-09-2005, 16:02
my friend had a pink cancer research one and it kept falling of her hand

Tori
01-09-2005, 16:04
thats the problem, they're all one size!

RealityGap
01-09-2005, 16:15
thats the problem, they're all one size!

thats why the anti racism ones that nike made were great as they came in youths or adults and the youth one is great

the autism one is great - it is blue with lots of coloured jigsaw pieces on it but never wear it as it falls off......

Tori
01-09-2005, 16:17
i've never seen them. my friend has them all up his arm... i think he took it a bit far!! another one of my frineds bought 120 livestrong and sold them to people at school

01-09-2005, 17:54
