So whose the daddy?
Sean Slater or Jack Branning
I think it's Jack, Sean leaving soon and being so unpopular before he goes is just too convenient for it not to be.

I think that one of the tabloids has already printed that the baby is Jacks. Sean finds something in his christmas cracker that tells him that he's not Amy's father, maybe the missing DNA results? I reckon they'll have been put in the cracker by Suzie, as a favour for Archie.
You are right, it is now known who the father is and Sean finds out from a Christmas cracker. :(

I want it to be Seans, but like every one says he is leaving around Christmas, I was really starting to like him, he was caring, loving and showed so much concern for Roxy during the rough patches with Amy, I grew to like Sean alot more than I did before..I think Jack is a good looking SOB but he is just out for himself, and does not seem to care who he hurts in the process. ultimately when this all comes out Ronnie and Roxy will not be talking and their relationship will be shattered( again ?? ). Archie is going have to deal with Jack Branning ( a seasoned BAD COP) instead of young Sean Slatter.
Should be interesting to see the results and what problems the results will cause...:searchme: :hmm:
Jack is the dad
Spoilers below
25/12/08
It's Christmas morning in Albert Square and Sean's wiring up a sound system, ready to sing to Roxy. She's thrilled by his sentiments, but Sean continues to grate on Archie. A little later on, Archie overhears Sean telling Roxy that in a few hours' time, they'll be miles away from Walford and settling into their new home. Archie's waiting patiently for Suzy.
As Peggy and the rest of the family settle down for the lunch, a half-cut Suzy stumbles into The Vic and heads straight for the bar. Archie drags her to one side and asks her what she's planning on doing with the paternity test results. Suzy, however, demands her money otherwise she'll drop him in it. As Archie realises that he's starting to lose control, he grabs her. Suzy, however, is blasé about the situation - she has nothing to lose. Finding Roxy alone, Suzy tells her that she knows about Sean not being Amy's dad and that if she doesn't want anyone to know, she wants money.
Panicking, Roxy begins to pack her things and she eventually breaks down when Archie walks in, before confessing that Sean isn't Amy's father and explaining that Suzy's blackmailing her. Cool-headed, Archie assures his daughter that he'll deal with Suzy - he knows a secret of hers, too. Archie asks Suzy to see Roxy upstairs, where Roxy reveals that she knows about her fake pregnancy, but as they're talking Phil walks in and Suzy confesses that she was never pregnant. This leaves Roxy without any ammunition.
Suzy's delighted that Roxy's plan has backfired and as Sean enters the room, Roxy's scared about what Suzy will say. Archie sends Roxy and Sean downstairs and hands Suzy the cash from The Vic's safe. He demands the DNS results from her, but she reveals that she's already planted them somewhere and that he's 'cold'. As Suzy walks out of The Vic, she has some parting words for Archie - he's 'roasting'. With Suzy out of the way, everyone continues with the festivities, clinking glasses and pulling Ben's home-made crackers. Sean, however, is gob-smacked by the gift in his - a copy of the paternity test.
Elsewhere, Bianca receives a hamper; the Masoods help Ian and Jane out with food; and Dot gets a surprise when Jim arrives for Christmas.
Everybody around the table is stunned as Sean confronts Roxy over baby Amy's paternity. Jack soon realises that he's a father again, while Roxy stares at her plate as the seriousness of the situation finally hits home. As Roxy tries to run upstairs, Ronnie catches her and she breaks down in her sister's arms. Ronnie quizzes Roxy about Amy's father but Roxy's dismissive and feigns ignorance as to his identity. Sean heads across to the Slaters' with Roxy clinging on to his arm. Once at the house, Stacey's shocked to learn that Sean's not Amy's dad.
Marching around to The Vic, Stacey confronts Ronnie about Roxy and baby Amy and draws comparisons between the Brannings and the Mitchells. Jack quickly pushes Stacey out of the door, prompting Ronnie to question his actions. Roxy finds Sean in the launderette and is bombarded with questions as to Amy's father and the DNA test. She confesses that she was scared to tell him the truth in case she lost him - he'll always be Amy's dad to her. Sean, however, is persistent - he wants to know who Amy's father is.
Desperate to keep Sean, Roxy swears on Amy's life that the girl's biological father is nobody Sean knows. At that moment, Ronnie storms into the launderette with Jack in tow. Jack tries to persuade Ronnie to leave, but her curiosity is pricked - she wants to know why he's acting so strangely. Sean realises Jack's hiding something and the pair tussle outside and realisation hits for Sean - it's Jack, he's Amy's dad. Roxy looks on in shame as Ronnie processes the revelation.
Elsewhere, Christian's vests become a focal point at the Beales'; Jim and Dot have a nice Christmas together; and Dot gets another shock visitor.

Her hand forced, Roxy reluctantly admits to Sean and Ronnie that Jack is baby Amy's biological father. Unable to cope with the news, Ronnie walks away, while Sean antagonises Jack. Sean tells Roxy that he never wants to see her again and seeing that he's serious, she walks away, leaving Sean devastated. Jack later goes to see Roxy and confronts her about the paternity test, which rouses Archie's suspicions. With Jack gone, Ronnie heads to The Vic to find Roxy. Peggy tries to play peacemaker, but Ronnie's furious. Over at the Slaters', Sean's sneaking out with his bag.
Ronnie's cold as she confronts her sister about her betrayal - everything's changed between the pair. Roxy questions whether Ronnie will hold a grudge against her for the rest of her life, like she's done with Archie, but Roxy soon realises she's overstepped the mark when Ronnie storms out. Sean's in the Arches picking up some tools and makes a call to Roxy - he wants to meet her in the park otherwise he might do something stupid.
As Archie and Roxy search the park, Sean's nowhere to be found. On returning to The Vic, though, they're devastated to discover that Amy's disappeared…
Elsewhere, Suzy and Shirley have a scrap; Nick buys Dot a gift and reveals that he's now a successful plumber, before revealing his daughter to her - little Dotty.
I know that this will never happen but i do hope Sean gets away with Amy. After all that family have put him through (especially Roxy and Archie) to see his daughter and then to find out she is not his is plain cruel.
I hope Archie gets his cummupance. I mean he is horrible to Peggy, slept with Phils partner Suzy and lied to Ronnie about her daughter being dead and even said he went to her funeral.
Aww I knew it would be Jack, But poor sean :(
When did Archie sleep with Suzy? Have I missed it or is it still to come?

I still think Archie had the DNA papers faked ( people can do any thing on the PC these days ),,Archie has been hellbent to destroy ?Roxie and Sean..and he had the perfect person to get the dirty work done and put in that cracker ,,,, so .... I really really feel bad for Sean:ninja:
I hope there is a mix up and that Sean really is Amy's dad

ROXY Mitchell wets her baby’s head in a conventional way after the hell of her kidnap and frozen lake crash.
Roxy (Rita Simons) looks as pleased as punch in a spotted dress as newly-christened Amy sleeps in the arms of Dot Branning (June Brown), watched over by cousin Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Christian (John Partridge).
Also around is Dot’s bad-boy son Nick Cotton (John Altman).
Amy’s father Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is still anguished by his involvement with Roxy and her sister Ronnie.
Roxy was at the centre of several hard-hitting storylines, like the revelation that Sean Slater wasn’t Amy’s father — and Sean’s shocking kidnapping of her and Amy.
the role was recast with an older actress for a storyline, what could it be pregnancy, rape, self harm, body conscious etc., ?
looks to be self harm, she did lie and tell nuggett she slept with denzel
the actress is doing a good job
