Anthony has been trying desperately to beat Derek in the under water breath holding challenge and tonight he did it!
In a late-night pool session, Craig and Anthony were determined to take the breath holding crown. Anthony was all smiles with his success but Craig had an attack of the green-eyed monsters.
Anthony has never denied the fact that he is a very competitive young man, so when Derek set the benchmark of three minutes, Anthony knew that he had to do better.
Even Craig was very eager to up the ante as the boys embarked on a two-hour stint in the water. He was very pleased with himself when he beat his own record and Anthony's, but his Geordie pal warned, "You know that whatever time you get, I will beat it by one second." He wasn't lying either!
After umpteen attempts, Anthony finally managed to smash Derek's record by six seconds, clocking up an impressive three minutes and six seconds under the water.
Anthony was delighted, shouting, "Yes, I beat Derek!" Craig, on the other hand, wasn't so pleased whining, "Oh, I wanted to beat it. I would have gone to bed like a little kid when they've won a race."
