Eddie Murphy is being divorced by Nicole Mitchell, it was announced last night.
The Dr. Dolittle and Nutty Professor actor married the former model in 1993, and the pair have five children together.
News of the split was announced on US television show Access Hollywood.
"The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interests are our first priority," Murphy said in a statement.
Eddie has previously dated Halle Berry, Whitney Houston and Robin Givens.
