Eastenders or Corrie?

Since there is an 'Eastenders or Emmerdale' thread, I thought I would start a Corrie or eastenders one too, to see which one people prefer.

At the moment, Corrie is the most popular soap according to ratings, but which one do you prefer? My vote goes to Eastenders, because I think Corrie has gotten RUBBISH lately, compared to before Christmas. I think it was only okay because of Karen.

I would like to hear your views. Thankyou xx :)

My vote is for EE, it has been brillant since Sharon and Dennis returned and i also think Corrie has gotten so bad since Xmas

Yeah it was quite good when Karen and Tracy were fighting constantly and when Karen miscarried, but since then i haven't watched it much, and when I do, I start snoring lol

At the minute, Eastenders is a lot better then Coronation Street in my opinion. Coronation Street was great during the Karen era, but recently has had way too much "funny" stories, so has lost its magic as being a soap.

well EE is winning and so it should but seeing as this is in the EE forum i guess it would be winning lol! corrie trys to be funny too often, and its not even funny! at least when EE try to do comedy its only a slight touch which is good cause its not rammed down our throats then.

EastEnders is far better than Corrie in my opinion. I did like both about the same a few years ago, but EastEnders got better and I stopped watching Corrie as I felt it was getting a little boring. I still tune in to watch Corrie at times, and they still have some great episodes, but this is not consistent.

i think that Eastenders is better because Eastenders have better storylines and Corrie is trying to keep up, but it's just not working for Corrie,their storylines are to boring.

Eastenders.

Because EE has lots of dramatic storylines,and at the same time is very realistic.

Corrie might be funny every once in a while,but it bores me to death most of the time,because its characters are dull and they storylines are quite small,like Kirk,Fizz and the kennels!And There was the fight that Ashley was in.I know you can't have big storylines all the time,but the only good storyline at the moment is the Charlie and Shelly one,even though that can get boring after a while.

Some People might love Corrie,but everyone has an opinion,and I think Eastenders wins by far.

In other words:I LOVE EASTENDERS!!! :bow: :thumbsup: :clap:

I think Corrie is having a bit of a downfall right now, Emmerdale is still me fav! But im looking forward to the up and coming episodes in Eastenders when it all kicks off with Sam, Chrissie and Peggy

Lots of people are starting to off 'Corrie' and it's now considered to be in decline by a lot of people :)

The ratings don't really reflect anything in this case because back in 2001 'Corrie' was marginally beating 'EastEnders' in the ratings yet 'EastEnders' was on top form.

Lol I thought that this would be really close, but I think only ONE person has voted for Corrie! It was tighter between Emmerdale and Eastenders! But saying this, why is Corrie still the number 1 soap in Britain.

I don't even watch it much anymore, because its BORING. lol
